Question: How can I not feel awkward wearing the same glasses as my classmate.? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 05:10 PM PDT So I went to the optometrist yesterday and finally got some new frames, which I think look a lot nicer than my old ones. The only problem is, my classmate has the same ones, and she HATES it when people copy her. I didn't even realise I had the same frames. They also suit my face. Worst of all, I have to wear them almost all the time and I am joint form captain with her so she will definitely notice. What should I do, please help! -Nicola 💜 |
Posted: 30 Mar 2019 04:45 PM PDT Hi, I have a friend group with several people at school, and we used to hang out all the time, but there has been a lot of drama and now some of us don't get along with each other. Four of us get along really well, and we want to go to prom together, but we think some other people in our friend group will want to go with us too, despite the conflict. But we know we would not have fun if we they came with us. Should we be honest and say we don't want to go with them and hurt their feelings? Or make up some excuse? Or just let them come along and suffer? Thanks. |

Question: Was I blocked or my friend deleted her Facebook? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 04:25 PM PDT So I was going onto my friend's profile on Facebook so I could message her but it said it couldn't be found. We didn't had a argument or anything like that. I went to the messenger app to see her messenger profile so I can see if I was blocked. Her messenger profile said that I can either call her, video chat with her, or mute her. The profile icon is not there. I went to a person who I know blocked me (we had a fallout) and it just show the profile and mute icons. My friend didn't blocked me on Instagram though so I'm thinking she's deactivatied her fb account. Can anyone confirm this? |
Posted: 30 Mar 2019 03:46 PM PDT I tried telling managers and they said that's just how she is. I know she hates me and I tried talking to her and she got worse and said Im not going to cut it here. I just started and I feel like shes just an angry uptight person. The people in her department act like her too. Now she's lying to other bosses saying I can't read. And has people spy on me and invent crap to gossip about as if trying to get me fired. I told her I am trying my best. She said it's not good enough. Honestly she has OCD and acts like a different person around me. But is nice to her clicks |
Question: How can I make new friends? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 03:10 PM PDT My current friend group doesn't include me in anything. I have been wanting to leave them for awhile now. Part of my problem is people aren't really patient with me. I'm not good at starting conversations, and socializing in general. But once people get a conversation started, I have no problem socializing. There's really nobody I want to hang out with though, i may need to wait until next school year. A fresh start, new scenery, and most importantly, new people. Any thoughts?? |

Question: What do you talk about with penpals? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 12:54 PM PDT I have a pen-pal who I've been emailing and occasionally video call with on and off for nearly 3 years now. Each time we video call, neither one of us say much to each other and it is awkward silence most of the time. We live in different countries from each other so it's like there are limited things to talk casually about. "Hi, how's the weather there?" is just so lame and seems to be all the more to say. What is there to talk about with penpals who live in another country from you? |
Question: I'm in a predicament? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 12:53 PM PDT I told my mom this morning I'm going to a friends house, but I'm actually going on a date. Now, my annoying mom had to GO TO MY FRIENDS HOUSE and hang out with their parents and said, "I'll pick you up when your friend comes home." I dont know what to do. My friend has no idea I'm doing this, and my parents would get mad at me for lying. What should I do. I also dont want to cancel my date lmao. |
Question: Why does my friend sometimes behave cold towards me? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 12:10 PM PDT I'm female and I have a friend who is older than me. We get on really well except sometimes I notice things are off. The other day, me and my friend went to a talk and there was another girl there who was attending the talk. When we sat down, the girl told me that I had a very beautiful face, and I noticed my friend started to play with her hair and preen herself as soon as this other girl complimented me and then for the rest of the talk I noticed my friend was staring at me angrily. Then when the talk ended, my friend walked off ahead of me and I couldn't keep up with her. She seemed ok with me after a few hours. On a seperate occasion I was with my female friend and a few others in the friendship group and we were looking at books together. The next minute I realised they had all gone off without me and I couldn't find them so I went back to class. When my friend got back she told me what a nice time they all had together and that they got some really good photos and she kept showing me the photos. My friend has also said things to me before like when we are talking that I am lucky that I am still young and I have time to find a man and have children. I take dance classes and she started taking them after I did. She also once told me she got jealous when she saw my dance photos that it made her go straight to dance class after she saw them. Why does my friend sometimes behave like this around me? |
Question: HELP ME so last night my best friend of 7 years hates me? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 11:47 AM PDT so last night my best friend was at my other friends house she started telling me about one of her problems but i kinda brushed it off and started talking about another subject. this is because i didn't want to get in a deep convo when she was at my friends house. so my best friend said "wow glad to see you care" and i sent back a surprised face and she left me on open. she wouldn't talk to me the next day when she was still with that same friend. i said "i need to tell you something when you get home" and she said wow back so i told her i was going to tell her an apology and she didn't believe me. i'm really worried because the friend she was with is kinda known for tearing friendships apart and telling lies about people to make people fight. idk how to get my best friend to forgive me please help!! |

