Question: I NEED HELP WITH DATES? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 01:35 PM PST My wedding is June 13 (of this year) My invitations say RSVP by May 1st! That's about six weeks before the event! Is that a good time/not too early? (I prepared for people to mail it late) And what date should I send them out?? If I'm asking people to reply by May 1st, I was thinking of sending them out April 5th (giving them about 3 weeks) Is that good? |
Posted: 13 Feb 2020 12:28 PM PST I am helping my fiance plan our wedding reception for next April. Every venue I come across has a food and beverage minimum. We are planning for 150 people and want to use caterers of our choice. Anybody have any ideas on how to book a place in South Atlanta, preferably Hapeville or East Point, without the food and beverage minimum. My wedding is not until next year, and I am already scratching my head. I am looking for a venue that is versatile, and has space. We don't need a bar but we would like to be able to have a dance floor, it have an elegant look. It needs to have parking. |
Question: How do introverts handle wedding attention? Posted: 05 Feb 2020 03:33 AM PST With weddings being all about attention for the bride and groom, how do introverts (of all levels) handle it? Are their receptions shorter so that they can get away? How do they handle all the attention/people? |
Question: How should I word an wedding invitation to my church? Posted: 19 Jan 2020 06:51 PM PST I attended a small church for many years. I don't mind if all come but I know they probably won't be able to make it to the wedding because it's out of state. On the chance that some of them can make it there will be a wedding website they can refer to for information on the events. |
Question: Re wearing a wedding dress? Posted: 18 Jan 2020 12:43 PM PST Is it disrespectful to wear a wedding dress from your past marriage to your new wedding day? Since we're spending so much money on a wedding I was considering wearing my old wedding dress instead of buying a new one. My husband-to-be doesn't know I have this dress but my sister's insist it's pretty disrespectful. What do you think? It's a 9k dress for godsakes |
