Question: Why did she leave????? Please help? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 05:53 PM PST I was involved in a situation that has me very upset. I am a guy, and I had a good friend who I met at work over a year ago. Her name is Nicole, and I had a big crush on her. Nicole was really cool about me liking her, but she was married with two kids. we got along great she would always talk to me, she always had a big smile when I was around her. We would flirt from time to time, I felt like there was so Much Chemistry Between Us. Eventually a lot of co-workers began complaining that our friendship was very inappropriate since she's married. This turned into a lot of drama at work, soo our supervisors told Nicole and me that we need to stop talking at work or we could be fired. Me and Nicole would still talk to each other behind everyone's back, and she primised to always have my back. Later she qwas under investigation and she began getting very stressed out, eventually Nicole stabbed me in the back. she went to management and she told him that I'm still trying to talk to her, so my manager got mad and suspended me and moved me from area with a different schedule. A month after I was moved from Her area she quit. Coworkers found that weird since she was there for 13 years. Sone people have told me that she quit because she was guilty of stabbing me in the back. But I don't understand why she would quit because of that??????? Can i please have advice???????

Posted: 09 Mar 2019 04:34 PM PST I've always been the helpful type. I love helping people. I don't put it i've tried people's heads but i'll bring it up if I start feeling used and unappreciated. So I just told someone close to me that I've noticed they jump for others and please them but when I ask for help which is rare they come up with an excuse. Or they'll say not today but soon. In those times of waiting I am doing favours for them and still they haven't helped me. I brought this up and Im the one who's being told I'm being rude. No matter how I word this apparently I'm making them feel bad and can't make them understand that's not my intention. I can't make them understand my point of view without hurting their feelings..Am I trippin because I thought feeling bad when you're wrong is somewhat normal.. like take accountability maybe? And if they don't like my boundaries then goodbye...

