Question: There’s a mean girl in my class. What should I do? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 05:09 PM PST So I'm currently in college. This girl in my class has been giving me problems. From the start I never liked her and ignored her because she used to say rude things about me. She acts like she's still in high school. But I am still civil with her because we work together. recently she said something about me that has crossed the line. I've become very close with my roommates but not anymore. She said that I had a conversation with her and talked crap on my roommate about personal stuff (stuff that she knows about. They're old roommates). She made up a conversation that never happened. I was called out in the middle of class and was completely humiliated. She told multiple people saying "She said all of those things about her roommate. What do I do?" Just to make it seem like I actually said those things..I swore up and down to my roommate that she never said any of those things. She doesn't know whether to believe me or not when they know she never liked me to begin with I've explained to her that this girl is being manipulative and just wants to hurt us and that she is only pretending to be her friend. Now my roommates won't even walk with me to class anymore. They're even hanging out with her. I'm socially withdrawing myself from everyone because I'm having anxiety about going to class about being humiliated again..I'm stressed out and Idk how to handle it..It also bothers me that my roommates don't believe me because I'm starting to feel like they're not my real friends. |

Question: She quit her job and I feel bad. Help????? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 04:53 PM PST Hello I'm a dude and I was friends with this woman from work. For the past year we both worked in the same Department and her name is Lisa. Everyone including Lisa knew I had a big crush on her, but we were still friends. Every time we had the same shift we would always talk, I always felt like there was chemistry between us and she always stare at me. I made her smile so much but, she was married and I respect that. Later lots of drama began in our department, apparently a lot of coworkers thought it was very unprofessional the way that me and Lisa were acting around each other. So we got reported to the managers, the managers were really mad about the situation. Lisa's manager told her that if she keeps talking to me at work she could be fired. .. we would still talk a little bit behind everyone's back but I knew that Lisa was very stressed out about the situation. Everyone was keeping on us, so one day Lisa got super stressed out that she went to my manager. She told my manager that me being around her is making things worse. My manager put me on another floor far away from Lisa, my friends began telling me that Lisa had changed so much. She used to have an outgoing personality but now she doesn't talk to anyone. she always looks upset and she would always look at the ground. Its been 2 months since I was removed from her floor and I thought things would be over. But apparently she resigned few days ago!!!! like I don't understand what happened!!! could things have gone worse for her at work?????? I need some advice???? she had no intentions of leaving she was there for 13 years |
Question: Would this be a successful strategy to get me lots of likes on Instagram? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 04:30 PM PST If I take a picture in my car with my hair out, blowing in the wind, and saying "I love you" to my followers, with my boyfriend driving and shouting "whoo" in the background? |
Question: Gay friend had sex with my sister? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 02:52 PM PST I have a friend that I've known for 5 years and he's well gay. Last week I invited him over for a sleepover with is normal cause he stays over almost once or twice a week. But that specific night he left my room for an hour but I didn't pay much attention to it because I thought he left but I went to go look to see if he was still there and he was naked in bed with my sister. They both said they didn't do anything because he is gay and he said he just got into the wrong bed after using the bathroom but why else would he be naked ? He's 17 and she's 24. I feel like calling him out for lying to me? |
Posted: 05 Mar 2019 02:23 PM PST They were a so called friend of mine and got me things as gifts because they "loved me as a friend", they decided they didn't want to be friends anymore and is now saying I owe them $40 for the things (mainly food, except one thing), I'm only 15 and don't have a job. They never said they would want to be paid back or want anything back, I never got anything verbal or writen saying that I would need to pay back in anyway or anytime. They are harassing me about it over media and at school I blocked them on all media outlets but then their friend tried to get money from me for them on their accounts I blocked those and then their friend made another account trying again to get money from me. At this point I don't know what to do I don't have money or have anyway of getting money, and I don't think I owe them anything. What can I do to get them to stop? |

Question: How do I help my friend who seems ro have gone psycho with science? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 01:37 PM PST I got this childhood friend of mine who now is a nobody and never leaves his house. The only visitors are those bill collectors and only me. His house reeks of alcohol and rat poop. He earns great by freelancing online. There are empty liquor bottles everywhere and he doesn't even shave. I've never had the courage to check his bathrooms but I sneaked into his attic once and I saw there what I can't explain in mere words. There were monkey and cat skeletons, evolution diagrams and chalkboards full of calculations while the ceiling was full of constellation drawings. He was interested in science always but he was a nice guy. He was my childhood friend, my best friend, he saved me from mean kids in elementary school, i kinda knew that he'd be my future husband when I was in middle school but now... I don't wanna lose him but I can't live with him as he is now. I want to help him even though he looks happy and shouts whenever I tell him to make some changes... |
