My step daughter is only 10 years old and her family constantly talks about her body parts, specifically her butt. Her aunts and cousin tell her that she should be proud of it and that many women pay to have a butt like hers. She has my step daughter bragging about it and telling other girls that they're jealous of it. I see this as a problem, you don't talk about a 10 year old's body parts. Of course I want my step daughter to be confident, but I don't want her trying to get attention the wrong way. This can be a problem when she gets to middle school and high school. My Wife agrees with me, but will not confront her family about it. I think she thinks I'm making too much of it, but I've seen how girls that want attention in the wrong ways act when they're teens. Am I overreacting?

So the dog died a while ago but everytime I think of him I think of how neglected he was.  Background info: My mother is a woman who came to America from a third world country. Back in her country, she would get pets for my sister all the time and then end up abandoning them because no one really cared.  So when she moved to America she got a dog for my sister back in 2003.  So when mg mother lost her job she stopped bringing the dog to the vet. When he had health problems she would nurse him back to health herself.  So a lot of things happened to this dog due to neglect but i'll only explain 2. 1) when I was about 11 my nephews had to get a major surgery. The hospital was about an hour away and my mom was insistent on the whole family being there for them. So the dog has to be home alone but my mom didn't want to leave him in the house for days because he will poop everywhere. Instead of having a dog sitter she decided to leave the dog out in the backyard with food and water.  I begged her to let me stay home to watch him and I kept telling her that what she's doing is cruel but she insisted that I had to be there for my nephews. When we came home a few days later the dog was tired, panting, and had a hoarse voice.  2) This happened when I was around 14. The dog had a terrible tick infestation and was slowly dying. He had a nest of them on his back and he was starting to become skin and bones because they were eating him alive.  I'll continue this in an update, Hold on. Again, I beg her to bring him to a vet or surrender him. She refuses. A neighbor calls animal control and they force her to bring him to a vet and he survives and heals up. So the dog died a few years ago. Everytime I think of him I think of how awfully he was treated and I'm trying to forgive her but it's really hard.

I know it was wrong, I'm not hear to hear it. I get it. I won't ever do it again, but this past month my boyfriend got kicked out of his house and his mom took away all his money and car. He's 18 and I would pay like 20 a day for him to eat and etc.. I know it wasn't smart but I did it with my moms card. She now just realized and she's furious. I told her that it was paid back but she doesn't believe me.. any good excuses? Thanks. 

And don't tell me to go outside and get ambushed. I made this decision based on my hatred of humanity, society, and having no interest in living any amount of a so-called real life. I want to be in the family clan but because my parents hate parts of the family we have to miss family celebrations. This hurts me but they keep using me to get their enemies back.

I'm starting to feel like this is a toxic relationship.  I clean the house constantly, and do repairs because it's a fixer upper. My fiance doesnt help, sits in bed all day and is way too high strung for me to deal with. We stay in separate rooms, and I can only handle so much of her. She talks trash to me a lot just because I'm not that inti her 24/7. She gets jealous if I'm on my phone on social media. I feel like I want to live like a decent person, but she doesn't.  Another thing is she's draining lately. Way too high strung like cant sit still, and treats like a boy toy. So these are my complaints. Not sure what to do. I cannot afford to move out, nor want to because I'm doing several projects right now, and finally settled in.  I read to distance yourself from high strung people, so I did, and now she's being weird questioning our relationship as usual. She does not even have a job, and is a hypocrite to complain about me to her friends. It's her house, I pay rent.  She's not motivated in life and has a negative attitude. I'm unhappy with her obesity, and pig stide bedroom. Also lack of goals.  The insecurity is the biggest issue for me and talking trash. 

Or do I just act cordial like I would to stranger and then go back to being estranged. We have been mostly estranged for a year because I could not take her childish name calling and finally got mad at her.

My entire family (mother 59, sister 24, brother 16) is bullying me (22). I can't talk about nothing without getting interrupted, yelled or laughed at. Everyone always shut me down. My mom had been yelling at me to get a job and I finally got one and she said "why don't you do something else?" and brushed the subject away. It was insulting. My mom had also been yelling at me to move out and I also finally moved out and I told her and she just said "ok" without even looking at me. She can never encourage me, I don't understand. I am very lonely. I have no friends and very bad social anxiety. I can never get heard !! I have been a victim of bullying my whole life by everyone. I know that one of my main problem is that I'm just too nice and forgive everything. What can I do to stop/ break this cycle? Why my family doesn't care about me and my feelings? Help please ...Every advice is welcome

I want to be able to build my own gaming computer.  I first asked my older brother to help because he's built several computers, but he said he'd only teach me for $100.  He says he has to charge me because we're not close (we have different moms).  I know his cost isn't a ripoff, but instead I decided to take a course at local annex.   My brother is now acting I'm a choosing beggar, but I never said a thing to him complaining about him charging me.  I only said that if I was going to pay I'd take the class instead.  Was I wrong, do you think?

I'm very close to my neice (sisters daughter) who is almost 10yrs old, and still on a bottle. She drinks milk and they warm it up for her. When she comes to my mothers house i make it a priority to spend time with her and my mom. Recently my mom started hiding the bottle usage in front of me because she knows how much it bothers me to see that. On a recent visit I spoke up about how she's turning 10 in a couple months and it's ridiculous, traumatic and unrealistic for her to be on a bottle, and I couldn't believe my mom allows it too. my mom got mad and said I couldn't judge because I was on a bottle at 6 years old (it was FORCED by my mom and sister) They're trying to make believe that this child is still a little baby. And now I know that is true because I heard my mom say to my neice that she is "still a baby" after my neice asked my mom if it was wrong to drink the bottle still.  I'm even more scared to let my future children around my mother and sister. And I hate seeing my neice in this situation.  What are the long lasting effects mentally of this? 

She hates me because I am different. I grew up with learning disabilities and ADHD so do not seem cool. She only wants to be around cool people. She is obviously very immature but is 26. 

I wonder if they are attracted to this part of the country or is it just a matter of my room not being clean? My family members don't have it in their houses other then 1 cousin who told me she has it also but is moving.

I mean as in do they usually have a favorite child?  My parents have always said they loved my sister and I both the same but I always felt like that was a lie. She always seemed to be the "favorite" growing up and I still see it like that to this day. Do all parents pick favorites?

My mother always excuses her bullying me saying it is her period. The sister is in her 20s. I am mostly estranged from her now but I'm wondering if this argument has any merit to it. The sister can be real nice and she can also be horrible.

My husband easy influence by you tub talk. Those deal against  feminist got to his head. and start asking being women to cook daily, heat up food for him when he come home late, inform him when i need to laundry.  i had try to ignore those unreasoning talk. we don't have share account. I work full time job. My husband claim he cover mortgage and dining out expense,  and costco purchase. I had cover rest of expense .   I take care my all 4 boys, paid insurance, medical expense, bill for kids activity, clothes and more than 90% of food expense . now, We got Patio door broke over one year. i had decide make decision to have someone fix and not wait for him attempt fix since he is not home all and he doesn't care when it fix.  i got really frustrated when he start pick on me and said  to me that i am feminist.  He said to me he hate me or want to divorce me.   i had no words what to said to those immature action when come to marriage with 4 kids.  i simple asking him " are you man or not?"  since he against feminist and want to go transition way about man and woman's value.  I wonder   do man feel insult when hear  the question?  or he just too sensitive.  After all, i said it just inform that those immature action should not come from man. since he is 43 year old man with collage degree and  he is father of 4 boys. ( note i am not feminist, just wife without husband support and try to get thing done as needed)
