Question: How do i deal with an easily agrivated prideful “friend”? Posted: 10 Jun 2020 06:00 PM PDT A childhood friend of mine as recently become extremely prideful and in his words "an a*hole", he becomes easily agrivated when someone disagrees with him or even slightly insults him (dishes it out all the time btw). How can i deal with him, or should i just stop interacting with him? Edit: he also shuts down whenever he realizes hes wrong about something or he starts losing an argument/game |
Posted: 10 Jun 2020 04:12 PM PDT I mean fact but I'm a 36 year old man who got knocked unconscious by a 16 year old female gymnast is about as embarrassing as it gets but that's another story. I honestly don't remember the KO or waking up for that matter but I drank a little too much and said a couple of inappropriate comments to her friend about her butt while houseitting for my first cousin, which prompted her kick to my mouth. Pretty despicable on my part but a damn overreaction on hers. So again they both said I made strange sounds while laid out on the ground and just wondering what kind of my subconscious that was or just some type of physiological thing? |

Question: Am I supposed to feel bad about this? Posted: 10 Jun 2020 03:44 PM PDT I have a female coworker. We got along very well. We have sex and everything. I sent her a video of me masturbating myself. Then she post that video on FB and inst. Am in trouble? people say now that I am a perv. But the video wasn't supposed to be distributed. She played me badly. |
Question: I believe my friend is racist, how can I subtly yet firmly call him out? Posted: 10 Jun 2020 02:39 PM PDT I'm black myself and have been keeping up with the BLM for years (I'm 22) and I was talking to him about the BLM movement and that if he heard about the death of George Floyd, he said no. And I was shocked and said "You're telling me you've never heard of him?" And he said again, "no." I found it hard to believe so I asked him if he's ever heard about the BLM movements, if he's ever heard about what's going on, and again he just simply said no. He's a serious homebody (doesn't work or go to school) so he's never really caught up with things, but to say you have no idea about this was shocking. Anyways, I was trying to have a conversation about it but he never responded. I said that I really hope that racism ends, I hope that racially motivated police brutality will end and was just talking to him about current issues like that but he never responded. At this point I really believe that he may be racist. Not to me, but he has said the N word before and I called him out. But now, I'm sure that he is racist but please, how can I call him out? Honestly, I want to end the friendship, but I want to let him know why I don't want to continue being his friend. (He's younger than me, in case you were wondering.) |
Question: Are there any introverts that feel like having friends can be draining at times? Posted: 10 Jun 2020 02:18 PM PDT As an extreme introvert, sometimes having friends can get draining. Don't get me wrong I do love my friends more than anything and would drop what I'm doing if there was an emergency to be there for them. But the expectations to call them every week to chit chat or they will think you are being rude or ignoring them can be draining. I understand I have to make an effort, but I can literally go a whole month without talking to my friends. So I try to call them more often. But it feels forced. Like when they call I literally grunt because it interrupts my solitude. Please don't respond with you are being selfish if you don't understand what an extreme introvert is or with you should be grateful. Because I am grateful to have my friends, I'm just one of those people who don't need to talk to people as much as they want to talk to me. But I do make the effort. Does anyone else ever feel like that? |
Posted: 10 Jun 2020 11:41 AM PDT Hi.. so I'm 17 and I have really bad social anxiety (I've been professionally diagnosed so I'm not self diagnosing). I'm supposed to be starting college in September but I'm really really REALLY nervous because I'm super shy and awkward and I'm worried I won't make friends.. I know it's up to me to speak to people, my parents have told me that over and over but I get super embarrassed and worry that people might think I'm weird or something idk. Does anyone know if colleges in the UK do like ice breaker tasks to help us get to know each other? That would 100% help.. we don't have a group chat with everybody on the course unlike my lucky friends who are attending university meanwhile I'm stuck at community college being totally clueless as to who's on my course... |
Posted: 10 Jun 2020 09:47 AM PDT Do they just feel lonely in their mind? Maybe they are not able to see how many people truly care and love them. |