Question: How to end a one sided friendship? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 01:12 PM PST If i put effort into it she gives everything. I give her food and answers but I get nothing in return except looks and glares if i don't give her food or answers. |
Question: What do you think about this? It is normal? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 01:00 PM PST I bought an object, but it turned out that it worked in a way that I considered it "abnormal", that is, I had an erroneous expectation of the operation of that type of object, I thought that they should work in a way that no object of that type works. Then I get to change 5 objects until finally I realize that what I thought was wrong and I was wrong. My question is: What do you think? Is it wrong that I had to change 5 objects to learn and realize that what I thought was wrong? Did someone else have something similar? Thank you. |

Question: Roommate threw my curtains away? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 10:27 AM PST My new roommate that just moved in threw away curtains I had in the living room and replaced them with new ones. I asked where they were and she said the cabinet, I checked and they weren't there. Now she's saying she threw them away and told me she was replacing them (she didn't) How should I handle this? Make her replace? |
Question: Is it wrong for me to feel this way? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 09:55 AM PST My friend group and I (4 in total) go to college together and we're pretty close. 2 of them room together, and the other one and I room together, but we're all planning on rooming together next year. But everyone has favorites. And sometimes I wonder if I'm any of their favorites in the group. Tbh I do consider my current roommate my closest guy friend, but idk if he feels the same way. Anyway, is there a way to become someone's favorite friend, and is it wrong for me to feel this way? Thanks. |
Question: What do you think my best friend's dad intentions were??!! *SHORT*? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 07:53 AM PST My friend's dad came over without a call or text on a school day. He has a phone and should be aware of the date, am I right? I'm sure my friend probably told him that I attend online school and STAY AT HOME. He asked if I wanted to hang out with my friend and that'd he drop me off later. I refused saying my mom would be mad if i woke her up. Before he left I asked "she's not at school it's monday?" to which he replied "she's NOT AT SCHOOL isn't it Sunday?" Later i texted my friend and found out she was at SCHOOL! I think her mom didn't even know he was coming over. This isn't the only crap her family has done to me they have stolen from me before. I want to confront them so bad and tell them they can't take advantage of our friendship and do the things they've done. |
Question: I will miss my psychiatrist? Also, Is this normal? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 05:52 AM PST I have known him for 3 years and he is discharging me soon. We were doing a vocab test just for fun the other day, he used the word "ogle" and he then said "you see an attractive woman and you O_O at them" while staring into my eyes which was strange, he also said I was attractive and I "rock his world" he then stated "aha it was just a joke" immediately after.. probably cuz my face dropped. He never used to like me because of my reputation but he got to know me and now he said he is missing me and all this, I just turned 20 the other week btw. He's a really good guy and I'll miss him too, I tried not to reduce myself to tears. Im just trying to get another perspective on this? Thanks |
Question: Is this guy a real friend? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 05:35 AM PST So this is the type of person he is to give clarity. Like for example I made plans to hangout with a friend on Saturday and work on my homework/study for midterms on sunday. I had no plans made with the other friend. So that's exactly what I did. But then on sunday I get a text from my other friend and his friend to hangout and I tell him I can't cause I'm doing homework. He tells me why didn't you do it yesterday, why did you procrastinate, etc cause he also saw the snaps of me hanging out on Saturday. Seems rather petty rather than just saying I understand we can hangout next time. He then says "I suddenly have sooo much to do on your birthday"(cause it was coming up). This isn't the first instance though. He does this kind of thing a lot, and seems kind of manipulative when I say I can't hangout. I just say okay when he says he doesn't have time for me but he has to make it a big deal everytime I say no. Should I just cut him off? |
Question: Im worried? Advice please!? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 05:33 AM PST So I have been seeing a guy since just before Christmas. He has met some of my other friends and all was ok but he hated one of my friends because he knew they had a crush on me. He brings the friend in question up in conversation at times and starts saying stuff about them saying their car is crap and they are an idiot etc etc and told me he is going to tell my friend what he thinks of him to his face sometime. I feel nervous and scared about him at times and how he goes on when me and my close friend spend time together. He literally questions everything and tells me he prefers not being around them etc. Im staying out of it all and going to keep them totally separate in future. Why is he going on and on about my other friend so much? Hes hardly that jealous is he? |
