Posted: 26 Mar 2019 02:20 PM PDT Some secrets this terrifying aunt knows, other ones are secrets only I am entrusted with the knowledge of. I will be seeing this aunt come summer. Real concern, not trolling. |
Posted: 26 Mar 2019 02:18 PM PDT Both evil friends live in the town. One is horrible about hitting on married men and the other is a cruel human being who tries to break apart my Mom's extended family by turning sister on sister with gossip. The slut I don't mind as much as the cruel human. So what should I do about this? I don't want to blow off Mom and Dad but I hate seeing these two women especially the one who tries to turn siblings vs. sibling in my Mom's family cause of some sick narcissistic desire. |
Question: Stay at home Mom’s how do you relax when you have time? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 02:18 PM PDT My husband will have Saturdays off now. So it will be spend time with daddy day thankfully. Any tips? |
Question: Was it weird for me a boy (13) to shower with the boy (6) I babysit? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 01:09 PM PDT His dad said it was okay and I'm not a pedophile or anything. We just both needed one and it was almost time for bed. I thought it would only be weird if he were a girl. We were both boys and just showered. His dad let us have privacy. I told his dad that he can't see me naked because he was a grown up. But Ty (the 6 year old) was little and I was okay around him. I locked the bathroom door so no one would walk in on us (including his dad) while we were naked. We both stripped. I believe this was okay. Plus I'm going through some "changes" right now and I really don't want anyone other than a kid to see me. So we got naked and Ty just kept staring at what was up front. He said "You have public hair." I laughed and said "It's pubic buddy." I thought it was cute but weird too. But we showered and that was it. I as well as his dad saw no harm in it. All we did was get naked together. He made a few comments about my bottom and privates but other than that I thought it was harmless. |
Question: How do I tell my parents I no longer want to play guitar? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 01:07 PM PDT Every Tuesday my day gets ruined when I remember I have guitar. I don't enjoy it anymore. My parents forced me to start playing because I do absolutely nothing besides sit at home. I'm going to get a job this summer and am about to get my license. My dad loves guitar, it's basically all he does with his free time. And I don't think he'll let me quit. My mom probably will not either because like I said, I do basically nothing else. |
Question: How do I tell my parents I started vaping? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 11:40 AM PDT So I'm 15 years old and the other day a friend of mine bought me a vape as a late birthday gift. After anilizing the thing carefully I decided to accept the gift and buy a nicotine free e-juice. The problem is that because I'm hiding it from my mum I'm feeling really guilty and I want to tell her when I come back from my school trip on Sunday but I really don't know if I should tell her o hide it because I'm afraid she might freak although she does smoke too. Ps. I leave for the trip tomorrow. PPS. I bought her an expensive pair of sunglasses that she really wanted and needed as a surprise since she's been going on about it for some time and I'm giving them to her tonight if it can be of any relevance. |
Question: How can I get my family to stop treating me like a baby because of my disability? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 11:27 AM PDT I'm a 19-year-old college student who happens to have a physical disability. I am looking into study abroad options, and I know that accessibility will be a challenge. My grandparents played a huge role in supporting me my whole life, but now I feel so defeated. They're adamantly opposed to the idea of me studying abroad, but when I ask them why, the only reasons they give are related to my disability. I feel so frustrated. I know that it is ultimately my decision at this point anyway, but I want this to stop. They don't seem to understand how it makes me feel. |
Question: How do I get over the fact that I am disappointment to my parents? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 11:14 AM PDT My parents moved to the USA in order to work their *** off to buy a home and support their children in exchange to see them succeed. I didn't take my studies seriously and got a degree in something not too practical so I ended up getting a job that pays mediocre and isn't too exciting. I'm irreligious and have been for years while they're extremely Catholicism. On top of that I'm not good with women and don't care for having a wife or children. it's like the trifecta of disappointment for them. |