Question: Should everyone have a healthy social life? Posted: 10 Jun 2020 08:08 AM PDT Does everyone deserve a normal social life with friends and stuff I'm an autistic person and whenever I complain about not having many friends they always tell me "shut up! You're not entitled to a normal life" That's so rude and mean! I hate those people because you give them an inch and they take you a yard. First they say you don't deserve to have friends and next they'll say that I'm not entitled to eating or breathing or living at all. Why are people so mean and evil with me. |
Question: Anatomy and Physiology question? Posted: 10 Jun 2020 05:49 AM PDT I am doing a case study for my class about an Achilles tendon rupture and I need to figure out why does a rupture most commonly occur 2-6 cm from its insertion to the calcaneus? |
Question: Why was he staring at me when I’m with my guy friend? ? Posted: 10 Jun 2020 05:05 AM PDT There's this guy and when I walk into the supermarket (where he works) he literally turns his whole body to stare at me and when I look back at him he doesn't look away. I'm with my guy friend and he doesn't seem to care (it might have been my boyfriend) he keeps on trying for eye contact and when I get closer to him he just stares at me really intensely Why does he do this? He's done it twice now and I'm with my boy friend. |
Question: CV-19 question; friends hanging out? Posted: 10 Jun 2020 04:22 AM PDT My 13yo has pretty severe asthma. He has anxiety too so he's really nervous about catching the virus and often says "when I catch it, it'll kill me". Our state got hit pretty bad too. His friends just started going on bike rides around town, go to this friends house, that friends house.... he brings a mask. I let him go 2 days last week, this week I said let's hold off. Should I email the parents of his friends and ask them that if they think someone in their family that their child has been in contact with may have the virus to let us know so my son can stay safe? Or do I just let him go and hope for the best? |
Question: Going to college with friends? Posted: 10 Jun 2020 02:22 AM PDT I'm a senior and I start applying to colleges soon. Me and two of my closest friends all want to go to same school but it was all coincidental as we didn't plan it out or anything. The thing I'm worried about is going to college with high school friends. I do love them but what if I find an even greater group of friends and then just,,, leave them? It's a school I love but I don't want all of us ending up going there together and then stopping being friends just a few months in bc i want to explore other friends groups :( |

Question: Can somebody explain why a women would tell me her friend is a sex addict? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 11:19 PM PDT People I met through a mutual contact and a women tells me I'm giving you a heads up my friends a sex addict so watch out. I didn't cheat on my wife. I was attracted to her friend when I met her and even more after I found out she's a sex addict. But I'm suspicious about the friend who told me and concerned for her attractive friend because what kind of friend goes around telling men her friends addicted to sex? That won't make men stay away I can tell you that much. She told me not to tell nobody cause her friend told her in secret conversation they had so why the hell is she telling me? I'm a good man but there's no doubt in my mind that other guys won't try to hit that because its a turn on. Hell yea hearing that got me horny she's hot as hell She gave me a heads up as in she was warning me her friend would want to go all the way if I touched her private areas. It sounded like her friend was trying to protect my marriage so I don't go cheating on my lady |
Question: I told my friend something now she thinks I'm crazy? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 08:45 PM PDT I told my best friend that i have a rape fantasy and she told my college counselor. I really need to know what to do. |
Question: Don't you hate when your friend becomes lazy to do school work? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 07:40 PM PDT I share a google doc with my friend, so we can prepare our study guide for the exam. It seems like I'm doing all the reading and editing the info for the exam. She does not do anything for the class. I have no choice of doing it if I want to pass the class. I gave her an easy job of fixing the study guide, she does later on. I don't wanna be rude to her and call her being lazy, but I am getting tired of doing so much. I have other classes too. Have you guys ever had a friend who did not do much? |
Question: What to do when you miss someone? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 07:24 PM PDT I used to have this friend, I guess we're technically still friends but I've been super toxic lately. I didn't want to be toxic, its just my job has been stressful (we work together) and I just started on antidepressants which have made me a little more emotionally unstable. We kinda had a bit of a mild argument and we just haven't talked since. I hate how i treated her, and other people, and just want to spare her from having to deal with the kind of person I am right now. I'm on the path to internal change but I don't want her to just become just another person who hates me, especially because we work together. I miss her a lot, she always made me feel better when we talked or played games together, but now we don't anymore... should I extend the olive branch and try to mend what I broke? Or should I just leave her be? |
