to do in life, how would you feel as a parent? Would you regret forcing your kid to do chores? Would you make any other kids you have still do chores? I don't mind doing chores if I get money but when I don't get paid, I see no point I have a brother who committed suicide, if I do it too, 50% of their offspring committed suicide that means you are doing something wrong as a parent

I an a high school senior with twin step sisters my age, my step mother's daughters. They are both gorgeous with a figure to die for. They like to come in my room in the evening so I can help them do their homework. I am happy to help them as I really like them. The problem is when they come in for homework help they wear their shorty nightgown and nothing else. Everything is visible. I would NEVER EVER have sex with my sisters. However my weenee sometimes has a mind of it's own and I get a b0ner. It is totally embarrassing when this happens. They don't know I sometimes do this as I hide it from them. When I ask them to wear more clothes when the come into my room, they tell me there is no way I should be sexually attracted to them. Does this make me a perverted sick guy?

My step daughter told me and her husband and my daughters and son (her step sisters and brother) that she will be moving in with her mother this christmas i don't want this to happen my son jacob told her "you will never move in with your mother because she sucks" My step daughter told him " that she does not care and my step sister told her "who is gonna do our laundry" My step daughter said " i can only do the laundry till december" then when i a gone do the housework yourself" then she left she was treated like a maid here, What can i do to convince her not to move in with her mom? my step daughters name is alicia

I've taken on the task of organizing all our family pics into albums (there are thousands because my parents never bothered). What should I do with pics of non-relatives, like old friends of my parents who are long gone (either already died or just lost contact over the years)? I've still been scanning them so we will have a copy of the pictures, but I don't really see the point in saving the physical pictures in our "family" albums. Should I just limit the pictures in the albums to actual relatives?

I am nearly 38 and they keep messaging me with silly chores to do (i do not live there i live in my own flat) they keep asking me you got to get your uncles shopping you got to pick your sister up from work you got to come around mums and wait in for the food delivery man. etc.

My step daughter is planning on moving out and living with her real mom this christmas my husband is ok with letting this happen and she already brought a plane ticket i don't want her to move in with her mom my husband is mad at me because he thinks i am being a selfish baby but i am not i don't want her to move in with her mom. What do i do? My husband also said that i am not her real mom and she can move in with whoever she wants too she is almost an adult

I want to move out of my fathers house and live with my mom and step dad. My mom says she and my step dad are fine with letting me move in and my father is Ok with letting me move in with them. But my stepmom won't let me move in with my real mom she told me i can't move in with them and she will never let my mom take us and she wants me to live with her and my father just so that i can be her slave and she expects me to do chores all the time i want to move in with my real mother but my stepmother said she will never let me leave her my stepbrother moved out last week and is now living with his dad and stepmom because my stepmom allowed him to what do i do?She would never let my mom take me I really want to live my real mom if you think that this is a troll it is not i am serious i am in this situation Can i force my stepmom to let me live with my real mom?

My little sister is almost 20 she used to date this guy who was a year older than her. It turned out he was cheating on her my sister started hating him and they broke up.  He ended up having kids by other girls and becoming a player. My sister ended up talking to him again because he just got out of surgery and she's falling for him again. She's going to his house to "chill" with him. She's really happy but even though I know he actually got operated on I know he has one thing on his mind.  I think she still cares because a few months ago she was missing him. She's back to thinking he's cute and saying he's funny. 

I'm 18 with only 2 older brothers. My oldest brother is now 27 about to get married.  His now fiancées been in the picture since I was 16, and we have got into it. It's not that I have a problem with her, it's the fact my brother has completely changed since her. He's barely around, he rarely texts me back anymore, I see them on social media taking all these pictures when we maybe have 1 picture together. It's just a slap in the face because I'm blood related.  His fiancée is very close to my mom which bothers me, because they'll be talking for hours and I don't know what about. She has offered to take me to the movies, and for a pedicure but I have no interest. We are different people and she took my brother. I'm not jealous, I just don't want her around but I want to keep my relationship with my brother. What should I do?

