Don't ask— she's like that. He lives in Illinois with his gf and my mother lives in Toronto, ON, Canada They've been separated and living apart since 2008. Question: How can I get over with my parents not loving me? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 05:52 PM PDT Hi I am faith Ever since I was a child my parents say me as a burden I was emotionally verbally physically and mentally abusive I was treated like trash I was told I could never do any thing in life I was reminded of this daily my brother would slap me belittle me and hit me but I always forgive him because I needed to feel love my sister bullied me all the time I left home as soon as I turned 18 on my 18 birthday I pack my things and I told my parents "I will never see you again and once I get married and have kids I will never invite you to my wedding and I will never let you see them" it was also the first time I stood up for myself so I left and never looked back I filed a restraining order I moved to South Carolina and married the man of my dreams and I have been happily married for 12 decades and have my own children and grandchildren but I still break down and cry about my parents not loving me during my childhood somehow things will be good then bam I will remember and then get depressed again it wounded me very deeply my husband and my kids and grandkids have helped filled that void for me but still I feel sad and depressed about it. Question: Have your ex-husband come over cause he is having problems with his second marriage? ? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 11:49 AM PDT The reason why I am asking this question is that my ex-husband has come over to the house so many times (which is his parent's house that I am living with) due to that he is having problems with his 2nd wife. It is always something. One day it is money or any day is a credit score or something else. He has been nice to me and means to her. I feel bad for her but she is the cause of my fail marriage. But it is his fault too. And at the same time; he is being nice to me. Well, that is great but I really don't want to be with him. I made up my mind that I rather not get back with him due to the past. I am strong about me being single. At the same time; he asked me countless times to buy him stuff and pay me back. I have a hard time believing that. I work on my own without him and making my own money to support my two children while he pays child support but it's not much. But I get it that it is his parent's house and his parents make that decision that he can come over anytime. Overall, I want nothing to do with his problems with his second wife. But why is he telling me about it? Help! I do respect him as the father of my children but I do not love him like I used to. He needs to understand that there is a line that he cannot cross. But I don't know if he knows that. |
Posted: 09 Jun 2020 11:00 AM PDT I'm 38 this year and I've been married for 16 years but together for 19. Up until our 2nd child was born she spent a lot of time charming me and making me feel special (I would do the same back) but after that 2nd child she's been so focused on them and her own interests that I haven't really been existent in her life for the last 14 years. I fight to gain her affections and attentions again but there's always a new pain in her body, or a new assignment that's behind in the kid's school, or something going on at work that has her depressed, or a chore that needs to be done, or she's mentally drained and she wants to watch a show or play a game, or she wants to start a project (alone) and make herself feel better by being more productive... Basically, there's always something on that woman's brain that prevents her from realizing that I exist. I still do things to make her feel special but it falls on deaf ears, blind eyes, desensitized skin, and empty hearts. Her duty to the family and to her self improvement (not physically, just emotionally/mentally) is more important... Next year she turns 40, will her 40's be better or does it get worse from here? |
Question: Is she just looking for attention? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 10:38 AM PDT I'm sitting here in our bedroom working. I have on a headset to received phone calls and I also have a radio playing in the background in my room. My wife comes into the room and just stands there looking at me from the back. I turn to look at her and she tells me that she was choking in the kitchen. I look at her and say, "I assume you're okay now." She said "I am but I could have died." I thought I heard something but am I suppose to go running ever time I hear my wife cough, clear her throat, or sneeze just to make sure she's ok? I get choked often but I don't go run to her to tell her I almost died. What she was trying to say was that I obviously don't care enough about her to hear her choking and come see about her. Does she just want attention? |
Question: Is his mom trying to hook me up with her son? What are some signs? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 10:18 AM PDT I met my ex's mom for the first time in March. My ex is supposed to be getting an arranged marriage to some woman in Cambodia. Long story short, my ex thought, she wouldn't like me because I'm a black woman. Here comes the confusing part... The mom (who's pakistani) and I exchanged numbers and now she's communicating with me all the time, she wants to go shopping, she wants me to go to dinners with her son and her husband. (All four of us, like we are one big family..confusing right?) She calls me to check up on me, ask me what I'm cooking. I'm supposed to pick her up and go shopping with her in a few days. What does she want? Is she trying to get me with her son? Is the arranged marriage still going to happen? |

Question: Should I have warned him what might happen? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 08:06 AM PDT I am divorced but my ex wife and I are still on friendly terms. She calls me from time to time, for advice on her investments. I got a call from her current husband that he did not want me talking to her ever again. I tried to explain to him that she called me. I did not call her EVER. To make sure I didn't talk to her again he said he would forbid her from calling me. Knowing my ex wife as I do, I knew he was going to be in big trouble for forbidding her from doing anything. It turns out he was in more trouble than I thought. She kicked him out of her house and off of her bank account and is filing for divorce. He called me and was mad I didn't warn him she would do that. I told him his relations with his wife were none of my business and I was not going to get involved and not to call me again about his soon to be ex wife and his problems. Did I do something wrong by not warning her husband what might happen to him? |

Question: Should I divorce my husband or stay unhappy? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 07:42 AM PDT Hi all, Me and my husband have been married for 7 years and we have 2 kids. Our relationship has been on and off ever since the 2nd year of our marriage. He is a very lazy person who doesn't want to do anything in the house! He is always tired. All he want to do is sleep. He has no desire to improve his life. He is also addicted to pornography. I'm totally the opposite. I have a lot of energy and higher goals in life. I tried all my best to make him happy but he is unhappy person. I am the one who does everything around the house which sometimes make me think like I'm a single mom! I feel like we don't love each other anymore. We haven't had sex for a while. We got to the point where we have no respect to each other. we can't even communicate properly! We haven't been talking for 3 weeks now. At the moment he is the one working and he has been giving me all the reasons why I shouldn't work. All I can think of is he is afraid I'll divorce him since I'll be making more money. He doesn't support or encourage me in anyway. Neither appreciate my effort to make him happy! He doesn't believe in divorce and He wants to continue pretending as if we're a happy couple to his family and others. I'm sick and tired of it! |

Posted: 09 Jun 2020 01:11 AM PDT we are both in our late 20's, the last time we had sex was June 2018 and six weeks later I found out that I was pregnant with our second child. Prior to that sex happened maybe one every 2 months. Last time we kissed was 4 years ago. I feel awful, I want passion and I know I'm holding back. But how do I let go? In the past I've felt like a *** dump because sex last maybe 5 minutes and he would come. I have no idea what orgasms feels like. It's gotten to the point where I'm bitter, im angry all the time. I don't want our kids seeing us that way, I just want a little bit of affection. |
