Posted: 13 Mar 2019 08:51 PM PDT I feel so betrayed. I thought we could reconcile. I looked at her social media and he is showering her with gifts, trips etc. Why would a man sleep with someone else if he is about to get engaged? |
Posted: 13 Mar 2019 08:05 PM PDT In my mid 30s with 3 kids and a wife. I have constant worry. Took us 2 years to oay off credit cards. Literally the next day I found out my company isn't stable. It'sike there is always major stress or problems. I try to live in the present and not worry unless I need to. I do therapy and other ways to calm me down. I don't want this worry everyday and not sure what tricks to use. Any advice and do others feel this way ? |
Question: Do I just tell him the truth? Posted: 13 Mar 2019 07:42 PM PDT I've known my friend, let's call him Kyle, for 2 and a half years. We've been friends for 2 years and in May 2017, I fell in love with him. He's happily married and has a family. He's also 11 years older than me. Nothing has ever happened between us, we've never even hugged. My fiance and I haven't been together real long, but we know we love each other and are meant to be. For the past month or so, he's been teasing me about my friend (they've met and know each other) because he says I bring him up a lot. He refers to my friend as my "boyfriend" and says I blush and get all smiley when his name is brought up. Tonight, he basically said he didn't know why I wouldn't just tell him the truth, that I like my friend. He asked if my friend was single and wanted to be with me, would I choose him over him (my friend over my fiance). I said no. He just kind of laughed and shook his head. I'm like "you don't believe me", but he claims he does. I asked "If I DID like him, why would I tell you that?" and he said it would be okay if I did. Do I just tell him the truth, that yes I do have a thing for my friend or do I continue acting like I don't? Tonight, we were at Bible study at our church and we are planning to have both our wedding and the reception there. We decided on the reception being in their gym area and we walked over to the gym to look at it and Kyle was in there playing basketball with some young men. My fiance didn't notice him as we only took a glance, but later I was like "you know Kyle was in there...playing basketball" and he's like "oh, so THAT'S why you wanted to go to the gym." HE was the one who wanted to go look |
Question: Do you think my ex did this on purpose? Posted: 13 Mar 2019 07:41 PM PDT I added her on instagram a month ago,. We broke up a decade ago. It wasn't a civilized breakup. She ignored it and I didn't think much of it. I just wanted to catch up for old times but I figured she doesn't so, I let it be. Today a month later, I got a call from a number I didn't recognize.. but it stopped after 2 rings. When I opened my phone, I realized it was a whatsapp call and so I figured let's see if there's a picture in the profile.. and it turned out to be a picture of my ex. |

Posted: 13 Mar 2019 05:25 PM PDT My son is six, eve since he was born i told people i do not want more kids. they have made my life impossible by trying to push me to have another kid. everytime they get, the "when are you getting pregnant" question comes out of their mouths. Im tired and i swear im abut to lose my cool and tell them off. I dont want to be disrespectful, but their asking for it. Why is is so hard for them to understand that i don want more children? I have talked to my husband, and im contemplating to walk away from him, so he can look for someone that can give him more kids. S his family can be ok. He is ok with us having only one. but i feel awful for him. |
Posted: 13 Mar 2019 02:20 PM PDT He is a good guy otherwise, but I have no experience living with somebody with depression. |

Posted: 13 Mar 2019 02:02 PM PDT My married boss and I had been flirting for the last month. Last week he found out I am seeing someone. Since then he has been short with me. Won't talk to me or look at me. Yesterday when the fire alarm went off I was on my phone outside at the assembly point. He hung back and waited for me but then went back to being cold with me. He gets anxious when I am on my phone too. |

