Question: My friend likes calling instead of texting? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 06:06 PM PDT He used to be my coworker but once in a while he would call me after every time I text him. He's not like I don't want to talk to him is there's nothing much to talk about. Sometimes I ignore his calls and come up with an excuse with a text. And Sometimes I just don't feel like talking what should I do?
Question: Do I have a good reason to be upset? Should I just let it go? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 03:55 PM PDT A friend of mine (lets call her Jessica) stayed the night at my house last night. Another friend (Lets call her Amy) dropped by to say hi. When Amy was ready to leave, we all walked outside to her car to say goodbye. Amy pulls out a dap pen (Marijuana vape) from under her car seat and smokes it and then hands it to Jessica. They both took a few hits infront of my house. Then Amy drives off. They both know I don't smoke so they didn't ask me to do anything. I have nothing against people who smoke, but my mom was home and she could have walked out and I could have gotten in trouble. Also, not to mention, Jessica didn't leave immediately after she took a hit. Jessica stayed at my house for several hours until her dad came to pick her up. She was at my house high... With my mom home... Luckily my friend Jessica is really good at hiding the fact that she's high. But honestly things could have gone south. Plus the fact that my friend Amy drove back home under the influence bothers me as well. Once again, I have nothing against people who smoke weed, but considering that I live with somewhat strict parents, it makes me upset that they would do that at my house and risk getting caught by my mom. If that had happened, my parents wouldn't let them come over anymore. They are very good friends but we have different beliefs about certain things. They've never been mean to me and they are always here for me. They also remember my birthday and do nice things for me. I do the same for them. It's just what they did today could have gotten me in trouble.

Question: Does having friends really define your character and who you are? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 03:19 PM PDT To me, I think it does since people judge others who don't have any friends harshly and call them freaks and weirdos. This is the main reason I am insecure about not fitting in as a 27 year old female. I tried chaining my social skills, removing my bad habits, and yet I still have failed at fitting in. I don't have many guy friend either because they just want a relationship, while some females don't like me when I do nothing to them. I understand that you don't need friends (like food and water) to live and being desperate for friends is bad, but I'm sick of being judged harshly and being called weird by other women for not having any girl friends. It's to the point that I hate my personality and that I feel like I'm better off being someone else. I think of all the times I've tried and failed to fit into certain social groups in my 20s and it has me wondering if I will ever find the right people. People are already in their cliques, and I'm still alone.
Posted: 09 Jun 2020 02:40 PM PDT Explanation: Me and X were best friends, we chatted in every moment of the day, I was always there when X needed me and X was there for me too. I liked a boy. I tell X about him, but the day of my birthday X and the guy got together. X betrayed my fidelity and I ended our friendship. Now X says I didn't care about them, but this is not true. What do you think about it?

Question: Why are my friends pushing me away? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 02:00 PM PDT I have never been a huge people person but the friends I did have I have always loved like they are not just friends they are family. but do certain reasons I got put in a wheelchair. After that happened my friends ditched me, they never sat or talk to me, even when I just say hi they act like I'm not there. i always thought that we were rock solid. is there something wrong with me? is it weird to talk to the girl in a wheelchair? am I the problem? I feel so useless, and unwanted.
Question: Can someone answer this please? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 01:41 PM PDT So I promised my friends that I would take a dab with them today in about an hour but the thing is I'm trying to stop from smoking anything because I just don't like it anymore, but I don't want to just say no on the last minute because they are the only friends I have and I don't want to seem like a coward, is there anyway I can 'smoke' with them without getting high? It's out of a rig
Posted: 09 Jun 2020 11:16 AM PDT My son has a business mind. His whole life has been about making products to exploit the general masses. Of course his products are minecraft levels, art, roblox games, story ideas (but not actual stories), and ways to solve global problems (just not social ones). So where does he find people who like the same things? Everything he likes are things he invented, so there's no "fandom" for him to join which seems to be what other kids his age do, and his creations aren't good enough to get a following. So I'm at at a loss. 3 years ago I had him add strangers who lived in the area like other teens do. He got to 1,000 friends but on a whim he deleted everyone except the people he's met in person, and even those people he doesn't talk to. Autism is such a strange thing. He doesn't make sense to me. He wants people to talk to, but he doesn't want to do the work or follow the rules of making friends.

