Here's a brief synopsis: We became friends in a class we had together last semester, and we coordinated having one together again this semester; we come in together, sit together, leave together. After class I even drive him to student housing, since it's on my way out (I commute to campus), and it's usually dark by then; we have that brief time (no more than 5 minutes) to just talk about whatever. But that's it. I want to get to the point where we can hang out outside of class, but I'm having touble trying to establish that. I like him a lot, but I feel like I'm not given the chance to really show him the type of person I am, since we're always in a classroom environment. It's funny because we even come from the same town (he lives about ten minutes from my neighborhood), so we have the opportunity to hang out during school breaks, too. Now its been 5 years since high school, and we work at the same job together, but work different days, see each other every now and then and chat and work on stuff. (She's the only girl that works there the most and the only one I really see, and recently I started to like her again, but there's a few things stopping me. Last January, I found Skype calls between the two of them when he explicitly said he "hasn't spoken a word to her." When I confronted him about it, he still tried to lie about it. We separated for a bit because I couldn't stand his lying. After showing him the evidence, he admitted to talking to her but that they were only catching up. I believed him and we ended up staying together, even though I lost some trust in him. Fast forward to the present, a couple days ago I found some emails on my laptop (he was logged in) between him and his ex around the time of the incident in January. They were talking about him visiting her (she's in another state) and having sex with her. He didn't tell her about me and called her "baby." When I confronted him about this, he tried to lie again but this time I immediately showed him the evidence. The first thing he said after a pause was, "I can't get over her." Now, we're still together because he says he prefers me over her but she's like "a drug" to him. I want to stay with him but I find myself constantly thinking about her and being depressed. My boyfriend is very skinny for his height. He made it his personal goal to become overweight, as he put it. He normally comes whenever she gets off work which is around 4-5 pm. They eat dinner and then go upstairs and watch tv in the game room ( I don't allow her boyfriend in her room). She's 26. He's 30. They don't have their own place yet as they cannot afford it at the moment. I have to say sometimes it can be awkward when we we are all downstairs together because I don't feel like holding a conversation with him all of the time, especially once I get off work and just want to relax. My 18 year old son said I should leave and go on a date or something with his mom whenever her and her boyfriend are there so that it isn't so awkward. Because I m here always present, now he almost doesn t pass time with me. I asked to him for make things with me and he refused because he "needed" to be with his friends. | Question: Why is he so interested in my life? Posted: 14 Mar 2019 04:46 PM PDT I've been talking to this guy but he keeps saying he's been really busy as a reason why he can't meet up with me, he blows hot and cold with me. He says he's got a lot going on in his life with exams for his degree and a lot of work/studying. Last week he had a drink and said he's always had feelings for me and found me attractive and that he doesn't know why I'm annoyed with him. He said 'we both go quiet from time to time but go back to fancying each other like mad' he's gone quiet again but he takes a big interest in my life, if I'm going away a trip he will ask who with, how long for and where. If I've got a job interview he will want to know all about it, if I'm away out a night out he always wants to know where I'm going and stuff. I don't understand why he's so interested in my life if he won't make time to meet me, he says he plans on meeting me but things always get in the way. |
| Posted: 14 Mar 2019 04:43 PM PDT I like this kid we have 1 class together but we never talk ive had a crush on him for a while but never said anything to anyone but I have this friend and one day she was telling me she would maybe date my crush (she didn't know) if he likes her but he was not really her type so she didn't no,she hasn't talked about him for awhile and she has a crush on this other boy and there talking and stuff so I kinda want to go for the guy I like but I feel bad and like guilty for liking him when she liked him and I kinda think that's breaking the girl code any suggestions? |

| Question: I need advice , Should I be doing this ? Posted: 14 Mar 2019 04:34 PM PDT I am 17 and I am not in a good head space at all right now . I haven't been diagnosed with anything as I hate going to the doctors but I think I have some form of depression as I have been getting worse and it's going on for quite a while now . I won't get into all that but it's pretty dark I guess . I was talking to this boy I know and we met and kissed . I liked him alright but we began talking about sexual things and stuff and he asked if I was willing to do anything ( I am virgin he is not) I don't know if I should do anything with him as I feel anxious as hell and feel a bit pressured into it a little. Some advice would be good .i feel as though I am the only one who has basically no experience at all and then that makes me feel even worse. Should I just buck up and go for it. I know this is perosnall but it would be awkward going to anyone else about it and rather do so anonymously. |
