Posted: 05 Oct 2019 09:46 PM PDT My husband drinks a lot, rarely he comes back home at 10 PM, because of his drinking habit our relationship has become very sour. We argue a lot it's like I hate him and he hates me. Yesterday he took me out to the club where he usually drink and introduce me to his friends and acquaintance. Everyone told me to take care of him. To look after him. I felt a knock, the feeling of guilt as if it was because of me he was like this. Do I need to change??. There was another couple his friend married for 10years now. She asked him why does he drink so much and he said the my wife doesn't give me time. Now they are telling me to quit my job as it takes lot of time and look after him. She is a home maker and seems very much in love with her husband. Their love seemed too good to be true, catching hands, husband constantly attending to her. She is telling me be with him give him enough love, make him your first priority, leave your job and focus on him. I have lot of liabilities not with my husband but from my side. I have a niece who doesn't have anyone, I have been working since 20 yrs now and he was my boyfriend for 14yrs and I'm married for 5 yrs. I really want things to work but What should I do? |
Question: Do you think porn has devestating consequences? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 08:23 PM PDT Let's say the man is married. He gets into porn after the wife has settled down and had a kid w him. She doesnt agree with him watching it and demands he stops. He says he isn't doing anything wrong and refuses to stop. Has no remorse and prefers it. Wdy think about porn and ita affect on men? |

Question: For most people who want to get married do they like it when they do get married? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 02:52 PM PDT Im not with a husband now. I have two sisters who have been married three times each and once sister who divorced once and never remarried...they keep telling me that I should not even think about marriage because I will hate it. I know I will have a great husband and a happy life. Your thoughts.... |

Question: Lack of intimacy in marriage, what is normal? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 01:30 PM PDT I am a married woman in my 40s, my husband also in his 40s, we have been together for 9 years, and basically in the last 3-4 years (approx.) my husband hardly ever feels like having sex. We can be easily 6 weeks with no activity whatsoever and he looks unaffected. He has like a "very low libido", and, to be honest, that has become a turn-down for me and I reached a point that I got tired of "forcing" the situation to make our sex live more "live". I am a very energetic woman, and I think I am attractive; I do sports, I am fit. This situation has become very difficult for me at the point that I am beginning to have "eyes" for other men (even though I have not cheated at all). This has been my only marriage (so I can not compare with another marriage) and I always heard that it was typically the woman who ended up wanting lower frequency and the man more, so I really don't know what is going on here. He does not look like he has any other woman either; he does not look like he wants to leave me either. So,I am not sure if I became like his "mother figure" or what? I confronted him recently and told him that we look like a 80 year old couple, he does not say anything. This is very frustrating. |

Question: Did my wife cheat on me? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 11:27 AM PDT My wife and I both have blue eyes. Our child, however, has brown eyes. A lot of people said it is impossible for two blue-eyed parents to have a brown-eyed child. I really don't want to hurt her feelings by asking for a dna test. What should I do? |

Question: Wife/Gf of soon 10 years won't let me divorce her. What do I do? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 08:08 AM PDT I've been together with my wife for almost 10 years, and married for almost 5 of them. She's foreign, and I see clear evidence of narcissistic tendencies with her. 1) She blames me for her hitting, screaming, pinching and abusing me. 2) Tells me that the decission for divorce is hers and not mine. 3) Threatens to expose me to friends, family and friends. 4) Tells me that I'm crazy and need to see a psychologist. 5) Unable to reason rationally (always brings up old conflicts, irrelevant conflicts, threatens me with divorce, starts a tirade if I agree with it) 6) Lacks self awareness and see herself as being "above" me. I tried to tell her several times that we should split up and that she should go back to her country. But she keeps telling me that I need to shut up, listen to her and allow her to decide when it's over. My opinions, views, values, needs, feelings and individual rights are always being dismissed. Because in a narc's eyes, we are an extension of themselves there to provide narcissistic supply, and nothing else. How do I proceed? Anyone been through a divorce with a narc? |

Question: Fiances mom monitors his accounts. What to do? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 03:55 AM PDT So, I basically found out that my fiances mom is monitoring his accounts ( since he was a teen) and the moment he withdrew money she called to see what was going on and put money in them. I truly love her but that bothered me. We are both 27 and in school and he feels like she is entitled to do so since she is providing some support. I on the other hand thinks it's not necessary and needs to stop but I don't want to cause tension between us. Now, he feels like less of a man and I really hurt his feelings which weren't my intentions. Any advice. |
