My friends bday is in less than 3 weeks. Its on st Patty's day. So as a pre gift I got her a st Patty's day scarf and st Patty's day earrings that I'll probably give to her the day b4. And for her bday I got a couple small things favorite pen. Now for the big/main gift. I'm trying to decide between getting her something like a bracelet that will commenrate her 1st npc competition with a weight charm since she loves weight lifting, or a bracelet with her name and a weight charm, or maybe a set of purple French confetti nail strips (which she said she loved when she saw me wearing them) and a purple sparkly dip since she likes sparkly, or a water bottle that I'll have all the nick names shes called me in purple on the top and at the end of the top part either put "may just all be fun names", "to you may just all be fun names", "to you may all just be fun names", or "may all just be fun names". Then the bottom half put in blue and start with either "To me they mean everyrhing", "To me they mean a lot", "To me they mean a whole lot", "To me they mean so much". So ive known her since Nov 11 of 2019. I met her family the first time I went to her church Feb 2 this year. Which gift idea do you like best as the big gift? Or do you like all of them? If you think the water bottle is the best idea, which wording should I use? She does have a water bottle that she has stickers on, so my hope is if I do the water bottle she'll either use both or transfer her stickers to the water bottle. I'm just really not enjoying uni and I don't know what to do. I'm in first year and I've made some friends, but not many. I'm really close with one of my flatmates but whenever she's away for the weekend, it just ends up with me sat in my room alone all weekend. I wanted to defer a year because I knew I wasn't in the right place mentally to come to uni this year but I left it too late. So, having started uni with bad mental health, it's only getting worse. I've started eating my feelings and sleeping like 12-14 hours a night, not getting up until 2/3pm. I'm studying law, and I'm so behind on all my work. Basically, I'm just not in a great place right now, and I want to transfer universities, but I've already signed off on my flat next year, and it's just me and one other girl and I feel I can't let her down by dropping out, else she'll have no one to live with. It's reached the point where I'm literally counting down the days to graduation, which isn't for another 3 years. I just feel like I'm wasting my teenage years shut up in my room every weekend, and I used to go clubbing all the time at home, but all of my friends here don't drink/aren't interested in clubbing. I just want to meet some likeminded people to make the next few years less painful but I don't know how :(

I am a doctor. I like a girl who's my friend. I noticed that when she has a problem she calls for my help,when she's got some trouble she calls me,be it 2:00 AM or 2:PM. I'm the one she calls when there's trouble. Occasionally we hang out even when there aren't troubles and I gotta admit we have fun but I noticed that the only times she's eager to text or call me is when she needs something. AND that sometimes if while we're doing something together and one of their friends comes along I'm being ignored by her. Lately she ain't got real problems so she texts me way way less and when I do text her I can feel a mile away that she's not that eager to talk to me...but I'm damn sure that when she'll have some trouble (also medical related) I'm the one she'll call. What would you do? We haven't talked in about 5 days. What would you do?

This guy and I met online he lives in Chicago and I'm in Michigan we live 4 hours away. Right now with my work schedule, I can only see him every two weeks for 8 hours. But eventually, I'll get to see him more often.  @Susie: That's what I'm trying to do but I think he wants more.

So me and my friend were in the hallway of our dorm and one of our other roommates came out and we started talking to her ( mainly me because I'm more outgoing lol ) about halfway through she turns to my friend and was like "you are literally SO pretty!!" And then she was like "all my friends are so pretty and started motioning to the door because she had another friend and her room and I think she motioned to me but idk .  I felt kinda out of place so I was like "except me lol" and she changed the subject and started talking abt something else. So did she think I was pretty too lol or was she just talking about my friend and her other friend  She said this while high lol idk if that had something to do with it but Ik high people tell the truth 

I don't want to be rude by not talking to her but I don't want to be too friendly and she gets me into trouble and create drama.  

