She was like this before my parents split up. I will not go through details. She wasn t always this way. She was an outgoing, sweet, strong, beautiful and amazing mother. She loved to sing, dance go out on outings and all that kind of stuff. She was always there for my brother and I when we needed her and was there for my dad. My mom and I had a lot of mother/daughter outings and she was like my best friend, well still is. I was 18 and my bro was 23 when my parents split. I feel like I should just give up, but I can t do that. She is my mother. I m planning to go see my mother for the holidays. Last time my other aunt said she and my mom are doing ok which is good. We're not giving up on my mommy. We'll never forgive ourselves if we did.

I just got my new iMac 27 inch Late 2009 off ebay and i took it out of the package and i was running downstairs to my room with the computer in my arms and i tripped and i dropped the computer and it smashed on the floor and the screen is horribly cracked and you can barely even see the screen when the computer is on

My favorite mother/daughter thing I did with my mama was going to the mall to shop, going to the movies, music and going to the park. I also loved sitting outside to chat with her in the backyard and sit in our old swing chatting. When I went to visit her, her and I danced to some music. I can't wait to see my Mama soon. She has been saying that our entire lives. Zoom through a bunch of years... now we are here today... My oldest sister which is a devil had bullied my mother into selling my "sisters-guarantee'd to receive building" all ready for a quick buck because she likes to sponge off my mother and never worked a day in her life. Now she is trying to sell my building and my mother is going for it. She literally bullies my mother into doing it and my mother listens to her only and does not bat an eye to anyone else demanding her to stop. I am so sick of this because these buildings were a massive part of my childhood and my disgusting sister has sold already one to make a quick buck which she blew all the money too and wants to sell the last building in Brooklyn to our name which my parents bought in 1962. All the tenants in the building pay and all the stores in the building pay monthly and my sister is lying to my mother saying they are not and we need to get rid of the building asap. Please, someone, give advice on what to do. I literally can't sleep over this.

My wife's mother bought a new computer so she could email her friends, get on FACEBOOK, and sell and buy stuff on EBAY. Her mother did not know how to use a computer so she asked me to train her to use a computer and I did. She spent a lot of time on her computer and really enjoyed it. This has caused a unexpected problem. My wife tells me every time she goes to her mom's house, her mom is watching porn on her computer. My wife does not want me to go to her moms house unless she is with me. I will do as my wife ask so there will not be a problem. My wife told me that since I caused this problem by training her mother to use the computer, I should convince her mother to stop watching porn on the computer. I don't know how do to that. Anyone have any ideas? I am not sure I should be telling an adult what they can watch on their computer. Should I? I did not tell my wife's mother anything about porn sites on the Internet.

So I'm a 23 year old guy and I plan on having kids of my own one day..but this post isn't about me. My 25 year old sister gave birth to her first child yesterday, my newborn nephew. Anyways what are ways I can become a good uncle? I am real close with my sister so I will be around her and her son most of the time. Any advice for a first time uncle?

If a answer is correct i will mark it a five star. My phone has been missing for about a month. Not in my room because we just reorganized the whole room to get me a whole new bed and decided to move stuff around. Its an iPhone 6 not in a bulky case. Other then my room there is my grandmas room ( probably not in there ;-; ) the living room ( where i lost my phone but we have searched the couch and cant see it or feel it ) the dining room, kitchen, and my moms room ( we didn't reorganize her room just added a new bed). Im desperate here i have been phone-less for about a month just on my computer. Do you know what to do when your baby brother is watching a baby show and you have nothing to do but bring your bulky computer there????

I ve been living with my sister and her family for a year. However, my sister s husband and I got into an argument about something stupid. He helped me get a job interview and when I got the job, he started rambling and yelling that I shouldn t "make him look bad" since he helped me get the interview. This went on for a couple days. I took this as harassment and ignored him. I ignored him for nearly a month. As the month was coming to an end, my sister came to me and told me that HE said I had an ultimatum (don t know why he could never speak for himself) the ultimatum was to speak to him or he would no longer accept monthly payment from me and I would be evicted. Which doesn t make sense since our agreement was to pay my portion of the rent which is $400, no matter what. I have never missed a payment nor have I ever paid incrementally. Can he really be that petty and butt-hurt to do this? I have no defense from my sister whatsoever so I may be left with nowhere to go.

Ok so there's this missing boy that looks just like my dad as a kid. My dad also looks older then what he is . he does not look like his siblings or parents . when I asked my dad about what he did when he was a kid he says he only remembers bits and pieces what should I do !!!

I cant tell is my dad really loves me and my mom and my sisters. That's what he says but, he's never shown it. He's hit my mom and abused me and my sisters and continued to have sex with my mom even when she told him to stop. I love my mom and my sisters and I would never scream in their faces or hurt them. My dad said he loves us and that we are his whole world and I know that that sounds manipulative but my dad is really stupid so I don't know if he's capable of doing that. So with that in mind, a slice of humble pie, I'm looking for examples of changes a person made or boundaries they now have that protect them from narcissistic abusers they have to be around such as family members.for example recently I realized i can be less emotionally reliant on my parent and just take more responsibility in my life, rather than looking for parent or someone who is unfit to make evry deicison for me. So my uncle and his ex met in another country. They had 2 kids (one is 14, one is 8) They never got married. They had some relationship problems so they broke up. I've known my uncles ex for almost 10 years and she's lived with us for all that time along with her youngest son. The other son is in a different country. My uncle has a new girlfriend now. So is my uncles ex girl still considered my aunt even if both her sons are my cousins? I never really called her Aunt cuz I got used to calling her by her first name

My father was never really in my life. I don't see why he think I'm wrong for not answering his calls when he was never there growing up for me or my sister even though we were his kids. He lives in another city and has a wife and they have like ,5 kids! Well only the younger two are his but still he has another family and left us. My older brother (,my mom's 1st kid) dad was in my life more than he was but still he was in and out of jail and he's not my father either. I wish I knew what a real father was because honestly mine was never there for us.. its hard for me to even talk to him, I actually don't talk to him.

My cousin just turned 17 on Friday and he wanted nothing for his birthday. His HS gf died 6 months ago. He was driving his father's vehicle (he had his license), a drunk driver caused the accident. He survived with a couple injuries but his gf died in his arms. It was his first gf, his first relationship. How long does it take for a HS guy to get over a gf's passing? He still seems affected and with guilt. Sometimes he cries himself to go to sleep. His GPA have dropped too.
