Question: Hi, can you please answer these questions for a health assignment? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 04:56 PM PDT These are the questions that were given by a teacher: Name 5 describing words that you think best describe you...and tell me why you chose the 5 describing words. Tell me 2 things that you do that make you happy….and tell me why they make you happy. No one likes to have regrets...is there anything in your life you regret doing/or not doing? (example: I regret not going to my dream college. I regret arguing with my brother so much. I regret not taking a risk to open up my own business) If you had to pick 2 different points of advice that you feel will help me life my best life...what would they be? What are the top 5 things you think are most important in a good friend? Who is your closest friend and why? What are the top 5 qualities you think are important to find in a significant other? (future/current husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, life partner ) Given our current living environment in this Covid-19 Pandemic, tell me about something you have gotten to do or think about more? |
Posted: 14 Jun 2020 10:48 AM PDT My best friend and I have known each other 20 years and been besties for 15. We been through everything together. Good bad and horrible. I am just getting out of a horrible abusive relationship and rebuilding my life. My best friend doesn't visit often but lately when she do call or visit she needs something. On her last visit she made it seem like she wanted to hang out. But really she wanted me to take in her 2 kids dog and cat. I have six kids myself that are gone for the summer. Am I wrong for wanting to tell her no? I feel sick to my stomach and overwhelmed by thought of this situation. Please help. I am so mad at her for asking this of me. |
Posted: 14 Jun 2020 10:23 AM PDT I've loaned money to friends, with mixed results. I am curious: if you borrowed money from a friend and didn't pay the friend back, (1) why didn't you and (2) what happened? Did you keep the friend? |

Question: How to take negative criticism from a friend? ? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 02:36 AM PDT One of my girl friends throws a comment out of the blue, about how I shouldn't be interacting with animals so much. When I told another friend that night that this comment bothered me, she agreed saying my behavior is exaggerated, I act like a 10 year old etc. These critisism came from the fact that when I see a stray cat or dog on the street I stop to pet them.Thoughts? How would you respond? |
Question: How can I learn to accept that I wont make any friends.? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 01:53 AM PDT I'm in alot of emotional pain right now. It hurts so bad thatI wont ever have real friendships. I have tried and put myself out there to make friends it either never lasts or they diss me and dont want to hang out. Like I literally have had people turn me down as a friend. Or we hang out once or twice then I never see them again. The "Friends" I do have only hang out or call me when they are bored or they get into an arguements with their other friends. I spend every single summer in the house alone. Well all year long. When my so called friends feel like being bother with me then I will hang out my 3 times a year. Or they call me vent about their problems because im a good listener. They never visit me or hang out with me on my bdays. It hurts so bad 😓 I will be 29 next month and I read my diary from 10 years ago and I wanted friends so bad then too. And nothing has gotten better or changed. I wish people found me interesting and wanted to be my friend but how can I live and accept not having friends. I never had a boyfriend before either but thats another story |

Question: Just as people can support something, cant others not support it peacefully? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 09:35 PM PDT Not to offend anyone, but I am a young girl who is curious about this. On social media people argue with each other and its the pro-people arguing with the not-pro people on a certain issue. Just as people can be pro something and want people to be 'open-minded' about these things, why cant they let others be against it? kind of contradict themselves by wanting others to be 'open-minded' but won't be open-minded enough to let each to their own opinion? Idk. just a thought i guess. |
Posted: 13 Jun 2020 09:16 PM PDT Me and my friend have been friends for 4 years and he attacked me because according to him when he was drunk I should have told him I was gay. Then he said "F(U)c(K) Black lives matter knowing I am a bi-racial black person. Then he texts me later saying I am so sorry and I told him how I felt and that we should keep distance and he told me to shut up. |
Question: Do you dumb yourself down for others? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 09:03 PM PDT First thing is first, I'm in no way implying that I'm a genius. I just find that I dumb myself down way too often and it bugs me. And to a degree, I feel bad, because these people are my friends, people I've grown up with, some to the point that I'd consider family. It's frustrating me lately to the point where I don't want spend my energy trying trying to understand them or having them understand me. I have people that I have connected with intellectually, spiritually, etc. I have to admit, there is a certain joy I feel with these people that I don't with them. I love these people, but lately I feel like I could care less because it feels like I'm putting in work into a character to present to them. But I don't like the guilt, it feels like hypocrisy. Anybody else? How do you deal? |
Posted: 13 Jun 2020 08:41 PM PDT I don't know, a week ago when I go to yahoo, everything only appears in English, the questions everything, right now I use the google translator to ask this question, and I'll do it to be able to read the answers, all questions about trump and questions about the black issue, and that nothing to see here in Argentina, although it is interesting to know this, did not know that yahoo existed in the United States, and surely the company is from there |
Question: How to cope with always feeling lonely? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 07:45 PM PDT As long as I can remember I've always felt this way. I had way more friends when I was younger but I never really felt close to anyone. I just always had this feeling of being alone deep down. It hits even more during graduation time. I remember my first graduation...I had friends but I felt alone, like an outcast the whole time I was there. Then graduation from high school, I had friends but I still felt the same way. I'm currently in the second year of university. I don't really have any friends in my faculty. The few people I know I wouldn't call friends. I rarely see them and we don't ever hang out. People who I would consider my friends are in different faculties from me. Since my school does graduation by faculty, I won't graduate on the same day as them. It just occurred to me that I'd have to attend yet another graduation and feel like **** the whole day. I'm dreading it now. Even worse, I'll probably end up having to spend an extra year. I wish I could have friends and not still have this perpetual feeling of loneliness. It's so bad that it feels pointless talking to people anymore. I hate feeling like this and I wish I could just turn it off |
Question: Why is there no justice? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 07:26 PM PDT A guy who was a bully and mean to a disabled guy in school is happy perfect has everything he wants and the disabled guy has all the problems. |
Question: Was I wrong for deleting my so called friend from my social media accounts ? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 07:07 PM PDT I had this friend for over 16 years of friendship. But she kept her wedding private, found out from other people she got married and I thought it was weird but I was like whatever. She called me and lied saying oh I told you I was getting married I was like no you didn't. You told me you was planning on getting married to your boyfriend 5 years ago. Then she had a baby and wouldn't even answer my phone calls. She changed her number. She follows me on social media accounts and I decided to unfollow her because I need a friend to talk to about what's going on in the world, my personal and professional life and she's not it. Was I wrong for deleting her off my social media accounts? |

Question: Is she in love with me? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 05:05 PM PDT When I did go to school with her she was a friend for me. Since that we have graduated, These days I do not see her and .... i just do not understand why I am developing this love for her. Is it because she loves me ? However, when we we went to school,, she hardly responded to my messages. So it did not look like she had any love for me. |