I dont know what to do anymore im starting to realize weird energy around my bff. only time we hang out is when she wants me to come to job interviews with her which i always do. It feels like were business pathners then bffs. She never just wants to hang out and have bff time if its not convenient for her. Another thing is Everytime were together its silent and feels awakard i have to always bring up the conversation for us to talk. If i dont talk first it will just be silent. Also i remember a time i got into a big argument with a girl, the girl thought i was talking to her boyfriend which i wasnt. The girl doesnt like me till this day. My so call best friend starts talking to the female i had got into an argument with saying she seems like a cool person and how beautiful she was to her. Then i start telling her how the girl didnt like me. She startd blaming me saying im over exaggerated and it wasnt even like that. a bff shouldnt be friends with a girl who i had a big argument with. Another thing everytime we talk i always tell her stuff like bff should. she Always replies with me too, or same here it always turns back to her. Another thing is she always talks about how im the only friend she ever had. She tries to make it seem like they all were fake and wasnt real friends, she always says every friend she had always stop talking to her first. She plays victim like she hasnt did anything to them. Im starting to believe shes telling one side of a story. One more thing the time i had other friend people always told her that she copies me or follows me she repeats everything i say and also tries to act like me. Help ?

two months ago, I tagged ten people from my High School Circle in an inappropriate post because I thought it was funny but 5 got mad and I deleted it. The psot was a private part shaped workout stuff. I thought it was really funny but they were offended I tagged them. Anyway I said Sorry in the groupchat and told them I won't do it again. However up to now, they have been ignorin every message or conversation i try to start in the groupchat. Even Plans. I asked on person who I'm really close to and he said maybe it;s because I tagged them in that inappropriate post two months ago. IT'S BEEN TWO MONTHS AND THEY ARE STILL MAD AT ME. I ALREADY GAVE A SORRY. In short, my friends are mad at me Still for tagging them in an inappropriate post two months before.

I love my best friend so much but its just like we're not like we used to be. she barely visits me and spend time with me like she used too. Every time I talk to her she always brags on herself, she always talks about how she have guys stalking her when clearly the guys she thinks stalking her blocked all contact with her. another thing is my birthday is coming up and i showed my friend my outfit that i'm wearing a week later she shows me a outfit similar to mines but it looks 10X better. And shes talking about how shes Going to wear makeup and going to look so beautiful on my birthday. I think shes trying to compete with me on my own freaking birthday. lately when i do meet with her its like she haves a nasty attitude and always have negative responses. when i'm with her i'm starting to feel uncomfortable its like weird energy and somethings been going on weird about her. lately i been telling her stories about my life she always tries to compare herself with me or she copies me or always have a similar story to mines. i even feel uncomfortable telling her my success because when i do tell her about it she always turn the convo back to her or starts talking about her success. not giving me feedback on mine. And every time we go out all she cares about is getting attention from guys she says things like when i go out and look good all the attention gone be on me. She even says mean things like she cant hang with ugly or fat girls. She always says shes happy i'm pretty help ?

In January I added a girl in my suggested on instagram. We started to like and comment on each other's posts and stories. Then, we added each other on Snapchat. We message sometimes back and fourth. Simple surface chats, some flirting, etc. today, she initiated contact and she sent me a mirror selfie. I can assume she's interested, right? We have never met face to face but we life in the same city and we are about the same age. Early 20's. What is my next step and how can I keep this going? What kinds of things should I be asking her? I like her a lot and I think she would potentially make a good girlfriend or if not more she's really cool and maybe she would be a cool friend to have who lives close.

I got a good friend of mine from school and basically all of his friends became my friends, some of which are from school and some from his neighborhood. I don't live too far away so I used to go in his neighborhood and chill back in the day so we all became very good friends. My home friends were mostly trouble makers and not really up to date on stuff so I found myself hanging around all of this particular dude's friends. Well he went to away to university and would visit twice a year. We would all hang out whenever he came back until he left. Whenever he wasn't around I would still go and visit and hang out with the friends in his neighborhood, we would go clubbing, etc. We have history because we all been doing this for years and years, hanging out, planning parties, sometimes they would come visit me, etc. Now he's back from studying fulltime and it's as if he gets mad when I come around, sort of as if I'm stealing all the attention or something. I gave it the benefit of the doubt for a while but I decided to back off from them and leave him with his friends. I mean after all, we are all friends. But why's he mad? I can tell he is. He was like a brother to me.
