We both got married 2 years ago and we have a 4 month old. We aren't financially stable. He got let off work a while ago and we don't have a source of income. I would've went out and looked for work if I didn't have a baby to look after. We don't go shopping much and there isn't much left after the week is over. I cook what I can and we eat together. He comes into the kitchen and starts looking at everything and than complaining that he spent a $100 on groceries that week and how we ran out so fast and how I eat all the food and how I've gotten so fat. Hes the one who can't find a job and he's letting out the frustrations on me. I have a 4 month old to deal with on my own, I don't need him to put me down on top of it all. He never helps with his child.

I can't believe he's telling me all of this...I understand I need to help him with bills once we are married but it now?! He told me he would be able to pick me up on my first stop at the plane in case I go alone but now he said he won't be able to go pick me up. That I need to learn to go on my own. Seriously? Don't you think he should pay for the civil wedding?! He said he's not going to maintain anyone. What would you do iN this situation? Btw I'm 27 and he's 29 

It is my first marriage; my intended spouse is another man. My cousin, somewhat conservative, nevertheless gets married, cheats, and then marries the new woman. He then repeats the cycle. I, on the other hand, am 50 years old and have never cheated in my life.

My husband is 29 and I'm 27...we've been together 10 years. He's a reckless spender but we made a lot of money and have no kids so it never seemed so bad. I don't make as much as him but I've always been a saver. Recently We lost EVERYTHING bc of his bad decision on a business deal that I told him not to go thru with. I told him not to do that bc it makes no sense & he's only doing it to spite his dad And WE don't even have a car! He ofc got mad and I know he's going to go thru with it. At this point I'm just sick of him. He does whatever he wants and Im just over it I can't even look at him without being irritated bc I tried so hard for so long but I give up. Is this relationship pointless now? I'm crying now bc I can't deal with him anymore.

So, my friends dont want to be married. They dont want a child cuz it will ruin their future dream to go to graduate school and become a doctor or lawyer. I tell my friend in English that marriage does bring challenges in taking care of a child and the constant fighting and reconciling with your wife. BUT marriage makes your life feel ''settled." Is this how you say it in English? You get to have your own car, you dont have a personal future but it feels like you now possess your own child, your own home. You dont feel you need to take tests and try to move around finding a new girl or guy since ur married. Things just feel ''settled.'' Whats the right English term? How do you explain this in English?
