I am working at a hospital now and there are several attractive young ladies, but I don't know how to approach them and find a way to get to know them. I just feel bad that I have gotten this far and haven't come up with a way to really sweep a woman off her feet, or even get to the point where I can have a "successful" dating life. There are people my age (I am 33 years old) who are married and having children, and I don't even have anything going on. She plays more than I do.... but I am still playing at least 5 nights a week.... for five years. If I ask to borrow an item - instead of saying, "No I am out' or 'Yes, here" She always ramps up into a huge lecture of how to find them, where to find them, how to steal them, or where to earn them. As she is going on, and on, I will tell her, "I know that", "I know that" and eventually I raise my voice with, "Hey, I have played this game before, you know?" That makes her mad and she's stay pissed for days. I have learned to never, never, ever ask her a question. The game is not the only time she does this. She complains I walk away when she is talking - I do - when I get a lecture about something I know about. How to fix this? Sitting for 10 minutes listening to her telling the same thing she said yesterday is not an option. |
