When we met, we didn't get along at first but after a few weeks we really grew to like each other. We had a connection I've never felt in anyone ever since. After a month of knowing her, we had become boyfriend and girlfriend. This lasted for about six months and were great as far as I'm concerned. We both loved being around each other and she'd always tell me how much I meant to her. Then after six months, she became distant from me and we began to talk less. After a few months, I found out she was dating someone else. Of coarse, I did not take this well but was still willing to stay friends with her. For the past few months, we haven't talked as often as we use to. She is still dating the other guy though they've broken up a few times. Whenever we talk, she always responds in simple texts and I always have to start the conversations. If my texts aren't questions, she would read my text without responding. I would then send her a text asking what's wrong and she would again read it without replying. I'm very confused as to how a girl who use to be so open with me has now become very cold. I've approached her many times about this but she doesn't want to talk about it. I still care a lot about her and don't want to lose her but if this keeps up, I don't know what I'll do. Texting her is no longer fun. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? If so, can you please help me figure out how to regain our friendship? |

Well freshman year hit me like a truck. I had heard about getting fat at college but I wasn't prepared for it and hadn't really worried only thinking I'd gain 10lbs at most. I finished the year 80lbs heavier weighing 245lbs. Over the summer I've tried losing weight but I cant. I've tried so many things so I've just started accepting myself and loving my body despite my weight even though I know it's unhealthy so don't lecture me on that please. I tried cardio and I can only walk a little while before my thighs get raw from rubbing together and jogging hurts because my whole body is jiggling and bouncing. My underwear hardly fits along with all my clothes. I can't see my toes either. When I sit down my belly sits in my lap and gets all rolled up. I have love handles too and my back has some rolls. My thighs are huge too...Idk I should stop roasting myself. Just trying to paint the picture because I want u guys to be completely honest if you would still find me attractive. I ended up taking a before picture just to compare it to after the year if I did gain any weight and what the difference would look like. Opinions please. |

At the beginning of this week, my boyfriend went back to his home country for the rest of winter break (he's an international student from Japan). Before he left, he gave me his email address so I could email him, since cell phones obviously wouldn't work overseas. The thing is, I've emailed him twice (not on the same day, of course), and I have yet to receive a reply from him. It's entirely possible that he doesn't check his email too frequently, or just gets so caught up in other things that he is entirely consumed by what he's doing and oblivious to anything else (I would know, he's practically impossible to reach when there's an exam or when it's finals week, as he pulls all-nighters just to study). I guess I just need some reassurance is all. When we hang out, he's so loving and attentive, and always answers my texts (when he's here in the States for school, of course). I should add that he's not very experienced with girls (he's only had one girlfriend before me, and it wasn't a very long or serious relationship) and he's even openly told me that he's sorry for any communication issues that we may encounter, as English isn't his first language. What should I do? I won't be seeing him until the semester starts, which is about another two weeks :/ |

Now, I have the depth of personality to interest a girl, I can hold conversations, I'm intelligent, I'm funny and confident when I know someone. But physically, I don't know.
