I went on a date friday night with someone I thought was definitely into me. She heard around work that I liked her and after she found out she started talking to me more, she started smiling everytime she saw me, whenever we would pass each other it seemed like we would stare or at least glance for a good amount of time at each other. The date went great I thought. We talked for a good 3 hours there. She never seemed uncomfortable, She laughed and she even invited me to her apartment afterwards. I think this is maybe where I ****** up. Her sister and friend showed up though because she lives with her and I got kind of quiet because I didnt know what the hell they were talking about half the time but she didnt ignore me she tried to get me in the conversation a couple times. Not going to lie I was bored a little bit but I was happy just to be there with her. I just hope it didnt show on my face that I was bored. She would even stare at me at couple times. I was there for maybe 1 1/2 to 2 hours and left and told her I had fun and we should do it again and she said yea with a smile on her face. On my way home she texted me thanking me again for dinner and then she text me that she wanted to be honest and that she wasnt sure she felt anything romantic towards me. The way the rest of the text sounded it sounded like she wasnt interested but still wants to hangout with me. She told me im really really great guy and wishes she felt something towards me. I was for sure she liked me  She was really great thats why im so upset about it.

To preface this, I am 24 and my brother is 26 years old. We have always been super close, and I have always considered him my best friend over anyone else. We have always done everything together—even through college we went to the same school and commuted together. In the last year, my brother has been in a serious relationship and will probably be getting married in the next year or so, and since he has basically forgotten that I exist. An ex of mine broke up with me ten years ago to be with another girl, who he is still with today. I have no desire to be in a relationship with my ex and have been in relationships with people I've cared about more since. But for some reason, it still bothers me every time his girlfriend posts pictures of herself hanging out with my ex and the friends I made through my ex on Facebook. I feel inferior to her because my ex loves her and cares for her in a way that he never cared about me. He bends over backwards for her, while he wasn't that considerate of me or my feelings the entire time we were together. In fact, I was there for him during a challenging time in his life, and he just stopped talking to me the minute this other girl showed up. Broke up with my ex about a year and 3 months ago. We had no contact until September of last year in which she initiated and apologised for her behaviour as a recent breakup had made her realise how she should appreciate how others (me) treated her in the past. I decided to clear the air on my part and I sent her a follow up message in November in which she accepted. 3 weeks ago, I recieved a text from her asking if I still attend a particular venue for a pastime we both had in common. I decided to play it cool and just say "sometimes". Since then she has neither seen or opened the message.  Fast forward 3 weeks later and she followed my friend on Instagram. He messaged her pretending not to know her and asked how does she know him. In which she said "I think we both know someone" and then later mentioned my name.  I don't understand why she is playing these type of games when she is in a new relationship? Hi I've been dating this guy for a year and a few months. I recently fount out he has a baby that's almost one years old by a girl he told me was just his best friend. I met him while she was pregnant. She was in a relationship so I thought nothing of it. I had no doubts that it was her boyfriend's baby. I did had my doubts about them just being friends though . My boyfriend (now ex) broke up with me on friday after growing distant for about a week previous. Before that, he was acting so in love with me, everything was great. I have a male coworker who is close in age to me and I don't know very well, but use to hold general personal conversation with him here and here (i.e how was your weekend? Vacation Plans soon? ). When I last saw him too he kept watching me with a smirk on his face and followed me with his eyes as I walked back to my office. After saying, "Hi Lilly, How are you?" I politely said, "Hello, I'm doing well. Thank you" and then quickly walked away without asking him "and you". I'm just really trying to avoid further problems why I am staying away from him. What's his deal?  I have before responded with a nasty attitude hoping to keep him away, but it worked for a little awhile and he came back again. I became best friends with this guy almost instantly after I met him. We clicked and there was never a dull moment. We would FaceTime and talk all the time and he gave me the best advice. Hey,  I met a girl on the internet and she's from another country. we've been talking and videochatting for 2 months and she will come tomorrow. so I've been going to this doctor for almost 5 months now because I had to get a lump checked out on my throat. I'm in college so I first met him before and I came back to see him during winter break and he's way older me probably in his 50s  I have always seemed to get hit on my older men that's just what I attract lol.  anyways when me and the doctor met again we were scheduling for me to get surgery and it just got quiet for a few minutes and he asked if I was nervous and I hope he met about the surgery. Then the day of surgery he came in to talk to me before and that night he called to ask if I was ok and a week later I got the results for what it was and when he found out he called me in the next morning and talked to me about it being lymphoma and he was gonna do everything to help figure it out  Then I got radiation and It's basically gone now and he called my dad that same night ( idk how he found out ) and was like "I'm super excited, aren't you?!" Which I thought was kind of weird  he's married and his son is my age and today my dad was talking abt him and said it was kinda weird how he was giving me so much attention because most doctors dont do al that stuff and don't call and stuff and he said he was calling at night to see how I was and trying to get me in as soon as possible and when this is all over I should find a way to tell him thank you but all this sounds weird to me?  He is my ent btw
