Question: Why do some girls date bums? Posted: 24 Mar 2019 03:44 PM PDT My niece is 19 studying to become a doctor. Extremely smart really gorgeous but she's dating this guy who dropped out of school and has no job job. She says he wants to start his own business...ok whatever. And he makes her happy and makes her cry because they love each other so much but all he does is go to the gym. |
Question: My dear friend really hurt me, how or showuld I even bring it up? Posted: 24 Mar 2019 02:11 PM PDT My friend lives far, she is my best friend. We are in our 20s. On friday night we had a rough fight ovee the phone, words were said by her that really hurt me. I understand it was late and she was exhausted but her words really affected me as she was getting the completely wrong message of a good thing I was trying to do The conversation ended with her saying a few mean things and they saying I love you and hanging up on me. I texted her after that phone call to let her know I was hurt simply by saying "You really hurt me with your words". She never answered. We have not talked since then but I know she is always one to call and be happy on the phone like nothing happed... When she calls I want her to really know that she really hurt my feelings but I don't know how. We both usually forgive and let go, we don't like to hold onto things, so I don't want her to think I don't forgive her but rather that I am hurt... Should i bring it up or just let myself get over the hurt and her words she said? ... if I bring it up, how? |
Posted: 24 Mar 2019 01:43 PM PDT Is it ok if you want people to leave you alone all the time and you want to be by yourself all the time? Especially if you have emotional problems |
Question: Why will a dad will help friends out but not his own kids? Posted: 24 Mar 2019 11:13 AM PDT Why is it that some dad's will help their friends out without giving it a second thought, but when it comes to their kids they make excuses? I'm taking our kids to Disney world and asked their dad if he could watch the kids dog for 5 days, he said he couldn't because it would cost him $500 to keep. His friend had asked him if he could watch their dog for 2 months while they found a place to live and he had no problem. That dog ate his carpet, furniture, the dog parents stole his checks, etc. My kids dog is potty trained and is being trained to be a service dog for our son. |
Posted: 24 Mar 2019 10:08 AM PDT I am 17 and he's 21, we have a really old fashioned type of relationships (as I come from a conservative family) but I really wish they could make a little exception this time causw he lost his dad (and he already lost his mom at 13). He's depressed, doesnt want to speak, has bad mood and wants to be alone. My boyfriend was usually a bit like that, with this sadness lying in the background. He's the best guy ever but has been through a lot (his parents loss, the hardships at school, he had bad relationships with the spoiled guys of our town, cause at school he was bullied although he's the best, most responsible and most gorgeous guy on earth. They called his mother names, he got mad and almlst tried to choke the guy who did it. He was expelled and has no more friends of his age, just some migrant coworkers of his thay he meets at the bar). I see that he's sad though he doesnt want to talk. The day I knew about his dad I went to him and cried together with him and told him tha from now on he his my family and I will stand forever by him. My parents are sad about it but dont wanna leave me a few days at his place, just until his pain goes away just a little.they dont even want him to be with me at our home for a few days, because they fear. Mom is a bit more open, but dad gets mad if I just bring it up. I just want to hold him and comfort him, cook meals for him and hug him if he cries at night. He lives alone now. I thought about marrying him but I dont know if it's right |

Question: Future distance-relationship with boyfriend? Posted: 24 Mar 2019 06:56 AM PDT My boyfriend and I have been together for more and less 10 months. I consider this to be my first real relationship. We are both universities students and I, as international student, met him at his home town. We are the same age but our university programs are different. I am in my second year and next year it will be my last, whereas he will have 2 more years ahead. For his third year he has to undertake an exchange experience and so he would need to move to another place for the entire year. Because of time and money I am not sure it will be possible to visit each other during that period. I am already concern for this future situation, and as inexpert relationship wise, I would really need an advice.... How could we possibly deal with that? |
Question: Is marriage just a thing to do whena man settles in life? Posted: 24 Mar 2019 02:12 AM PDT If a man is employed and obligated to long hours, is his getting married not just a product of the system he finds himself in? Whereas if he were a self made millionaire, not obligated to answer to anyone, he would not give the same woman a second glance. Because she is really beneath him. Thoughts? |
Question: Did humans get richer or poor than in the past? Posted: 23 Mar 2019 08:03 PM PDT It seems we are richer because we have digital TVs, internet devices and et cetera, but it seems that in the past essential things like housing were pretty afordable, today it's not affordable for most people and also people used to have a lot of children back in the days, and it doesn't like that these children lived shity lives, no most of them were well provided by their fathers, and their mothers didn't have to work to provide for them, their job were to be full time moms, but today even in a holsehold were the two parents work it's difficult to raise even only one or two children. So it makes me think if we are really getting richer or poorer. |
Question: Why did this random woman yell at my dad and I in the parking lot? Posted: 23 Mar 2019 06:28 PM PDT We were walking towards target minding our own business and this random lady (that me and my dad don't know) lowers her car window and starts yelling at us and everyone one else can hear her. She was cussing at us, asking to fight and even at one point threatening to shoot us, also calling us "dumb Mexicans". We have never met this woman in our life and didnt do anything to provoke her. Why would she act this way towards us? @quentin and @verulam 1 he honestly doesn't know her |