Question: What will she think about me? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 11:37 AM PDT So I scared my friend with Freddy Fazbears screaming and she yelled at me to stop doing that. I thought she was mad at me for scaring her so I yelled at her saying I'm not friends with her anymore. What is my issue with me? I apologized for what i did. |
Question: Why was he being rude? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 11:22 AM PDT Some of my university classmates and I were recently on an overseas school trip and one of the guys said these comments to me: "You're blushing", "Oh someone talked to you in the town? You finally have a boyfriend?". Is he crushing on me or something? We aren't close at all. |
Posted: 30 Mar 2019 10:14 AM PDT I work at Goodyear a tire place. I'm just came back in for lunch. I walked into the door. I walked past 2 coworkers talking. One I work with his name is Luke. The other one works in the retread department. His name is Ryan. While I was walking I walked past luke who was standing with a bar in his hand. Then right after I walked past Luke, Ryan who was sitting on tires laughed and said "Luke that's messed up. You are a @ss whole for that". I didnt look back or asked what did he do. I was wondering what on earth I could have done that was weird. I just walked in the work area with my lunch. Either Luke has issues was being a dick or Ryan was trying to start a fight |
Posted: 30 Mar 2019 09:32 AM PDT I noticed that when one of my friends talks he has a habit of putting my name at the end of his sentence I honestly think he's just trying to be polite but I don't know if it could mean more then what I am thinking any advice |

Question: My best friend is moving away, how do I cope? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 08:35 AM PDT My best friend Caitlin and I are both going to college this Fall. I'm staying local but she is going to be 5 hours away. I'm so used to seeing her everyday and telling her everything. I'm happy for her but I'm going to miss her. I don't know how to deal with this. |
Question: It’s ok to be white and say the n word as long as you have a pass right? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 08:31 AM PDT I asked my friend if I could have a pass and she said no. She believes no one should be allowed to say the n word especially if your white so I asked my other friend for a pass and he gave me two passes so I said "thanks my ***'g'er" my other friend got so mad she kicked me as hard as she could in the leg and she was like "YOUR WHITE YOU CANT SAY THE N WORD" but I mean I had a pass that wasn't fair |
Question: If a guy puts his arm around you, could he possibly like you? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 08:03 AM PDT I went out with this guy and we left our coats in the car when we went to the arcade. So when we were leaving out it was cold outside. I told him it was cold and he put his arm around me. I told him that I had fun with him and he said he did too. I'm not saying it means he likes me. I'm asking if it's a possibility. |