Question: Should you significant other always put you down? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 09:50 AM PDT For instance I am always wrong and I never get a complement. The other day roommate threatened to kick my dog and it was my fault because I never "punish" the dog. Well the dog has hated the roommate since February and hates him. Roomate was having a bad day and yelled at me when I simply calmly stated you will not kick that dog. there are other instances when he never has my back, any advice?
Posted: 09 Jun 2020 09:37 AM PDT They say that I always inject race into every discussion they have. Or that I always have to make things political. Is this fair? Should I get new friends?
Question: Is it ever a good thing for a guy to have girl-friends? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 06:56 AM PDT So, I have trouble getting girls to like me in a romantic way. I've met girls that I like, their personality and everything. But they aren't attracted back. Is it at all a good idea to be friends with them? Or will that hurt too much?
Question: Why is my teacher so mean to me? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 04:06 AM PDT Helpppppp he ALWAYS reprimand me for SILLY mistakes that I make....if he ask me something and I don't know the answer he'd shame me by threatening a punishment....if I make a mistake in a classwork he'd be super mad at me....
Posted: 09 Jun 2020 01:37 AM PDT I (female) joined Tinder about 3 weeks ago. I have never really done the online dating app thing before and I'm not really sure how what the best way is to go about it. The idea of meeting up with a person I don't know makes me nervous and a guy I matched up with started talking to me and asked to meet up within a day and a half Of chatting but I turned him down because I wasn't sure if that was too early or not. How long should I wait before meeting up with someone after talking/matching with them?
Question: My close friend said I’m “second best.”? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 09:05 PM PDT I've been friends with my close girl friend for about 3 or so years now, and we do a bunch of things together and tell each other everything. We're very close and we always hang out together. Although, she told me to "not get offended, but you're my second best friend." She told me her number one best friend is someone she's known since Kindergarten. She doesn't talk to her all that much but this information still kinda hurt. What can I do about it?
Question: Would you let your 13 year old go to the mall by her self? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 07:58 PM PDT I'm 13 and wanted to go to the mall with a couple of my friends about 4 months ago but my parents didn't let me go because there wasn't going to be an adult but my friend is 15 and her brother is 14 but they never let me go to the mall . Why won't they let me go ( I know no one will know exactly but just to give me an idea ) i feel like they don't trust me do they and I just feel that way or do they really not trust me please help me
Question: Is it weird that I'm an introvert but I sometimes want a few friends? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 06:23 PM PDT I am a dedicated introvert I hate talking to people in person or even just on text. I get nervous, and my anxiety kicks in an I get sick to my stomach. I only have about 3 friends that I can stand. People just are not my thing. but sometimes when my cousin is on the phone with her best friend or goes out with them I get upset and thing I wish I cousin do that... is there something wrong with me?
Question: Should I get new friends?!? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 06:17 PM PDT I have a friend who I was roommates with my freshman year. We became like best friends. She annoyed me sometimes but that's normal. Its summer and we text every now and then. We are rooming again in fall and she brought me one of my favorite movies last month and told me how excited she was to give it to me. In the past month the protests and the riots are going on and there has been kind of a separation with the races. I was at dinner with my family and they were saying how their white coworkers texted and asked how they were doing during this. (Im black btw) This hurt because I didnt get a text from her I text her a week ago and it took her 2 days to answer which isnt like her and then when she answered she was acting weird and was just like "Great! Thank you! Sorry I didnt answer" which normally isnt how she talks to me. Idk i always assume the worst but it makes me think she was doing something shady or something that weve had discussions about earlier and i told her not to do. is this whole thing about the protests and race thing going on? maybe she feels weird? Another thing is I have one of her friends on snap (she added me) and i posted something and neither one of them view it, my roommate normally dosent but the other friend normally views my story and didnt this time. Idk whats going on this whole situation is uncomfortable and I feel like theyre all ganging up on me or something.