I used to live with my mom, dad, sis, and brother until I was 20. rn I'm 24. Now my dad and sister are gone, and only my mom and brother live together and my mom is planning to move with my dad when possible. I don't get why I got left in this dirty place. I can't cook, take a shower or use the bathroom. Everything is old and nasty. And this room is horrible because I can trespass the ******* neighbor's room since there's no lock. Oh and the ******* toilet doesn't work properly it's so nasty. It ******* sucks, I hate this room with the trespass door I know in nyc **** gets bad but this is too much . Come on. A ******* bad toilet. A bad toilet used by strangers. 

I ran into my ex mother in law Carol at the mall. We talked briefly and as it was lunch time I invited her to go to join me for lunch. We went to a nice restaurant in the mall. We had great food and a great conversation. I did not think any more about it until I get a text message from my former wife Ellie, that she did not want me dating her mom anymore. She said it would be to weird to call her ex husband dad? I thought she must be joking as how could anyone think that having lunch one time with anyone would mean they were going to get married so going along with the joke, I said "Does that mean you will not be a brides maid at the wedding"? It turns out she was not joking and now she is mad at me. Do you think I did something wrong here?

I understand that family bickers and fights a lot of the times and were supposed to love them at the end of the day. But with the case with my younger sister is different. What was at first typical sibling behavior, soon turned into something else as we got older. She use to purposely say and do things she know that would get under my skin and then either play the victim when i'd retaliate, or say i was being too sensitive. When i wrong her, people are quick to call me out on it. When she wrongs me either nobody notices or they'll say "oh you can't hold a grudge THATS YOUR SISTER". They've said that SOOO many times. She never in her life apologized or felt about what she did to me, she'd say i was gay because I was too sensitive, hit me because she knows i'm afraid to hit girls and then the family would be like "Why don't you hang around us anymore". But if i told them its because of my sister, they'll be like "you're being too sensitive". And for years, thats how they expect me to act every time she wrongs me. To suck it up or let it go, "she's family". And whats worst is that I'm the first one to see it but no one else believes me. And she STILL sees herself as the victim, its never her fault. But apparently I'm wrong for not wanting to talk to or be around her and I'm being bitter. Am I wrong for not wanting to talk to her?

I'm seriously sick of school. Ever since high school ended I'm finally free from school and i was thinking abiut finding a job. Then at that time i was clueless so i just dumbly followed my dad and go to college and its my worst decision in my life I've ever made. I've failed like 3 different courses and even moved to a new college and i guess my dad didn't see that i hated studying and he still forces me to study. Im currently 20 years old and im planning to go korea to audition to see if i would even get in to try. And if i didnt worked then i will do anything as my dad told but then he's being a stubborn asshole and just said no. Right now, im planning to find my own money and fly to korea on my own and audition there myself. Im pretty determined to get and reach my dreams and goals. I know how to read and speak the language there. I wanted to do something i was passionate about and ever since i was around 13-14 years old i loved dancing. Then i realized Korea is actually the perfect country for me to do so and i started the learning the language and up until now these 2 things are the ones that i have not lost interest. 

My father drinks constantly but no one seems to care or notice. He is very popular in our town and is admired by many. At the same time no one ever talks about how he has 4-5 drinks a day.  Does it matter if you drink a lot if your just a fun guy to be around?

So its not horrible getting drunk everynight, but Knowing I could never have a family or a partner or a job, living on government money, why should it be anything else?