Question: How to get over giving up a pet? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 11:12 AM PDT Hi, I adopted a kitten two months ago. I fell completely in love with her. She was simply the best thing that happened to me. I chose to adopt a pet was because I always struggled with depression and anxiety. I am not a very social person either. I am more comfortable with animals than people actually. Anyway, Cookie made me feel like my old self again. I just loved her unconditionally. The problem was that I live with my parents after I graduate from college. My mother is allergic to cats. She had a tough time around cookie. I kept cookie mostly in my room when I was home and let her out whenever my mother wasn't around. But my siblings and my family members started telling me that I shouldn't keep her because she was giving my mom a hard time among other things so eventually I started feeling guilty for keeping her. with a broken heart, I decided to find another home for her. But now I regret it. I regret it so much. My depression got even worse. I tried contacting the family but they ignored me. I thought if I explained my situation they would be understanding. But they never replied back to me. I am so heartbroken. I made such a huge mistake. Why didn't I fight harder for her? why did I listen to my family? I should have fought harder for her. I am so depressed. I don't think I will ever get over her. It's been couple of weeks now since she's been gone. How do I get over this? It's killing me. I lost my best friend. |
Question: How do I ask my mom about this? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 10:45 AM PDT I have seen my mom picking her nose, not washing her hands after going to the bathroom and not covering sneezes unless she knows I'm looking at her. My mom is in her 40's and she works for a hospital so she knows better. I don't know how to confront her about it though. And after she does these things she want to hug me and touch my hands and it's really gross and I don't want her to. So how do i get her to stop? |

Posted: 26 Mar 2019 10:00 AM PDT so i'm his mother and so basically we got in an argument and my son is 32 and so because i told him i don't want him with his wife anymore because i don't find her attractive in my opinion and he said he loves her and we fought and fought and i ended up striking him across the face and rage and he left my house and said we are over and he blocked me off everything. i can't believe he's do this!!! i'm his blood mother!! i'm crying while writing this |
Posted: 26 Mar 2019 08:45 AM PDT So I'm a senior 18 in high school a few months from graduation I have a job so I don't really have any friends or places to go to but I can always go to my sister's apartment and live with her but she's too far from my school and job (4-5 hr walk) and I don't wanna be too far and my mom refuses to let me back in she even put a brick in front of the gate I had to knock on the door a 100 times just to get my lotion and deodorant I could go to my ex's house but I don't feel like dealing with her I don't get paid until next monday and I keep having to go from bathroom to bathroom of 24 hour gas stations just to get some sleep or sneak in mom's backyard and sleep on a chair without her noticing |
Posted: 26 Mar 2019 07:41 AM PDT I don't want to cut all contact as he is selfish and has done that before and it just causes more hurt. My Dad is not good to me even though he used to be. I am an adult out on my own by the way. I am 34. |
Posted: 26 Mar 2019 07:39 AM PDT I am posting this anonymous so I can share the secret. We all know in my family that my sister got pregnant and miscarried in 2014. She was 17 at the time and had left home. Well she revealed to me that she had the baby in 2014 and that is why she had left home. She placed the child up for adoption. On top of that she revealed that at 16, one year prior, she had an abortion and deeply regrets it. Recently she said she miscarried at 3 months. Thus, she has been pregnant 3 times by 3 guys. Now my sister is known for lying so I guess it is possible she is making this up. I cannot imagine her making up such a thing however. Her lies are fibs to get out of conflict, not something of this magnitude. So I am not going to tell anyone and on here am marking anonymous even though no one in my family uses this site. However, when word does get out one day, if it does, how do I respond to my mother's rage that I had not told her? I am the "Golden Child" and the oldest daughter. Our brother is the middle child and then this sister, child 3, is the black sheep. However, I feel for her as our mother has been cruel and our father suffered from alcoholism before dying. Our sister was raped as a kid by our uncle on numerous occasions until she reported it and we cut all ties with him and so that may be why she is drawn to unstable men. I don't think our sister is bad even though she makes mistakes. Any advise? |