Question: Feeling embarassed after social gatherings? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 05:16 AM PST Recently, I have been becoming more social but every time I hang out with a group of people I feel like I made a complete idiot of myself and I'm in this state of cringe. More specifically, I went to this overnight conference thing where the group of people I went with were mainly acquaintances and people I hadn't talked/ seen since I was a kid. I had a few good friends with me but not too many. I was basically the new kid in the group and I felt like I was partly left out but I was okay with it because I understood that it was because these other people in the group had known each other for years. I figured, if this group is gonna get comfortable with me, it was probably going to take a while. It's almost like held back too much but at the same time I didn't hold back enough. At the time, I was discouraged and frustrated and now I just feel embarrassed. |

Question: Is this gross or am I just being nitpicky? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 04:28 AM PST My roommate and I share a room and a bathroom. Whenever she uses the bathroom, she'll come into the room to put away stuff, then she'll wash her hands. I just find it gross that she doesn't wash her hands immediately after using the bathroom. |
Question: Is it ok to do this? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 04:28 AM PST Is it ok to talk about someone a lot only if you say good things about them? |
Question: The government need to install more parks, sports fields etc. in every area? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 03:52 AM PST I believe having access to a "hub" where kids can get along with others from their neighbourhood can have a positive effect on their mental health and standard of living. When i was younger, i lived in an area where there was a massive park with basketball courts, skateparks etc. within walking distance so all the kids from the neighbourhood would go there after school every day. This allowed me to make friends with lots kids from my neighbourhood, who i am still best friends with to this day. So instead of playing video games, going on my phone etc. after school or on the holidays, i'd go out with my friends, play basketball etc. every day. I believe this has had an extremely positive impact on my mental health and confidence because i was able to make a lot of friends and didn't spend most of my time indoors like kids nowadays. However, we moved houses recently and we don't have anything like that anymore nearbly. So my 8 year old brother has nowhere to go or nothing to do after school so he spends all of his time playing games on the phone and what-not and i feel like that is the case for a lot of kids nowadays. And people wonder why anxiety is becoming more prevalent nowadays. That's why i believe the government should strongly focus on installing more skateparks, basketball courts, parks etc. or just anything where kids from the neighbourhood can get together so they spend less times on mobile phones etc. |

Question: How do I bring this problem up to my director? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 01:13 AM PST I was recently moved to a different classroom (I m an assistant teacher at a daycare) due to complaints by parents. I fixed all the complaints the same day I was told of them, but two days later I was given another complaint (girl went out wearing wrong gloves and mom thought she was getting frostbite). I was moved to avoid extra stress because parents were beginning to talk to each other about it. The room I m in now has a rep for being a difficult class and I was swapped with a girl who is going into early childhood and also struggles with the room. I was put into the hard class, she was put into mine. I ve only been in there one day and I am already more stressed than I have ever been at work. I miss my old room and my kids. I feel like I wasn t given the chance to fix these problems because I wasn t told about them until it was a recurring problem. I want to tell my director I want to switch back, but I m afraid she will say she actually moved me because they weren t happy with my performance. This problem has been bothering me for four days now and just thinking about it puts me in tears. I cried when I got the email listing the problems and again when I was told I was moving rooms. I was not made aware of the issues by parents or the director until it was seen as a bigger problem. The only parent to talk to me was the glove parent and even then the conversation did not come across as problematic at all, but casual conversation. What do I do to get back into my old room? |
Question: Is it stupid to provide a room for someone who try to make use of me? Posted: 05 Mar 2019 12:10 AM PST Is it because of own fault that i m not happy and hurting eachother due to provide a room |
Question: How do you have fun at a bar alone? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 11:10 PM PST I'm not sure why I'm even feeling awkward honestly. I've gone out to the club by myself plenty of times and I never had trouble talking to strangers and making new friends. A regular bar seems different though. At a club at least there's music so you can go out and dance and make friends through that. I just tried going to a bar though and it just seems different. There aren't as many people and it's a lot more chill. It seems a lot harder to just talk to people and make conversion. What's the best way to feel comfortable at a bar alone? |
Question: Am I relying on my friend too much? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 10:56 PM PST This year has been a **** show and I really don't have anyone to talk to about the things going on in my life but my one friend. But I don't want to only talk about my feelings and thoughts. We don't have much in common and we don't talk much about any other things other than family drama. But I really want to become closer with her. Am I making everything about me? And how do I become better friends with her? |
