Question: Am I joining a man cult? MBMBaM Help!? Posted: 26 Feb 2020 06:10 PM PST So I have a close friend who I have gone on a large number of crazy adventures with. As I sit in my car outside an Indian Cusine restaurant, waiting to meet up with him for the first time in almost exactly 1 month, I had a moment to reflect on the circumstances of this particular hang out. In my passenger seat, there are two photos that I was asked to print out, both of our respective dads. I have no idea why I was asked to do it, but I agreed (but purposely chose a photo of my dad facing the wrong direction). I also am expecting to join my friend in what he cryptically called "A group where men help eachother become the best they can be" (and I had to really push for even these details). I am legitimately curious where this is going, and this friend has always been extremely trustworthy in the past (visited abandoned gold and silver mines, nuclear missile silos and more with no problem). My question, Brothers is: Am I about to enter into a cult and should I be sending details of my current location to my friends and family in case things go South? Thanks in Advance! Long Time Fan! Question: Does no one in my friend group like me, or am I just overthinking it? Posted: 26 Feb 2020 04:30 PM PST Hey everyone! I'm 16 and a sophomore this year. I was wondering if my friends are too nice to tell me that they don't like me at all?? Here's some background info. Basically, my main friend group seemed pretty stable at first, till I realized that no one actually likes eachother. Then, I became best friends with one of the "main members". She is awesome and I love her, but she keeps telling me that no one in the group likes me. I asked her if I should change or apologize, but she just said I shouldn't worry about it. Apparently, I'm "too loud" and "annoying" for them. I'm always one of the last people to know about parties or hangouts, and I always get this weird vibe that they are being superficial with me. Anyway: This girl tells me that she likes (some of) these people—yet whenever I bring up the current situation she says they are lame. Im so confused about where them and I stand! Im a very outgoing kind of person. I have lots of friends, but now I worried they might feel the same way. Please help! I'm very lost, and I don't want anyone to get hurt. What should I do? I'm* |
Question: Why are men cowards who can't be honest about how they feel? Posted: 26 Feb 2020 03:58 PM PST This guy keeps saying that he's interested in me and into me. But that he's been really busy I know a couple of weeks ago he was in the hospital because he had seizures. But why can't men just be honest and tell a woman he's really not into her? Why do men have to be cowards and not just be honest |

Posted: 26 Feb 2020 01:07 PM PST Lets say your friend starts dateing a pedophile/murderer/nazi/some other REALLY horrible thing. Would you stay friends with them? Yes or no and why? |
Question: Does my friend not like me? Posted: 26 Feb 2020 12:33 PM PST This friend I have doesn't like to tell me anything. Like ill ask her simple questions and she won't tell me like when i ask if she had a Valentine she says were not clise enough friends to tell me. Not saying she owes me an explanation but she always uses that excuse. She won't even let me know her Instagram cause we'e not "close enough friends". Also in class I change my seat and happen to be near her. She didn't want to sit there anymore because she likes to "work alone". That honestly hurt my feelings,it seems she doesn't even want to be near me. Am I being to sensitive and overthinkinhg it? |
Question: I need help with this ? Posted: 26 Feb 2020 12:24 PM PST Would it be lonely for someone to not have any friends? |
Question: What to do when someone is grieving ? Posted: 26 Feb 2020 11:37 AM PST So I have this roommate who usually doesn't reply when I say hi. Same **** today but now suddenly he got a call from some relative telling him his sister has died and that being very sad aside - I wonder if I should say anything or keep quiet? It would usually be a no brainers to comfort someone who's screaming in emotional agony and bawling his eyes out but since he seems to hate me idk if that's a good idea. What do y'all think I should do? |
Question: I am confused about my mom? Posted: 26 Feb 2020 10:41 AM PST So my mom raised me right, in a lot of ways I feel. I mean, we always had food and such. But one thing I can't shake is how she acts with my older brother who is 28. She constantly nags him about a girl who she doesn't like (and I really dont like either for that matter), telling him to break it off constantly over and over again and I'm dragged into the argument constantly. She views me as the "good child" who never caused any trouble, which is somewhat true. I've really never did anything too drastic. Its led to me being pretty cooped up in the house because she's always fearful (I'm 18) that if I get out I'll get sick, or someone will murder me or kidnap me, etc. And whenever a girl comes into my life, I cant date them. Why? Because the first thing she does a week afterwards is complains they're bad people. Every one of them. So because I dont want to "follow in my big brothers footsteps", and disappoint my poor mother, I dont date. Whenever i get a friend, she hates them too. "They're trouble" she'll say. "They're on drugs". When none of them were on drugs, in fact one was going through school to become a police officer and was on the straight and narrow path and clean cut. So I don't have friends because again, I don't want to disappoint my mom. And whenever I step a little out of this line and get out a bit, I get a flood of texts with crying emojis and saying "I'm so worried why aren't you responding" etc. What is your advice? Also, she will pick girls for me to go on dates with sometimes, and they're always the most boring, stale sheltered people you could possibly meet. No offense to them, but they're more like 85 year old librarians then people with life in them As soon as I step a little out of line and get out in the general public, pretty soon I get the line, "you're just like your brother." I just want to add my mother is a very sweet woman who will bend over backwards for people..but she's also very overbearing. Back when I was a kid, I wasn't allowed out in the backyard of my small rural town childhood home which was 100% safe because she was afraid. I couldn't go biking with my friends or any of that stuff. I was REALLY sheltered in those areas. |