Question: Am I being too demanding? Posted: 13 Mar 2019 01:11 PM PDT My girlfriend is recently divorced from her ex husband and they have a child together. I understand he will always be in the picture and they have to coparent peacefully, but she still has her mail delivered to his address and has no plans to change that. He also has a key to her apartment. I called her the other day and she said her ex was coming over to help her put her new bed together. I told her I dont feel comfortable with this and she yelled at me about being controlling and nobody tells her what to do? I am not a controlling person at all. Her ex husband was very controlling and I think she is somewhat traumatized by it and is projecting it onto me. Am I being unreasonable or do I have a right to tell her this has to stop? |
Posted: 13 Mar 2019 12:32 PM PDT I need advice for how to hep my co-worker because she spent months venting to me about how her ex broke her heart and now she's suddenly praising him and is friends with him. She told me he cheated on her, she said he ruined her, she moved out of her parents house and got a place with him and then things fell apart and she had to move out and lost her security deposit and messed up her credit. She literally cried in the bathroom at work and said she lost the love of her life, then she went through a stage of saying he was a narcissist. Now suddenly she's liking all of his photos, promoting his business on her facebook page, she's hanging out with him and his family and she posted "What does this mean, "I'll never hate on your happiness, even if it means you had to find it without me" I just dont get it. I've helped her through all of this and feel like I wasted my time and I'm not going to be sympathetic this time around. She says she isnt hating on his happiness that he found without her yet she's trying desperately to get him back. She seems fake and I really don't want to listen to her whining if she keeps chasing this guy |
Posted: 13 Mar 2019 11:59 AM PDT We've been married for the last 3 years and he has been verbally and emotionally abusive to me on a weekly basis sometimes every 2 days for at least 2 years straight. The longest we have gone without sex amidst the abuse has been 2 weeks. The longest we have gone without abuse was 1 month once. Other than those 30 days he took off from abuse it has been continual. Though it's been really hard emotionally I always push through and try to be gracious and try to forgive and I end up giving in and being intimate with him at least weekly sometimes the next day after he abuses me..... but I'm 37 weeks pregnant and uncomfortable and I really am tired of being abused about my fibromyalgia and every aspect of who I am as a person wife and mother. So I have not given sex for 2 weeks while I try to heal from this cycle of abuse he claims is over for good. But now. He told me hes tempted to watch porn because hes so horny. It's only been 2 weeks and I think he should be more focused on healing our marriage than on getting off. Am I wrong? |

Question: What are the psychological effects of successful monogamous relationships in children? Posted: 13 Mar 2019 09:40 AM PDT Children are supposedly better off if their parents are in a monogamous relationship, right? That is, assuming it's a 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺 monogamous relationship. The problems with polyamory stem from society's view of it, and the way we all behave. If a child is born to a polyamourous couple, are the negative phsycological effects inherently from polyamory, or from comparison to monogamous aquaintances and expectations stemmed from society? If it was the norm to be polyamourous, would children still be psychologically worse? All of the "problems" I've read about polyamory stem from children and/or divorce. But the divorce factor relies on the presumption that the members would be married. *Who gets what I'm a divorce?* is what I commonly see, but why the marriage in the first place? |
Question: How do I ask my fiancée to tease me? Posted: 13 Mar 2019 09:19 AM PDT We're not having sex until marriage. It was my decision but she's one of the sexiest women I've seen. Petite black hair tan skin asian eyes. I want her to tease me until our wedding day. I want her to have control. How do I ask without sounding like a creep |

Question: Worry about me? Or worry about us? Posted: 13 Mar 2019 06:53 AM PDT We've all made mistakes and mine happened early on in the relationship. I was a fool back then and I fully understand that karma is a b*tch. Time has actually gone by very quickly and I've learned to avoid any negativity and mind my own. Lately, I've been so hard on myself but I don't know how else to be. I've also become very depressed. The past few years (8-10 yrs) we've never had a pregnancy scare. Now that I am seeking help for PCOS, my NEW doctors want to know my BFs medical history. We started talking about this last night (vaguely) and I asked him, since this is journey we are going to have to go on together, what kind of doctor would you like to see: young, old, what side of town…ect? His reply – "I don't know what makes you think you could just have a baby." So, that just broke my heart because why else would I be in this relationship, trying so hard to impress him, taking care of him (his house, his dogs)… I don't feel he understands that this is a 2-way street so when I try to talk about what he could do to help me/us, he just gets very frustrated. I don't know what to do anymore. I know what I must find a doctor to help with my PCOS but what about the infertility journey. Do I just find the strength to leave him, because at 30 years old how much longer can I wait to actually try these fertility treatments. Sorry, I couldn't or haven't been able to conceive naturally. |

Question: How can I make my wife feel better ? Posted: 12 Mar 2019 06:32 PM PDT My wife was watching a show about one of her favorite country singers John Denver she started to cry at the end of the show. She was only 4 when he died I was 10 months old when he passed I don't really remember. We grew up listening to country music especially old country he's probably our favorite. We live in Ohio not far from West Virginia every time we drive through there we always play or sing Take Me Home Country Roads that's her favorite song by him but it's just mainly her favorite song ever. She's got it as her ringtone. We even get the West Virginia PBS station which is what she's watching it on. She wants to go to Colorado she wants to see the Rocky Mountains also shes heard theres a John Denver memorial there she wants to gosee it. I don't know why she's crying I don't know if it's because she misses him or if some of the songs make her cry. How can I help her feel better ? Her older brother is named John named after him |
