A girl that I met at one fashion show I attended was the one who told me about it and even said if I have no place to stay in NY I can stay with her aunt. I barley know this girl but we've had each other on Instagram since we met (last year) and accasionly talk here and there about modeling stuff. She's a signed model as well, not one of those big time models that's on bill boards or anything but she does fashion shows and shoots. That's something I'm interested in and really want to experience. The thing is I'm now in Florida and also I'm planning for my birthday which is coming up in two weeks. When the time was right I reached out and we actually spoke ok the phone and he told me that he realized he isn't ready for a relationship..because of his bad past in a 4 yr relationship. I was so disappointed because he's scared.. at the same time he kept saying a lot of scenarios...and then saying later we can try when I'm ready. We talk everyday. It won't be the whole day because I feel like he doesn't want to get attached because he likes me. He still calls me cute and all and we'll text every second..I just feel like one minute we're hot.. and then we are cold because like I said I think he doesn't want to get attached.. but yeah. He was always coming to talk to me. When I couldn't get to the clinic and I needed a nurse, he would tell the nurse he wanted to speak to me and take the phone from her. He would come to apt where I lived and before he went to see other participants he would always check on me and sit and talk and sometimes it was 3-4 times a day--hugs were longer than a friendly hug. when he went on vacation he would tell me his plans. he would also say he missed me. But now he says our relationship was just nurse and "participant" nothing else. I told him I was quitting the day center/clinic where he worked. He wanted me to stay---I said I was giving up the clinic but not him--he said good and don't give up on the program either. I take it he doesn't want me to give up on him. What do I do now---give up or wait to see what happens? He has also whispered he loved me and he said I smelt good. I think he cares for me than just as a friend. I've known this guy for about 1 year so I kinda know what he doesn't usually do, so that's what I'm going to specify here. First thing that I noticed is that one day as I'm walking to my class and I hear him saying "hi", mind me I arrived late, still I thought it probably wasn't for me and that it was probably for a friend of his. One day goes by, and I arrive late again, he was in the hallway walking towards our classroom, he turns around like he was looking for someone, but then looks at me while turning back around, and then once again turns around and says "good morning " to me. Now I specify this because he normally says "good morning/hi" colectively to the group and never to only one person. Second thing, one day a classmate from last year came to our school and naturally me being me I went and joked around with him, I'm really loud and speak with a different tone when I'm joking to make sure everyone knows I'm joking, I said "Hey, How did you enter?" to that classmate (which is also a guy), and he answered to me kinda in a loud tone but it seemed he was more annoyed than anything (when you kinda have a outburst because you've been hiding your emotions (I have a story with that so I know what it's like), but what he answer was something along of "Through the door of course.", before that I was joking around with a group of guys I normally hang out with, again I never saw him ever speak like that. (The last point happened before) |

After she said this, I pulled back, because why continue pursuing her? Then she would start hitting me up more. I would try to flirt with her but she never reciprocated. But whenever I would just keep it platonic and talk to her like anyone else, SHE would flirt. After a week or two of this, I finally called our friendship quits and told her I needed to move on completely. It doesn't stop there. In person, she would stare at me and give me long smiles. I paid her little mind. She would still keep trying to talk to me. I gave in and we ended up kicking it at her apartment. We were just talking and then I noticed something: she was telling me so much about herself, but did not ask a single question about me. He's one of the people in charge of that group but he asks me from time to time, if I'm gonna show up to some of the main events. Is he trying to become my friend or just making sure I'm present?