Question: My mother lied about her in-laws to her mother. Do I call my Mom out on her lie? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 07:32 AM PDT This was a medium level lie. She was bearing false witness and thus in mortal sin. |
Question: My mom stole money from my dad and denies it .. what do I do ?! ? Question: Should you check your son's underwear for stains? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 06:25 AM PDT Do you check your son underwear for stains. I think he can be a teenager and you should still check. |
Posted: 26 Mar 2019 02:22 AM PDT My parents are divorced and live in different states. Ive been living with my dad my whole life and His side of the family. But I really want to move in with my mom although I'll miss my friends and especially my dad. I'm scared to ask especially because my sister moved with my mom without even telling my dad when she was 18 and I don't want them thinking I'm following in her footsteps. |
Question: What is a good age to be hated by your parents? Posted: 26 Mar 2019 12:04 AM PDT I have been thinking about telling my parents that I'm not Christian and I want to know if I should wait . I know that they will hate me after that because when my sister tried to leave at the age of 20 they go mad a tried to break her arm . I'm 17 and a girl |
Question: Parents trying to tell my sister how to dress? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 10:49 PM PDT My little sister (16) and I both have very curvy figures for white girls and both have very plump booties and small waists. Shes now dressing the way she wants and that means like me she likes wearing very tight Jean's, high heels, and shirts that show off our figures. My parents did this with me too til I moved out on my own, but they try to tell her she cant dress that way because it will draw the wrong attention from guys. They're very conservative and would probably disown her if they knew how many times shes already had sex. My mom dressed the same at her age! What should my sister do? Help! |
Question: How do I cope with being grounded until I'm 18? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 09:56 PM PDT Currently 17, turn 18 in august. I am not allowed a social life and my mother is extremely controlling. How can I make the time go by quicker. Don't suggest working bc I already have a part time job + dchool and the days seem long and grueling |
Question: My next door neighbors spying on me? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 09:28 PM PDT My room is connected to these elderly Filipino couple and their obnoxious teenage grandson who tells his grandma to s*ck his d*ck a lot when they are arguing every day. The grandpa would come by my window and make these weird, out of breath sound as if he's sick, or hurt. But when he walks around his area he doesn't make a peep. His grandson attempted to take photo's of me when I was showering. I confronted him and he denied it. Cops came and he lied to them as well. I had no evidence, sadly. The grandmother is insane too. Here's the thing. The walls are thin and we can hear each other. I get paranoid that there is a possibility that they planted a video camera somewhere, but it's impossible not to see it. Maybe a mic? Man, I'm paranoid as hell. Is there a way they can bug my room without me noticing? There's always something about them that make me believe that they are. The answer to how the kid takes photo of me showering; there is a sliding window, and I accidentally forgot to shut it because I was tired from work, and I was in a hurry to go to sleep. He and his friend were pointing their phones at me, and I don't know if they were able to shoot my bottom half. |

Question: I want to go on a trip solo, but my sister wants to come with me. What should I do? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 07:12 PM PDT So it has been on top of my bucket list to visit Japan. I've been planning a trip out since November, and even bought tickets to an event there. I plan to leave in September. However, I decided to tell my sister about my upcoming trip, and she pretty much invited herself along - even bought a ticket to the event I'm going to. Now the thing is, I've been on two trips with my sister in the past 7 months. On both trips, she was EXTREMELY grumpy, negative, and judgmental. We were in Bali early this month, and she made the trip sooo draining. She kept talking down on their culture, kept complaining about the rain, was very argumentative even to the point my mom almost got in an argument with her, etc. We're about to be in Japan, a place that I know she'll be judgmental of. I don't know what to do nor say. I even feel like cancelling this trip and try next year 😔. What should I say? |
