Question: Do You think my brother is jealous because I have a girl now? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 02:16 PM PST I've bed. Going out with her since October. I was talking about my plans for Valentine's Day, and he walked out of the room. He recently broke up with gf. And I've also noticed when ever my other brother talks about getting married to his fiancé that he tried changing the subject. He's 23 and I'm 21. I understand maybe his break up is getting to him and it's tomorrow's bday but I didn't do anything to him , my other 26 year old bro is the same way. He can brag about all of the good things going for him, but when you have positive things to say for yourself then he changes the subject And never congratulate . This is why I sometimes hate having brothers they are so negative and want to be better than u all the time. Well not my brother that is getting married, he's the only cool one haha. |

Question: Why did my relative say this to me? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 01:14 PM PST My relative asked about my goals for my future. I have never dated before so this is going to be my first time. One of my goals I told her was I want to find/ have a relationship with a nice/kind guy that has a College degree and who is financially stable. Then she shook her head and said "No, I don't think so." "This will not happen to you." I don't understand why would she say this to me. I also have a College degree. |
Question: My sister is an absolutely horrible person. Why should I associate with her? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 11:26 AM PST |
Posted: 13 Feb 2020 11:22 AM PST Usually when she has falling outs with her family they exclude me for however long the estrangement lasts. I miss out on time with the rest of the family cause they exclude me. What do I do? Easter is the next celebration. |
Question: Is it weird that my mom puts sunscreen on my dad while she is on top of him? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 10:09 AM PST Is it normal because she is like on top of him. When she puts it on me I just sit. |
Question: Could my friends get in trouble? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 10:06 AM PST Me and my friends went to a concert and we are all 17 and they have fake IDs they got from some company to make them look like their 21 and the admission people asked to see our IDs when we went in like they do for everyone and they didn't believe my friends were 21 even when they showed the fake IDs and they took my friends IDs and asked them to read the address and they couldn't and then they just took the fake IDs and didn't give them back, and they showed their real IDs and we got in, what did they do with the fake ones |

Question: Life abroad and family back home? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 07:37 AM PST I moved to Brazil in Feb '18 to live with my Brazilian wife who I met in London. She's 34, I'm 30. My family in the UK were super close and always did everything together.. then, I met this woman and everything changed. I find myself now in a situation where, here in Brazil, although we have a good life as freelancers and are trying to establish ourselves better financially before having a kid or 2.. I feel like I'm missing everything back in the UK. My nan is turning 80 later this year and my sister is arranging a big surprise birthday party.. my nan is also selling her pub that she's owned for the best part of 50 years.. I won't be able to help with the move and celebrate that end of the chapter with her. My mother passed away to cancer last year of which I took 2 emergency trips to the UK that were SUPER expensive.I wasn't there for the whole of this episode apart from the beginning and the end.My sister has a daughter.. I'm missing my niece grow up. I'm just sat here like "Hey, everything's great.. we work from home.. yay!" You know what I mean?My wife tells me I'm getting bitter towards everything.. I feel it. I openly express how annoyed I am a lot and have lost my peaceful character that would always be kind and caring with a love of meditation and relaxation. Like.. I can't relax in fear that this situation is just gonna eat away at me for the rest of my life or until I can earn enough money for us to be able to move back to the EU. Any advice?? |

Question: How do I handle the in-laws coming? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 05:44 AM PST Been with my man for 4 years his family includes his single mother, 23 yo brother and 20 yo sister. I have gotten along with the family for the most part, we are different people. His mom has never been married, never needed a man, drinks and smokes for her own company and entertainment. She's not social nor goes out/has many friends.. the brother is different.. he has some social issues so all he does is play video games and never clean up after his self (like he doesn't know how!!) The sister hasn't even graduated high school and is straight up disrespectful. She's had her days with me when she tries to be nice, but for years I've been nothing but nice and giving and she doesn't respect me at all. The girls never even addressed me by my name. We got a new house, we want to invite his family over for a weekend since we have so much room and they seem obligated to come. They also helped move us in, and also we lived on and off at his moms along with his family for about a year so shes always welcomed me. I don't want to see "too good for them" or a "nose up *****" when they come but I can't stand messes, I will not be disrespected in my house by his sister! I'm really hoping they don't bring their homelife to my home.. I want them comfortable but it will make me want them to go? |

Question: What did I get myself into? Help!? Posted: 12 Feb 2020 10:20 PM PST My 30 year old brother was very devastated because he had just lost his job. There was a position at my job & I knew that if I asked my boss to hire him, he'd totally get the job. My brother said that nothing would make him happier than to get the position. He got in. Not in my wildest dreams did I EVER imagine the stress that awaited. My super ungrateful, mean, disrespectful, arrogant brother has been terrible to me!! I'm training him & he ignores me, yells at me, puts me down & says bad words to me!! This is horrible because he doesn't even care to do it in front of my boss!!! Mind u, nobody had ever been disrespectful to each other at the office! I'm super stressed out, I can't take it any longer & it's only been 9 days! I'm at the point where I think I'm going to just tell my boss that I'm quitting. I'm so embarrassed!!! My OWN brother treats me like absolute **** at a job that I got him! I have cried, I have begged him to respect me & he doesn't. I'm fearing going back to work because my OWN brother is like a bully to me at my job where I'm HIS manager!!!! I don't know what to do! Any advice?? Please! |

Question: Why are some sisters so reluctant to show affection towards their brothers? Posted: 12 Feb 2020 04:37 PM PST I'm just curious. Like my sister for instance I know she loves me. But she's weird in that she doesn't want to hug me in front of our parents. She tries to keep me at a distance. I'm 30 and she's 32. |
Question: What’s your opinion? ? Posted: 12 Feb 2020 03:50 PM PST Do you have to tell your step kids you love them? Sometimes I say it and they don't say it back, so I feel it's best if I just stop saying it. :( it's hard being a step mom. |
Question: Is my mom being trying to take over my pregnancy or am I being hormonal? Posted: 12 Feb 2020 03:24 PM PST I'm carrying my moms first grandchild due in April. She's been very supportive but I'm starting to feel like I gave her too much rope. First she insist on calling my son by a name I do not like but she likes. I repeatedly correct her but she says she can call him whatever she likes. We went for a 3D ultrasound and in my opinion my son looks exactly like his dad. The ultrasound tech even said he has big hands. JUST like his dad does. My mom starts going around telling ppl my son looks like her when HE DOES NOT. My sons dad is also white we are black. My son has literally no lips JUST LIKE HIS DAD and she insist he has her house.. I'm like HE HAS NO LIPS! My mom and I got black lips. Especially me. It's honestly starting to annoy the heck outta me. She's also extremely religious and I'm not so she insist that I pray to him every night I politely say that's not gonna happen then she gets all heated saying my son might come out demonic if I don't. She also tell ppl how my son feels and what food he likes me eating EVEN THOU IM THE ONE CARRYING HIM. The OB touched my stomach and my son started moving a whole lot and she's like "omg he doesn't like you" I said he does that to every doctor she insist that she knows what he's thinking I can literally feel my face boiling when I'm around her. I've been told hormones can be a factor but like c'mon. |
