This isnt strange becuase she is currently renovating a house. So that I day I went back to her deparment to look for something I wanted to buy. So while I was back there shopping I noticed she started patting her knee. Which was strange and I didnt think nothing of it at the time. Also I didnt see her hit her knee on anything. So its werid that once she saw me she started patting her knee. I think she was trying to cover up the paint spot. Does it seem like she was self concious about ? Plus why would she care if I saw it or not. It wasnt a big deal. |

We work in different depts and our work doesn't overlap. I've been at the company about 4 months and initially would catch him looking at me here and there. He's got a few close colleagues and is generally cordial but largely keeps to himself, isn't super extroverted or anything. We spoke briefly a month ago at a small gathering. He sat beside me and I initiated conversation. Just talked about usual stuff – work, settling in etc. He suddenly asked me if I am married, which I thought was a bit odd but brushed it aside and answered that I wasn't, I like my freedom now. Was also surprised to find out I'm mixed ethnicity n that we're around the same age. He can be quite brusque at times and tends to ignore people he isn't close to, but is rather chatty to those he is. I've noticed that he ignores me whenever we are having huge company gatherings lol but will stare at me (and hold eye contact) when it's a small group or just the both of us. Have also noticed gentlemanly behaviour towards me – holding doors, shifting chairs out of my way etc. We are now in an open office and we sit quite far away from each other. But I've noticed him looking in my direction a few times. He doesn't say hi when we meet though, but he holds my eye contact and recently starting smiling widely at me – something I initiated recently lol. And I do the same. Because we are in a professional environment, I don't know… should I speak first? Your thoughts? |

Don't lower my standards, and know full well ill probably never get who i want, and be alone for ever. Please- No religious baloney answers. i'm a 31 yr old, fat, ugly, depressed male, and suffer from social anxiety, and anxiety in general. I have never been on a date, due to fear of rejection, a total lack of self esteem and confidence, and focusing mainly on my career. To make maters worse, i watch way too much porn, and have become super shallow. Having never been in a relationship or even a damn date, i cant even comprehend or fathom the idea of even considering dating an ugly or fat woman. To me a good relation ship relies heavily on good sex, and i cant and don't think ill ever be able to understand how "personality" can make up for being hideously obese. I just cant see it. Being fat and ugly and short at 5'7" ( yes thats short in the USA), having a boring personality, being afraid of rejection and being depressed, self loathing and shallow, i hold no illusions about what i CAN attract vs What i want. Top it off i have some very kinky fetishes i doubt many women are into, from what I've read Psych therapy doesn't work on eliminating unwanted fetishes. Ive been seeing shrinks for years and have more or less lost all hope of ever being able to find the woman i want. With that said, wouldn't anyone who has read this agree option 1- Suicide, is the best option? To me being lonely forever is a fate worth than death. And i dont think i can ever lower my standards or stop being shallow. I have the means to end my life painlessly, i dont give a crap about how others get affected. IM im agony living alone, and have no hope, so suicide is the best. Thank you to anyone who doesnt respond in a nasty way or with religious mumbo jumbo And no, i don't hate women or hold it against them or expect them to want me. Im ugly and shallow and i know thats being a beggar and wanting to be a chooser. So , no i don't feel owed a hot woman.