Question: How can I get help for my 14 year old grand daughter? Posted: 26 Feb 2020 03:46 AM PST My grand daughter is under the impression that just because she has a password on her phone things she posts on instagram and other web sites that only the people she has allowed on her site will see what she has put on there. I have tried to tell her that once its out there any one any one can get it. She has watched your shows where people have been tken by others who say they are some one else or need money. She has no money but she is a very pretty young lady and her grandfather and I are very concerned that she may get into a bad situtation and need some advice on how to deal with this. If you could please help with this I would be an even bigger fan. Thank you Ginger and Ken Smieja |
Question: Do you think I deserved to be hit? Posted: 25 Feb 2020 08:07 PM PST I already feel that this was uncalled for but I wanna see what you think. So, over the summer I was living with a friend in a summer home. The summer home was owned by my friends father. Anyways, we all ended up going to this music festival. At this festival, I dropped a napkin on the ground and did not pick it up. A couple of minutes later this random guy came up to me, my friend and my friends dad. He started screaming at me and yelling about the trash, calling me names and swearing his head off. At the time, I was drunk as a skunk and just did not care. So I just told the guy "I no speak English" and I did so with an accent. I didn't want to argue or fight or do anything to draw attention to myself from bystanders. I also wasn't going to cooperate with the guy because he was rude. So anyways, he asked the group I was with if they would talk to me. So my friends dad said he would. So he came up to me and started to talk. The other guy was still there so I wasn't gonna respond in English because that would blow my cover. So again, I just said "I no speak English." My friends dad then grabbed my shirt, slapped me in the face and cussed me out. He explained that he was "teaching me to be a better American." By the way, this man has hit his ex girlfriend and has several misdemeanors. He is also a 54 year old pot head. He did not see me drop the napkin. That was the second time he had slapped me. |
Question: Is fortnite still popular? Posted: 25 Feb 2020 08:04 PM PST I was playing fortnite last night and no one is on mic and if they talk they are kids. What games are popular rn that have teens talking instead of toddlers or retarded high schoolers. I don't think anyone plays fortnite anymore. My brothers friends stopped and he stopped entirely. What happened and why is it so bad? No one talks, and it's boring. |

Question: How do you become best friends with someone again after you betray them? Posted: 25 Feb 2020 07:07 PM PST Months ago, I betrayed my very best online friend…for no reason. I came back to her and said I was sorry and I didn't know why I did that. Yeah, she forgave me but—we aren't best friends anymore, just friends. It's as if we barely know each other! So I asked her if we would ever be best friends again and she said if it happens, then it happens. So I don't know if that's true or not—don't you have to build the friendship? I want us to be best friends again badly but I just don't know how or what to do. |