My situation is very complicated. At the age i'm at, this should not have to be my problem. I understand that. But i need to come up with a solution that will help me. All people tell me is "oh god, you should never have to deal with this.." Well, unfortunately i do, and i'm fortunate it's not worse. So any help is much appreciate. I'm a teenage girl living with my mom and brother... and father. My dad has had unemployment issues all my life. He struggles with ADD, OCD, Anger Issues and has face depression and an alcohol addiction. Due to his unemployment we have always struggled with money. My moms parents (my grandparents) have been more than generous to us which i feel terrible about. They even own the house we live in right now. They want my dad gone as much as I do. At this point i have so much hate for him it overwhelms the love. But i don't know how to get him to leave. He has no money to go anywhere, my mom can't spare any without us not having enough food, and he has little to no friends and family to help him. The police have come to our house in many instances. They can't ever do anything because he hasn't physically hurt anyone. But he screams and breaks things 24/7. The idea that my grandparents could get a restraining order against him would make him have to leave the house but still he has no where to go and no money to do it. I need him to leave. So if anyone has any idea of law i could use for this or anything that could help with this situation PLEASE answer

I have longed to be a member of my mother's family. They are not mean to me or anything but just have no interest in much of a relationship and yet they are all close to each other. I grieve and miss out and it hurts me a lot. My Mom did somethings to hurt her family but it was not my fault. They hurt her feelings also. Yet, I am innocent in all that. It hurts a lot cause they are family. Even weddings I am not asked to about half the time when everyone else is asked other then my Mom, siblings, and I. Two times my mother was asked but not us kids since the cousins marrying don't know us real well. I have tried reaching out and only one has reciprocated. My mother's siblings all respond though often with no's but my cousins ignore me. I am 20 and male.

I'm a 14 year old boy living with my single mom and grandmother, and at the moment we're trying to move out of my grandmas house and get our own apartment. This is an issue though as my mom would have to give up her car and even freedom in order to make ends meet and I don't want her to struggle too much. Times have been rough for as long as I've been alive, and I really want to get a job to pay for my own stuff and even help out with bills but my mom is insisting me not to, and to just focus on school and my own life cause she doesn't want me to worry but I see the hard work that she puts herself through and I want to help. What should I do? 

Hello everyone my niece is turning 3 years old in two weeks. She is sweet, kind, and adorable and great. My sister who is having her party is having at play park with a theme animal. I have no problem with that, but after they are going to her home to celebrate. To which there are going to be a lot of people there which I don't want to associate with or just don't feel comfortable associating myself. I am an introvert, plus have aniexty and just don't want to deal with my sisters friends their not the type of people where our personalities mix, they are kind of loud. Also my sisters & I are not the closest our relationships is not the best. I try my hardest to get along with them because I have two nieces and one nephew. Plus one of my sisters is having another baby. I have no children at the moment plus they bring a lot of joy and happiness to my life right now. I told my sister I will not probably come to the house after as it long drive to the park, plus we will be at the theme park with all those people a long time. I tried explaining this to her and she said it would be unfair. I told her I don't mind doing something alone or taking my niece somewhere which we do a lot of anyways. I am being unreasonable? I mean this is going to be hours out of my day which I love my niece so I don't mind. I don't love huge crowds of people though. Also do attend every holidays, extra time, birthday the children have and bring a gift 

This weekend is when the trip he lied about to Oregon would have taken place. Friday through Tuesday. He told me last summer to plan on it and so I adjusted my schedule last summer for it. Then come Christmas he said no he was not doing it cause he didn't have time for travel this winter. Then he went and traveled for 3 days last week and is again first week of March with my step-Mom. He has repeatedly done this.

So a few days ago me and my friend were hanging out and we went to the pet store and I got a hamster without my parents permission, it was my birthday and I already have everything to take care of him so I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. But my parents were really mad and they took my phone and they're keeping it until May. Im doing online school for now and so the only time I really talk to my friends is FaceTiming or texting and I really don't want to go the next 4 months without talking to any of my friends. They haven't taken my phone in years so I have no idea where to even start looking for it. I know I should just accept the punishment and wait it out but its only been a few days and I'm already really lonely, also Im 17 so I feel like this is sort of unfair. anyways, if anyone has any ideas on where to look that would help a lot. 

This guy's taking me to some family function as his wife. He said he has problems finding women to date him. Yes, I'm getting compensated for this. But I've never been married before so I don't really know how married couples act. We're supposed to be married for 2 years now. No, this isn't a movie. This is real.