Question: Are girls normally always gossipy and mean? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 10:14 PM PST I never really had friends my entire life but im a girl.. and i made few new friends in college but i noticed they are gossip alot.. about people.. and i never really talk about other people but i feel like there is nothing to talk about sometimes other than talking about other people i sometimes feel bad esp talking about some professors but if it is someone i dont like i guess i feel better afterwards but im not sure if this is normal.. so i dont know if you talk about other people alot with your friends? im assuming this is normal because people say girls are mean |
Question: My male friends treat me like ****? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 10:04 PM PST I'm in a band, I'm the leader, and the only female. I don't know why they all dislike me... I've tried to think "maybe they just had a bad day" or "they might just not show their feelings like I do", but I have been nothing but kind and supportive to them and they treat me like I'm a joke. For example, the other day after practice, the guys said they wanted to go grab a bite to eat, and literally did not invite me in front of my face. One of them, the guitarist, makes me feel like I'm never good enough. I go out of my way to help them and make them feel included, but I'm just always feeling second best. What am I doing wrong? I can't fire them, they're all I have in the area I live in and the age group works. |
Question: Why does no one want to be my friend or talk to me ? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 09:58 PM PST i feel lonely a lot and people dont really seem interested to be my friend anywhere I go. No one cares about me and I feel sad and upset about it. |
Question: Can I have some advice, please? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 09:46 PM PST My girlfriend is 21 and the sweetest girl ever. She is a "good girl" who goes to church a lot, loves kids, wants to be a teacher, and just the sweetest thing ever. She always dresses classy and doesn't drink or party at all. We both lost our virginity to each other, and since that, she has been so wild in bed. She is sweet during the day, but can't wait for night time to let her hair down and go absolutely crazy in the bedroom. She loves sex, loves it hard, and smiles from ear to ear when I call her a "dirty girl." She doesn't ever cuss, but loves to drop F bombs and other cuss words in bed. Why would she be like this? |
Question: What do you think about wage slavery ? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 08:58 PM PST My friend and I were discussing this today. How we have to conform and work for other people and make someone else rich rather than work for ourselves and make our own way in life. My friend is 34 and never worked for a company ever. He believes working jobs are actual slavery and should avoid even getting involved with the government, including education like school and university. What do you make of this ? |
Question: Does this sound bad? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 07:41 PM PST I am a 27 year old female and I have this friend and she told me that she is not going anywhere meaning that she is not going to leave out of my life and then she told me that I'm not going to leave out of her life either and then I said well what if I get married and move away one day? And she said that would be different. so does this sound bad? That she said that I'm not going anywhere |
Question: Boss tries to have sex with his employees? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 07:36 PM PST I know about it because we are friends, but I quietly find it disgusting. He has done it a few times. Now he is after this new girl. How can I stop anything from happening? Cock block him? He gets her extremely drunk at the bar after hours when we all leave. Pouring her shot after shot until she is so drunk she can t drive home. I worry. |

Question: What does it mean when a guy ask you to hangout? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 06:49 PM PST When this guy first called me he asked me to hangout. I think that's different than a date. But anyway instead of going I asked him if he wanted to be friends with benefits instead. He said yes and that he had always been into me. I felt like I had did something wrong by asking to be friends with benefits. So I apologized and I told him I had feelings for him. He said I didn't do anything wrong. We ended up having sex but before we had sex we went to the movies out to dinner and to the arcade. First we met up at the hotel though and he said since I was nervous we could go out first and I said ok. We had fun together and not just because of the sex. We have things in common we like the same movies, food and entertainment. I told him I had fun with him and he said he had fun too. |
Question: I don't want my mom taking pictures of me?? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 06:38 PM PST I'm about to graduate, but I feel a lot of anxiety about it. My mom absolutely LOVES to take pictures, but I don't. I majored in Communication and Film, but I prefer to be behind the camera, not in front of it. I'm pretty shy and very body conscious, so I never take pictures of myself and don't go to places like vacation or weekends out or something where would typically have my picture taken. My mom thinks I'm being ridiculous and overly sensitive and dramatic when I say I don't feel comfortable taking pictures, and she makes me stand and takes a million pictures of me and I hate it. I know she's going to want to throw a huge party and invite a bunch of people I don't know and take pictures, mostly of me- how do I get out of going to my own graduation party??? |
Question: Why do they always stare at me? Posted: 04 Mar 2019 06:28 PM PST There's this group of guys that I go to church with that are ALWAYS STARING at me whenever they see me. This has gone on for quite a long time. They always look at me out of the corner of their eye and look at a specific guy in the group. It really pisses me off because it ALWAYS HAPPENS. (Why are they staring at me?) |
