Question: What does it mean when someone says no one's checking for you? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 04:41 PM PST so i was at school and me and my friends were changing in the bathroom. Then i was feeling self-conscious about my swimsuit because I've already wore it before. Then i was asking my friends if it was fine and they were saying it was fine but one of my friends was whispering as if she was talking to herself saying, 'no one is checking on u tbh...' after she said that i felt upset and i feel like she meant more then that, as in saying nobody checks me out or like ppl look at me because i look good. That made me feel so sad that i went in the stall and started crying and it made me feel like i look ugly. So pls im asking what did it mean when my friend said that and am i over reacting? |
Question: She once hinted at sleeping with me? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 04:31 PM PST A good friend of mine is married, almost double my age but we are best friends and we talk all the time via text and sometimes phone. We are not as close as we were in the beginning but she has hinted to me in the beginning of our friendship she would sleep with me. a year or more later is that feelings and emotions still there or is she moved on and happy with her marriage and family and don't want to remember flirting with me? I am in love with her and I have had a desire for her for the past year. I want to be with her. I was going to tell her but then made a lie confession to get out of confessing my desire and love for her. Just keep her as a friend? Should I get rid of the fantasty of being with her and wanting her? |
Posted: 04 Feb 2020 04:01 PM PST I laugh at old people, taunt preschoolers, beat up lesser kids, steal lunch money and vandalize school property. |

Question: Drama between my 10 year old son and others? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 01:47 PM PST Okay so my 10 year old son hates these 2 other girls in our neighborhood. They are the same age (or close to the same age) as him. He says he hates one as much as Sadahm Hussein and the other as much as Hitler. He has class with one of them and he hates just seeing her (even though she isn't really harassing him during class). Anyways long story short, my ex wife and daughter and neighbors keep bothering him about it and keep trying to excuse those girls or make them sound like good people. My son is getting mad and annoyed with those who keep trying to excuse those girls or make them sound innocent or get him to be their friends. My son gets annoyed and mad with my daughter, ex wife, neighbors, or anyone that does this to him and won't let him be. How do I deal with this? |

Question: Is my best friend in competition with me ? ? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 09:11 AM PST lately I been noticing things about my friend one day I told my friend that me and my mother was moving because our apartment is so small we need a bigger apartment now my friend house is huge she has her own room and I don't I share one with my mother so I tell her the good news that we are moving soon she just gets quiet and give me dry feed back like that's good she never seems happy for me. Now all of a sudden she's talking about her and her mother is moving to a nicer area this year she even encourages her mother to move some one better I feel like she is trying to up stage me her house is already big enough my mother was struggling to keep a roof under our head I'm just excited to move some where I can finally have my own room. Sometimes she even says things like her house is way bigger then mines my house is way too small. Also I tell her about my love life about my boyfriend I really love him she starts bragging on how her boyfriend is better he has a car and can take her everywhere she says my boyfriend doesn't know how to drive or always finds an issue also I'm a very attractive girl I been told every time we go out boys do approach me and show me attention more but she always says things like he was staring at me he totally was hitting up on me when the boys wasn't even paying her attention. I also talk about how I wanna be a celebrity she then sighs I do too I think imma definitely be a celebrity because I have the most dreams about celebrity's. What should I do? |
Question: My friend wants to apply for a job at the same place as I work but I don’t want her to? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 08:45 AM PST It's only a part time job in a restaurant while we're both in college. I've worked here nearly a year now but she's thinking of applying. I know it's petty but I've always felt really left out by my friend group (that she's also in) mostly during school years (nearly 2 years ago) but still quite a bit now, particularly by the friend wanting to apply. I know I'm 19 and it's ridiculous to be jealous but I'm a really shy person and to be honest everyone I've ever met prefers her and gets on with her better so I guess even though it's only work it was nice to have a place that just knew me as an individual not as someone's quiet, weird, less pretty friend. Also she's being very nice to me now since she brought it up and I feel a bit used also. Is it pathetic to try and sabotage her application? Also I suppose there's nothing I can do if she gets an interview and gets hired but I really don't want to help her get there. I just know everyone would prefer her to me and I'd even consider getting a new job if she got hired but the thing is I actually really do like my job. What do I do? |

Question: What’s your best excuse for calling in fake sick to work? ? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 06:16 AM PST I know everyone has so if your an asshole bless your poor soul. What's the best excuse to call in sick to work? Did you fake sound sick? And did they make you come in? I was thinking of calling in tomorrow or Thursday and was going to ask for an hour or so off the day before to make it believable. Am I going too much ind depth? Also for those that say I'm unreliable I have been doing three different peoples work for two weeks straight sooo. |

Question: What did my best friend of 5 years mean by this? Why did he say it? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 04:55 AM PST My friend and I were sitting in the lounge and out of the blue he says "sorry to bring up the past but when you used to joke with your ex about having a son named Cillian .. I like that, that's my sense of humour.. well, not about that specific thing but y'know what I mean..." What was he trying to insinuate? I've known him for 5 years and it's unnecessary for him to tell me about his sense of humour because I already know.. |

Question: How do I approach my brother with this topic? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 01:32 AM PST I'm a teen who really struggles with low self-esteem. I have quite a few friends at church but I can't help but compare myself to them and think negative thoughts about myself. I always find that I'm thinking that I'm not good enough, that nobody would want to hang with ME when there are so many more interesting and fun people to be around. I compare myself to my friends, and can't help but doubt if they even actually like me and enjoy hanging out with me. Unless I'm with people who I'm close with and am completely comfortable with, I judge everything that comes out of my mouth because I feel that I always say the dumbest things. Overall, I just have so many doubts about myself. Nobody knows that I struggle with this really bad and that these feelings can put me down really easily. I am very close to my 18 year old brother and I have been seriously considering talking to him about all of this. I think that just talking about it will help. And not only is my bro my best friend, but he's also one of my youth leaders at church so he may be able to give me some advice that relates to God. I'm trying to work myself up to talk to my brother about it all. I do really trust him, the thing is just that I've never gone to him (or any of my family) to talk to them about stuff like this and I'm just not sure how to approach him and start talking about the topic. This is all new to me so I'm just not sure how to go about doing it. |
Question: Hi can I apologize for my behaviour to you usual late nighters on this site? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 10:48 PM PST I ask a lot of stupid questions and sometimes I am hurtful and its getting to me, I wouldn't want to have put someone off by my words. I vow to be better hre and I'm sorry. |

Posted: 03 Feb 2020 07:09 PM PST So I have an acquaintance at school who I don't really want to be friends with, who keeps trying to talk to me, inviting me to places, trying to schedule in lunch dates with me. Every time they would talk to me, I would give them the shortest possible response, hoping that they would take the hint that I wasn't interested in talking to them. Every time they invited me to do something, I would always say something like "I'm sorry, I can't". Eventually, that person told the principal about how I wouldn't act as friendly as I do with others, along with how I don't make time for them, but they see me hang out with other friends. As a result, after being confronted by the principal, I was given a 1-day In-School Suspension for "neglecting another student" (at my school, if you tell someone that you are busy when they ask you to hang out, but you are caught making time for others, or that while you talk to someone in a certain way, but differently to someone else, it is considered "neglecting another student", and results in automatic In-school suspension minimum). Right after that, right in front of the principal, my acquaintance asked me out again, only this time, under the threat of an extension of my punishment, I actually said "yes" and agreed to hang out with them. What can I do if someone I don't like wants to be friends with me, but I don't like them if I actually have to act like I'm their friend because of my school's policies about "neglecting another student"? |