Posted: 25 Mar 2019 06:25 PM PDT I'm happy hanging around my boyfriend but i don't know why i feel so drained and aggravated when i come from work. I have the easiest job ever as a Sub, i only pass out busy word and call roll with the students. I guess it's cause i don't like kids idk?? its not my ideal job, it's easy money but i just don't like kids and their attitudes. Also when i have to socialize at work or just be around a lot of people i feel very drained and unhappy. I get a peace of mind from being alone or being with my boyfriend. most of the time, if i'm not at work or the grocery store i'm at home. I don't like going to parties or huge gatherings where its a lot of people that i have to talk to. Even at work i feel drained from trying to socialize and talk to people. also i sleep about 9 hours a day so i do get enough sleep even after getting 9 hours of sleep i barely can get out of the bed and feel a wash of depression once i get up and have to go to work |
Question: Does the phrase “I’m just tired” have multiple meanings? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 06:25 PM PDT I ran into a cousin I don't see too often and I asked the pretty general question of "How are you?" She responded by saying "Fine, just tired." Seeing as she's only 18, I chuckled and jokingly said "Tired? What do you have to be tired of?" Her smile faded off and she looked discouraged. She then looked up with a sort of forced smile and said, "Yeah, guess you're right." We had small talk for not too long after but she seemed a little off after I made the comment. Did I offend her? What did that "I'm tired" meean? |
Question: Which of these 3 women is most moral and what is your religion? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 06:21 PM PDT Woman 1) receives a bouquet of flowers from the man she loves. She sits down by the fireplace to smell them, then notices a caterpillar on them. she hates bugs so in a panic tosses the bug and flowers to the fire. Woman 2) hates bugs too, less squeamish, she picks up the bug with her fingers and tosses it into the fire and continues to smell the flowers Woman 3) the most tender-hearted, she won't destroy the flowers or hurt the bug, she gently sets them down and finds the man who gave her the flowers, and shoves him into the fireplace instead. |
Posted: 25 Mar 2019 06:18 PM PDT I'm 26 and for years me and my dad have gone grocery shopping every saturday together, its an all day event and how we bond. I'll miss this when i move. Also, my mom doesn't know how to cook so i'm the only one that can cook my dad meals |
Question: How to get my phone back at night? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 06:09 PM PDT I'm 15 and my mom is taking my phone at night. Okay so what started this: I have very bad depression and anxiety... I'm currently getting help for it but I haven't made much progress. The only thing that really helps me cope is my gf. The problem is that she lives 1k miles away. We mostly talk at night but we usually fall asleep around 12:30 (11:30 her time) my mom knows about her and knows that she has prevented me from committing suicide several times and has completely talked me out of self harming. My gf sometimes gets sad at night so I set an alarm for 2am (1am her time) to make sure she's sleeping and doing well. Most of the time she is and I just go right back to sleep. My mom however has noticed that my phone bill says I'm using data at 2am and thinks my gf is keeping me up. I've tried explaining otherwise. I've never done too well in school (even before I met my gf ) and she's blaming my "lack of sleep" on my failing grades. She takes my phone every night at 10 now. This has been happening for three weeks now and I have been having anxiety attacks and crying myself to sleep each night. My mental health has been so bad. I don't know what to do, I've been working so hard to bring my grades up and now she's blaming my gf for my depression. I tried to compromise and say I'll pay my own phone bill if I can keep it and she said absolutely not so now she's making sure I won't have any source of income so I can't pay it. I'm so lost and everything just seems so hopeless... |
Posted: 25 Mar 2019 05:41 PM PDT My sister is 21 (soon to be 22) and wants to go to medical school. She is a senior in college (4th year) and will graduate in May this year. If she were to move out and permanently settle at a home after she graduated, how old would she be? I am really worried, because I do not want her to move out of the house before I am an adult, since it would make me lonely, bored, depressed, and it would feel unfair, because most kids are only 20 or so when their older siblings move out of the house. |
