I loved him and enjoyed my time with him. The last couple of years were weird because I was going to school and work in another state and we were barely seeing each other except on the weekendsand holidays. I felt bad about it but he kept insisting that we continue the relationship. Last year a close friend of mine passed away and it traumatized me. My friend's death gave me an epiphany that if something were to happen to me no one would be there to help me. So I decided to move with my family to another state to be closer to them. He understood my decision but was still upset that I was leaving. I wanted to spend the last time with him doing something fun before it was time for me to leave. But we couldn't because he was having a difficult time dealing with it. He wouldn't return my calls and when he did it was only for a few seconds. There was one point when I was back in our hometown and I asked him if he wanted me to come over and talked but he said no. I asked him why he was doing this. He kept apologizing and said he needed time to deal with it and wanted to visit me. Four months passed and it was almost time for me to leave. I tried to call him one last time and he didn't answer the phone. That made me so angry because we were together for so long just to ghost me in the end. I have moved on and continue on with my life but there are times when I get mad at him for not giving me any closure and it really bothers me. |

We work in a bar and it can be pretty narrow so we tend to tap each other on the shoulder to let us we're getting past, but she'll keep her hand there (or on your arm) for what feels like a second longer than it should, or if she's talking to you and laughing she'll put her hand on your arm for a moment. The other day I waiting for her to finish pouring a pint so I could pour one and she made a joke and she put her hand on either my hip or lower back for a second whilst laughing - I was pretty much directly facing her standing kinda close so she had to stretch her arm out to touch me there, wasn't entirely subtle to me. Posted: 19 Mar 2019 05:09 PM PDT We've been talking since last summer but we stopped here and there but we finally spoke more eventually and eventually we really opened up with each other about personal matters.....I don't like to trust anyone I'm quite the reserved person but I just opened up with her and I told her a few things I don't tell others and as did she with me....she's told me things that she hasn't told others and trust me more then most people in her life..I never expected to catch feelings for her I just expected her to be another girl/person I spoke to casually but I just felt like I could trust her with my own stuff....After a while I did feeling something here and there but now it's just like I really like her sometimes but I have to tell myself not to.....I don't know if she might like me back at least to some extend....she's never really dated anyone or from what I've learned about her she has some standards of what she wants....though I don't know specifically what they are but....I'm probably not in them.....she cares for me as a friend deeply and as do I because her life isn't all that great....and shes really depressed a lot of the times but she told me that when she speaks to me she feels happier and smiles. It means a lot to me but I don't know what to do.....I don't think I should like her more then a friend because I don't think she'd want to date me....maybe I want her to like me back but I don't know what to do besides just be her friend and listen to her and care as I have... |