Question: Psychology: Please help, what to do? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 03:06 PM PST My boyfriend has a roommate and they've been living together for about a year. Recently, the roommate started living with his girlfriend at her place. I spend a lot of time at my boyfriends place. However, there's a college student that my boyfriends roommate knows and he allowed him to stay over for winter break. Now, the college student is coming back here for his spring break. So, we got to know each other from his stay last time and he told us over New Year's Eve that he was coming for spring break. My boyfriend and I are moving into our own apartment this week coming up. There's no tv or internet in this current place. I told the college student but he said he's still coming. I don't think he's been in contact with my boyfriend or the other roommate because my boyfriend was unaware of his coming and we weren't prepared for his arrival. My boyfriend told me that we can't host anyone right now since we are trying to deal with moving and buying furniture and etc. what to do? The guy told me he is coming in a matter of hours. The roommate is the one that he knows. My boyfriend and I are just people he just met.
Posted: 09 Mar 2019 02:31 PM PST My dad asked me what a lightyear was because he knows that I am into astronomy. Mom and dad were debating it. Mom thought it was a syfi thing and dad thought it was time. I was like " you both are wrong a lightyear is around 6 trillion miles".
Question: How do you stop overthinking an awkward moment? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 02:24 PM PST So I met up with a friend of mine (let's call her friend A) today, we got some food and were having a conversation about one of our mutual friends that just got engaged (friend B). Friend A doesn't have instagram so she hadn't seen any of the engagement pictures of friend B . I pulled out my phone and showed her the pictures. One of the pictures was friend B kissing her fiancé and as I was showing the picture to friend A I realized I somehow had the picture in my "SAVED PHOTOS" folder on Instagram, which of course makes me look like a creep. So friend A saw that and I could tell by her face she was creeped out a bit (Duh! Why would you save a picture of your friend making out with her fiancé!). It was silent for a bit and then I kind of mumbled "No idea why I saved that" but it didn't sound convincing at all. Long story short, things got awkward and I wanted to leave as soon as possible. I'm home now but I seriously can't stop thinking about it! What the hell is she going to think of me?
Question: How to convince fiance I don't like my friend that way? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 01:37 PM PST I've had this friend for 2 years. I haven't known my fiance as long as I've known my friend. My friend is happily married and has been for 16 years. They have kids. My fiance has been convinced lately that I have a thing for my friend. I'm not sure how the thought got started, but now he's saying I blush every time he brings up my friend's name. If I do, I don't mean to. I blush easily. How do I convince him that it's not what he thinks? I can't even bring up my friend anymore without my fiance making a big deal about it and I purposely asked to be alone when giving my friend his birthday card/gift card at church because I knew my fiance would make a big deal about it later on if he was there with us. We did flirt a tiny bit, but it's not like that. Read the entire post. My fiance trusts me and besides, my friend is very happily married so there's not a chance of anything happening.
Question: I want my friends to level up! Do I need new friends? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 01:12 PM PST I ended up bar hopping with friends in crappy dive bars and I was so unhappy. All night, I was thinking this isn't fun and I'm over it. But I feel bad. I feel bad that I like to do better things with my time than my friends. I feel stuck up and bougie. I would have much rather been home working than spending money in crappy bars until 5am. I wasn't driving and it was an hour away from home so I couldn't just Uber home. Idk, I just feel bad.
Question: How to not be the Ted Mosby of the friend group? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 12:00 PM PST Honestly Im not even sure if this can be answered, but how can I not turn into Ted Mosby? I mean Im 20 so got plenty of time, but I have my Robin which is my friend's fiancee's best friend. Im in love with her but she's been hurt a few times that makes her not really want a relationship, so Im trying to move on, but I have bad luck with this relationship thing.
Question: Why everyone hates me in high school ? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 11:57 AM PST So I'm a Vietnamese student and current studying in USA. I have been studying here for almost 6 years now.I'm just an average student, not too smart or tall. At school I talk with my friends and my teachers. But I always feels like that they are trying to ignore me. When I tried to talk to them in social media, they always left me on seen and even when I tried say hi to them they always do the same thing. Some people even talked bad about me even tho I've never talked to them. I really hate that and I wanted is to make friends with everyone. Please help me!!
Question: Who do I call when someone tells me that their friend tried this? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 11:37 AM PST So my cousin, stayed at her friends house. Her friend told me that my cousin tried to stab her brother. Who do I call about this?
Question: So all my exes friends are going to hate me automatically just because she hates me? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 11:25 AM PST That's not fair I shouldn't be given that kind of hate just because I don't even know them people and they don't know my side of the story
Question: How do you know when you click with someone? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 09:32 AM PST You know that everyone is not going to like you or show an interest in you. You may have many acquaintances, but only a few good friends. How can you tell when a person is not just an acquaintance but a friend? How do you know when you have a connection with another person or an interest in them and vice versa?
Question: Should I add a friend that moved away back in 2nd grade on SC? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 08:12 AM PST I'm a junior now. I remember I had a really good friend back in 1st and 2nd grade that moved away the year before 3rd. Haven't talked to him once since cause we didn't have phones or social media back then. I found an old yearbook recently and saw him so I asked a friend to search his name on Instagram (I don't have one so adding and dm'ing him is out of the picture). His snapchat is in his bio. I don't know if I should add him. I don't know if he remembers me at all in the slightest. I don't want him to think I'm weird. Should I go for it? Thanks.
Question: How do I apologize and get him to listen??? PLS HELP!!? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 08:07 AM PST My best friend asked me for nudes and i was really considering sending them but i asked my 2 best friends about it to see if they thought i should or shouldn't. A few days later my friend calls me a snake and won't talk to me saying i went around telling people after i said i wouldn't and to piss off and not talk to him again. He ignored me for 3 days and i finally got him to respond but he's not budging and now he won't respond anymore and is still so mad and done with me. I've apologized as best i can! What can i do??
Posted: 09 Mar 2019 08:03 AM PST I have a guy that I've known for eight years. six of those years we were best friends. We hung out a lot and even tarevled to different states together. I decided to come to the same university as him and that's when I progressively began to dislike him. I noticed when I'd start making friends with his friends he would be subtly jealous. As time passed on I realized he was very sneaky, a liar and manipulative. Many times he would say some messed up things about me to my face and behind my back. The thing is, I've been trying to subtly cut him off from my life for the past two years, but he seems to intentionally not get the picture...meaning he acts like he does not know I don't like him and he tries to force a friendship and conversations with me as if we are cool. Sometimes in the past he would seem to change and I would think he was a better person, but just as I began to like him again, he'd start with his shady personality and behavior and I would dislike him again We live in the same house with 4 other roommates so I cannot escape him. What can I do?

