Question: Should I have handled this work situation differently ? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 04:04 PM PST I was casually talking with a coworker about a news crew that was in our factory, and I'd asked him who they were. He said he didn't know but he said that he saw a n******. I sternly told him not to ever say that to me again. I pulled my manager aside and told him what happened but to not address it because I was concerned about retaliation. My manager did in fact bring it to his superior and they both told me they were addressing it and not to worry about any retaliation. Did I do the right thing or should I have not said anything? |
Question: Why is it hard for me to move on? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 01:59 PM PST 3 weeks since I moved out of mine and my exes condo. He was controlling. I couldn't go to my friends house and if I left the house he'd text and call constantly. I couldn't get a car because he wanted me to only use his car? He accused me of cheating even though I've done nothing for him to think so. Hes thrown my phone. When I try to express how I feel without arguing he gets extremely angry and punches holes in walls, breaks things, throws things. Screams at me until he loses his voice. I stay quiet in fear and he gets even more mad. I stayed with him for a year because I did love him. There were good times. I thought he'd change and I could fix him. He tells me about how he lost his best friend and things his childs mother has done to him in the past. I felt bad for him. He'd call me names and i ended up saying sorry everytime. Hed have these outbursts in front of his kid and say its my fault that im messing him up. Kids mom is the same way. His kid is extremely disrespectful and cries constantly and I see why. Ive spent so much money on him cause hed always ask and Id always say yes. His mother takes her sons side and deleted me off everything except his sister who I think understands me. I for some reason cant move past it and want them to see what damage hes caused because they dont know the full extent and what I've tried to do for him. I even tried reaching out after saying I still loved him and would do anything for him and want to help and he blew up on me. I always thought it was my fault and he'd tell me I need help and to change...I'm just really confused on how I feel. |

Posted: 04 Feb 2020 05:35 AM PST Before you judge me or say their is other fish in the water.. I want you to hear me out. I been curious forever. I thought it was just a passing phase. Well after years of men not treating me right I think its time for me to explore me. I'm 35 female who needs some advice. Anyone out their who have questioned their own sexual preference before? They said their is prince out there for you what about a princess. I would love to hear stories etc. Please be real and no creepers :) |
Question: Have you ever given your spouse/partner a really cheap gift? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 10:19 PM PST What did they say? How did they react? Or have you yourself received one? What was it and how did you feel? |
Posted: 03 Feb 2020 09:37 PM PST Its just sex or romance to a lot of guys. As ladies we naively think if we feel a sex or romance connection that it means we will be together for life. |
Question: Do you know/encountered people who don't celebrate Thanksgiving? What were their reasons? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 07:01 PM PST How about you? If you don't celebrate it, why? |

Question: Do men take the time to write friendship letters to women? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 05:29 PM PST I got a heartfelt note from a close male friend of mine - shortly after he found out I was moving. It was not necessarily confessional about loving me more than a friend, but it definitely was sentimental, had genuine compliments/emotion towards me, and made me tear up. It was a letter of appreciation and love, but not a direct confession or anything. Still requires courage and vulnerability to write something really thoughtful though. My question is - can this be purely a friendship letter? I have never heard of men taking the time to write a woman a letter unless it is a love letter. |