Question: I’m hurt and he always do this? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 05:40 PM PDT My daughter is a little over a year old and I had extremely bad postpartum where I didn't want to be alone with my son, I didn't bond or love him right away. I knew something wasn't right so I went to my doctor. We bonded and I love her and it hunts me about the way I felt and acted towards her back then and when me and her father get into it that's the first thing he says and it makes me cry because I feel Just because me and my daughter didn't bond right away doesn't mean my love for her is any less than his love for her.. |
Question: WHY in the WORLD would a couple take a child even a very young kid to a romantic place? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 05:15 PM PDT |
Question: What can I do if other kids bully and mock me for being adopted? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 03:44 PM PDT I'm 13 and it's usually the older neighbor kids who do this. It makes me feel embarrassed and weird about it all. My mom told me to ignore it. |
Question: Am I really wrong for sending a one word text like this? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 03:22 PM PDT So during the morning, I am explaining to my teenage brother through text how we have packed a spoon for him, how he is expected to eat the food cereal-style. He is in high school and reads all our texts in the minute that they are sent. So I drop off my younger brother's lunch and I text "sent". He reads it within a minute (or less), but he does not ask me at ALL what it is that was sent. However, since he did not eat my parents blame it on me regarding sending a text that says "sent" but they do not reprimand him for not asking for a clarification and not even texting and asking where his lunch is (and yes he can text at lunch at his school). Is it really my fault when he CLEARLY knew that there was food coming? I sent a text earlier that said "plastic spoon will be inside" and "we will provide a bottle" How much more detailed do I have to be? He has had lunch dropped off before. |
Posted: 25 Mar 2019 02:48 PM PDT So my step mom just came home and was complaining about how she "Had to clean the house again" because it was messy even though she cleaned literally all day yesterday and I barley came out of my room today that way i didn't make a mess, I did my usual chores and she was still mad, what made me upset was that she never came to me and told me what i did wrong, she just walked by my room and was talking to herself about everything that wasn't done (btw it was really dumb cause she was upset about a towel that was left on the bathroom counter) maybe I'm just being a stupid 17 year old but idk |
Posted: 25 Mar 2019 02:38 PM PDT Hi. I'm a 16 year old boy and I'm very depressed. I have a vision impairment that does not and will never allow me to drive. I have been looking forward to driving ever since I was little, so not being able to was a punch in the gut, especially since everyone is driving now, it's kind of necessary where I live, and my younger brother will be driving soon too, leaving me excluded. I go to a private school that is very good. I have decent grades but my mom is always pushing for more and more. Also, my family is very divided. We all live together, but there is this feeling of sides and it shows. My mom seems like she gets along with my brother and will do anything with him. My dad seems like he's on my side, but he's not really here a lot due to his work demands. With this divided feeling, I have not been able to enjoy myself that much. We only travel once every 6 months, and really only go grocery shopping and other necessary trips for things we need. I'm finding that YouTube is my escape now, being able to virtually go anywhere. However, my mom is constantly on me so I can't even enjoy that because of a fear of getting "caught." Meanwhile, my brother gets to play Xbox and watch YouTube and tv, and I don't even know how to use our tv which we've had for 2 years now. I'm just so done and thinking about going to a therapist which I probably won't even be able to do, and I heard it doesn't even help you. I've tried getting a tutor for keeping my grades up to no avail. Also my mom got very good grades so possibly she expects the same from me. We also had a big fight today and my brother was assisting her in telling me what to do and how to act. |
Question: Do my mom and I live like animals? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 12:25 PM PDT i'm 24. We argue every day. It gets loud enough that even neighbors can hear it. I don't work. I could wake up late and she wouldn't care. I think if I were to lie down sleeping and dreaming the whole day, she wouldn't care the. Mommy still prepares my meals every time so I don't need to cook. She washes my dishes and cleans the house. I still cuddle with mom in bed. I could jump on her bed and lay next to her and cuddle with her at 3 in the morning and she wouldn't care. I still whine like a baby. When I leave the house, I could walk out the door not saying a word. And she wouldn't know where I was going. |