Plz answer me guyss! |
Question: Is she jealous that I’m hanging out with her friend? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 07:41 AM PST I've been hanging out with another female friend (Friend B) after Friend A who is also a female has been dealing with issues with her ex. I've been hanging out with Friend A a lot. We would go to the movies, get a chocolate candy, get ice cream, have lunch, I'd make dinner for her, and I'd hug her tightly and if I even went for a kiss, I'd blush and she'd giggle. With Friend B, she'd hug me tightly, hold my hand, kiss me, let me massage her, and invite me over to cuddle. Friend A found about it and wouldn't talk to me for hours before she said I probably enjoyed the kiss. I told her she was with her ex and she just thinks of me as a friend (she thinks I'm cute). It's still not exclusive but why is she jealous?
Posted: 09 Mar 2019 07:31 AM PST I sit at a table with my friends at lunch and the past few days, there's been this girl that has come and sat at our table. I literally can't stand her. She's so ******* loud. Like she yells everything she says. And she hovers over my shoulder and she's so ******* nosy. I had a panic attack because of her once. My friends know I can't stand her, but they won't say anything about it. They just keep letting her come to our table. So I just left the table and started sitting by myself. I typically get along with everyone, but this girl I just can't get along with. And it really sucks because she just won't leave the table, so I can't sit with my friends anymore. I'm just so frustrated and I feel like I'm being a *****, but I just can't put up with her anymore.
| Question: Am I being a bit** to my friend ? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 07:19 AM PST I have a friend I have known for over 10 years . | Question: Is it true that working in teams with a friend can kill a friendship? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 07:19 AM PST For a class in college we had to get in teams and I was hurt when one of my friends didn't include me. He said it was because he doesn't like working with friends since it could ruin friendships. Is this true? Like if you disagree on some homework related things? |
Posted: 09 Mar 2019 06:31 AM PST I'm so very hurt. We have been best friends for almost ten years. My detective called me to tell me the prosecutor is dropping the charges because the witness would give a statement. The detective said he called her over 20 times and she always gave an excuse about a busy work schedule or something. What would you do in this case? I cannot trust her, so I am done with being her friend. I'm heartbroken. I didn't report it right when it happened, so there's no evidence. Without her statement, it's he said she said. And she knew that. We are meeting today with a mutual friend. In each of the text messages when the mutual friend and I confirmed the place or time, she just replied "******* aye". She did that twice in the conversation, that's all she said. I have no idea what that means. It's like she's mad at me for needing her statement?

Question: How to get over losing my Best Friend and crush? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 06:19 AM PST I've liked my Best Friend for almost a year and a half now. I'm a guy and he's not gay. I've accepted this, yet I still can't move on. Recently we've been drifting apart. I mean, most of it probably has to do with the fact that I'm pushing him away. I guess it's just some defense mechanism I have to avoid getting hurt more. I thought drifting apart would actually help, but it just makes me feel worse. He's having all of this fun without me, and he doesn't even miss me. I know it's stupid. I shut him out and then get mad when he doesn't talk to me. But I don't know any other way to move on. I wish they weren't the same person. If I wanted to stop talking to my crush, I could just talk to my Best Friend. But now I'm losing them both. What do I do? I don't want these feelings anymore.
Question: I'm really sad.. and I don't know what to do? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 01:37 AM PST I always feel so sad.. and there are many reasons behind it. First of all.. the very few friends that I have just don't seem to care about me. I have this one best friend but she rarely textes me back. And the way we talk.. it just feels like our friendship isn't genuine. There was this one boy I was friends with (I actually really liked him).. but he rarely talks to me anymore. I'm really socially awkward so making new friends isn't that easy for me :( Because of this awkwardness I never came along with my cousins and family (I rarely speak with them). This really affects me bcs I always have this feeling that nobody wants to talk to me or likes me. I've never had a boyfriend or even a guy who liked/noticed me. Because of this I have really bad self-esteem. I was also bullied as a child for my looks which still really effects my confidence. I have zero self confidence and that makes me so unhappy. I also never have any free time. I study alot.. so I actually don't go out that much. I feel so jealous of people who have so many friends and go out every single weekend :(.. my brother always goes out with his friends/goes out on dates.. and don't get me wrong. I love my brother, but I also feel really insecure when I see people having this awesome life.. when my life just sucks. I don't know what to do..
Question: Is this an appropriate way to end a friendship? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 12:51 AM PST I no longer want to be friends with this girl and I have been avoiding her and not talking to her much but she doesn't seem to be getting the point. I want to send her a text saying, "I don't think we can be friends anymore. Our friendship is over. I wish you all the best". Or do you think I should do it face to face? We have been friends for 2 years.
Question: Why are there strong black women at the two Hooters near my location? Posted: 09 Mar 2019 12:36 AM PST When I go into the Hooters at my two locations, it is plundered with strong black women waitresses. They get angry if a guy 'checks them out' The white women in the place vary and look like they come out of a trailer park. Any reason why this is like it Is?
Question: Is it harder to find a true friend nowadays? Posted: 08 Mar 2019 10:45 PM PST In today's society, do you think it is harder to make/find a real friend in contrast to past decades? Or, has it always been hard?