Posted: 30 Mar 2019 06:35 AM PDT Hey Guys, I am a 21 year old female and have this female friend that is very possesive. If I am online and do not respond to her texts on whatsapp in less than 2 mins (yes 2) she gets really angry and keeps blowing up my phone asking who I am talking to and why I am online and not talking to her. Half the time I am either talking to my boyfriend or my sisters or even watching movies while texting and I have told her this but she gets really upset saying I am taking too long to respond and so she begins ringing me constantly. At first I tried hard not to think of it badly but I think it is getting out of hand because she is constantly getting emotional asking my whereabouts and who I am speaking to. Last night my sister was feeling depressed and so I was online encouraging her and I hadn't responded to my friend just yet as I was busy talking with my sister. So my friend got really upset and saying stuff like "What are you doing?" "Why you haven't opened my texts?". I text this friend all day everyday, and I cannot put her over my sister who was feeling really sad and depressed. My friend has other friends whom she seem to cherish and if I should talk about my other friends etc, she would get upset and extremely jealous. She kept ringing me Last night while I clearly told her I was busy dealing with some business with my sister and getting really emotional when I do not answer the call. To be honest, I am scared like crazy. I have no idea what to do or how to approach this. |
Question: Are these people making fun of me or is this normal? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 06:15 AM PDT I'm 5"4, female, 18 years old, and 180 pounds. Since I was 13 people kept making fun of me saying things like i'm "big and fat", random people would just yell out "You big fat dog", and things like this. Now it's worse, people accuse me of being "bigfoot", a "monster", and a "giant". But 5"4 isn't even that tall. Just because i'm overweight, they want to say "you're a big, fat bully", and stuff. I think it's ridiculous, I'm not friends with them, and we say nothing to each other. My grandmother and father says this to me too, everyone in my family. I don't remember one time in the last 5 years where the word "big" hasn't been in a conversation amongst people with me. I'm not annoyed about it, what I am annoyed about, is why? Why do these people need to make fun of this in situations like you're at class at school trying to learn, and they're bringing this up. Or driving on your way home and people are bringing this up. Like put a sock in it |

Question: Will bank send old address about my confirmation for changing new address after moving? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 01:33 AM PDT I moved out of my former friend's house (no longer friends because that friend chose to make dumb decisions) moved in because my parents moved out of state and I was attending community college and working full time at a restaurant. I am moving in with a family member and I was thinking about changing my address on bank account. If I change it, will my former friend receive confirmation of me changing my address to the current one? I am trying not to let that friend see where I am living now because i dont want to be around that person and have that person show up at the door. |

Posted: 29 Mar 2019 11:51 PM PDT Screw off mom. I'm tired of these stupid compliments. I dont trust her word cause shes a liar in other things so why not this? She's a bad mother too. She doesnt give a damn, doesnt believe in discipline, is selfish and neglectful. So just threw some stupid empty lies in my ear to throw me off her trail. 'Youre beautiful. Those girls may be jealous'... 'What if your boyfriend envies your beauty' GO AWAY. I cant even trust my own mom. Guys lie about your beauty to get into your skirt, thats screwed up and wrong too. |

Question: Is it wrong to use her? Posted: 29 Mar 2019 10:25 PM PDT I've known this girl since we were 11-12. We're 28 now. I am her two sons' Godmother and "aunt". Back in June, there was a lot of drama and it became clear how toxic her and her boyfriend were. In October, after my mom passed away, I realized life was short and got back in contact with this girl. Everything was going fine until about a month ago when she tried to bring up the drama from June. I didn't reply until tonight. I told her all that drama is in the past and I'm not worried about it anymore. Truthfully, she is still toxic and so is her boyfriend, at the end of the day, but her kids are my Godsons and I love them as if they were my real nephews. Her oldest turns 8 in May and I'd like to go to the birthday party and see my boys again. Is it wrong to use her to spend time with my Godsons? I will always love HER, but can't see us ever being friends again. She's not even invited to my wedding next year. |

Question: How to get over old friends? Posted: 29 Mar 2019 07:03 PM PDT Most of my friends were toxic people who didn't actually care about me so I cut ties with then. I basically cleaned house of people who were bad for me but now I have no one and I feel lonely and sad. I wish my old friends actually cared about me and were back. They admittedly just used me for money. How do you make new friends and get over old ones? |