Question: Is this normal? I don’t want to grow up I guess? Advice? Posted: 08 Mar 2019 08:31 PM PST So to start off, I'm 15, freshman in high school and I'd say I must be pretty abnormal compared to all the other girls or teens in my age group. I mean from what I hear, all the girls in my grade already want cars, top- notch make up, jobs, and all the hottest boys in the world to date them. But none of that seems to appeal to me? I don't really want a car because I'm scared my klutziness will get the best of me and I might run someone over. I don't want a job just yet (I'm planning on looking into them later when I'm an adult though) since I honestly feel it'll interrupt my studies and other extra- curricular I already do. And if I gotta be honest, I was never crazy about boys or make up. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, I don't really get the hype about all these teen wishes stuff. I guess it's a maturity thing but I don't know. In a way, the fact that I'm not interested in any of these at all (or for yet anyways) makes me feel a bit left out no matter how much I try to force myself to become interested :/ Any advice on how to possibly fix this?

Question: Are my parents overreacting? Posted: 08 Mar 2019 07:59 PM PST I noticed that most people my age don't have to go through a whole dam process JUST to spend a few hours with their friends. My parents: "Well, we need to meet their parents first." It feels like they're rushing to meet other parents, when most people don't do that unless they're in a relationship for a while. I just wanted to go to my best friend's house to hang out, because I only get to see her for about an hour on school days, and she'll be moving soon so I don't have much time to hang out with her before she goes halfway across the country. List of my parents' rules: 1: Tell them about a week in advance (they don't do as much as you would think, on weekends they just spend time playing video games and making the 9 year-old watch the toddler for them; one of them does that all week while the other works) 2: We need to meet their parents so you don't get kidnapped. seriously, ALMOST NO ONE DOES THAT. Who would want to kidnap me, anyway? I'm nothing too special and my best friend's parents were pretty nice when I met them before. 3: You have to do a whole bunch of things in the few hours before you leave. Clean your room (understandable) clean the floors, do the dishes, do laundry, etc. I also just remembered: MY MOM MET MY BEST FRIEND'S MOM. A few months ago for conferences, my mom spoke to my best friend's mom for a little while. Are they overreacting? (ran out of room to say this) Also, don't say I'm "ungrateful". I love and appreciate my parents more than anything else in this world. They do a lot for me, but they keep me from hanging out with friends a lot. I noticed a few spelling errors. I type pretty fast and forgot to check for any mistakes.

Posted: 08 Mar 2019 07:15 PM PST So i have a friend group right but ive been real good friends with one person and a few days ago she stopped talking to me so i just thought she was tired, or in a bad mood or on her period, and the day after she was the same way and i realized she would try to deflect talking to me for example say one or two words in response back and say shes bored all the time and then i just left her alone for a little i saw her chatting up and laughing with the group. Now, today, same thing except we were passing notes to one another and i was trying to be silly but she was still one wording me and eventually she wrote "I dont care about this" so i replied "oh um alright bye?" And so I ve ignored her the whole day and i am clueless on what to do and i seriously just want to get rid of the group from my life but at the same time i dont know whats going on, any advice or thoughts
