Girl I had been seeing a few weeks recently has gone cold (she felt overwhelmed because we got so close so quick). We took a two week break while I was busy with work, then skyped last night. We talked for 3 hours and seemed liked she missed me. Then the next day the following text exchange occurred... Her: Hey, I had hoped to talk about some things over skype last night, but I kind of got distracted... I dont remember when you were leaving, but was hoping we could skype again soon??? Let me know ;) ME (3hrs later): Sorry just been on the phone with my dad about my sick uncle. I'm already on my way to NY to take care of family and have to meet a friend in NYC this weekend.. i would love advice on this, especially from someone who has been in the same boat. my boyfriend and i have been together almost 2 years, and i have never gotten approval from her. i know i shouldn't care, but when her daughter was dating a guy, it was so different. she'd make facebook posts about how he was great, and was a blessing to anyone who met him. she would post about they met, and God put them together. one night while we were all on vacation together, she wanted everyone to watch a certain movie together, i told my bf i was tired and wasn't going to watch it. she pulled bf aside and said "tell her to stop being so selfish! your sister's boyfriend would never do that! he' watch it no matter how tired he was, and he wouldn't complain about it either". I used to speak to this girl in more than a friend type of way and after a couple weeks we got to our first kiss at a little gathering. Three days later she tells me that we would be better off as friends. Just friends. I was hurt and all, but i had to keep seeing her because my best friend and her best friend had a thing and we went out in a group of 4, which i was okay with because i still liked to see her even as a friend. So yeah, just friends went on for about another two-three weeks and i started catching feelings again. It was horrible because i had to keep seeing her and i couldn't make a move but i still enjoyed spending time with her. Then finally! I get a message saying: i still like you. I was so happy my man! So we started again, fresh start. We spent a great night together, the 4 of us. But this time i was playing the boyfriend part. Then she went off to this festival, and my man, she ****** a guy in a tent. On MDMA. Bullshit right? Shes not like that at all, and trust me when i say that. Shes different. Anyways, we argued, i forgive her in half a day. We spent 2 days nicely, all happy again. I didnt know that she wasnt all happy. My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years. He talks about marriage often, wants to get engaged and married as soon as he gets promoted (which will be in the next 6-8 months). He is comfortable financially. He has a good savings. He is finished with school and has no debt, very few living expenses. He spends money freely when he goes out or wants something. I am in school (trying to pay out of pocket), I have a large amount of bills that consist of basic living expenses and past school loans, car payment, insurance, etc. I work two jobs just to have enough money for school and bills. Sometimes he helps me with a school payment if I just don't have it, but that's only been twice and it was about 1000 in total. I am extremely grateful he did help me with that. But, I need help, I barely get to see him between work and studying, I never get to see friends. I'm exhausted all the time. I have 2 years left of school. I'm starting to resent the fact that he doesn't help me more. But I know it's not technically his responsibility to help me financially. Thoughts? Advice? How would you feel/ deal?

Okay so I'm 16 & my bf is 17. We've been together for a little under 9 months and I have asked many times if he could spend the night and they always say no. I dated this guy briefly my sophomore year of HS and after breaking up, we stayed friends. We kinda hung out off and on (somewhat intimately) after breakup but it wasn't serious and we both knew that. Senior year we got back together and dated for a couple months until he started accusing me of cheating on him, which I did not. I tried to work things out with him but he had told one of his friends who then spread rumors about me throughout the whole school, which hurt. After that I was upset and no longer wanted to date him. We didn't talk for sometime and once we did again, we were back to friends. We talk now bc he is very easy to talk to and I actually really like him as a friend. My problem is that his parents HATE me bc they think I treated him so bad when in reality he started the cheating stuff out of nowhere and when we would "hang out" before he knew where I stood as in kissing etc and it meaning nothing. Okay, so the whole situation is like this: My best friend started dating a guy.Let's name my bff M and her bf R Now we all go to the same school and the thing is, I started liking R's best friend, J. We are both in college and have been dating for about 3 months. I have never gotten this close with a guy before, and he's my first real boyfriend so everything has been relatively new to me. I care very deeply about him and am so grateful to have him as my boyfriend. Tonight we were watching a movie and joking around then out of nowhere he says well, "I love you" but for some reason I am almost convinced I heard it wrong and can't believe he said that. Would get boring but my female intuition is telling me something is wrong or maybe it s the girl in me and I am getting in my emotions. We went on another date last Sunday, prior to that we would talk and text all the time, he calls me hunny all the time. The date ended great. But this week I barely hear from him and no I do not text first, because I am not the chaser. I did text first tonight though. I was like, omg sweety it is sooo hot today! Would be nice to go driving with the top down again. He texted back Jason and I, our out in lacrosse on the back roads and I replied hehe great you got it running again etc...than I didn t hear back from him, so I wrote, well you 2 have fun, I need to start looking for my swim suit for the water park tomorrow. So have a nice night, sweety! Still no reply back. I completely believe in giving space to a man, so that is what I do. And I believe in giving a man,we do have seperate lives. I just do not feel wanted, am I tripping? Lol yesterday he did reply back with me too night hun. After, I said I hope to spend more time with you this weekend. I figured if he did, he would let me know when he is free, because the weekend is almost here. So what to do, what is it, I hate dating.

my friend jess started dating this guy during the school year and she would tell our friend group if she was at his house or just keep us updated with him every once in a while but now its a week until school starts and all summer she hasnt mentioned him once... and she had her birthday party a couple weeks ago and when my friend katie asked which boys were invited jess showed us a list and her boyfriend wasnt on the list! so now me katie and my other friend emily are wondering if they broke up and why she wont tell us if they did... so i want to ask her but how would i do that? its kind of a weird topic to bring up and i dont wanna make her upset if they broke up and shes really sad about it

So we met through marching band and she's a freshman so I got to help her out cuz she's in my section and we became close friends but she like calls me babe and sexy and stuff and she'll say that we should pretend we're dating and see what my boyfriend says haha and then she'll hug me and stuff and it sounds like a joke but one of my close girl friends ended up liking me and I don't want it to happen again! What do you think? Also, idk if she's bi but she doesn't have any crushes but she did think one boy was cute

So I recently manned up and asked this girl for her number. She said sure and gave it to me but when I texted her right after school "Supp Lissette its Blake" she never answered. And I know that she gave me the right number because it shows up as iMessage. Should I try texting her again saying something like did you go to the assembly? I like this girl,A LOT, like I think about her a lot everyday and she and I have talked briefly and she doesn't really have any feelings towards me. I try to not think about her, but I see her sometimes sad and I get sad because I really care about her and have a lot of feelings towards her. I've told my friends why that is and they say it could be love but idk, I don't know her that well, I do know a lot of personal stuff about her that she's gone through with her family and stuff and that's why I feel she rejects me. I just wish I could tell her how I feel about her and that I care about her and all I want is to make her happy. I've started to change my life and started working out and im in the best shape of my life at age 23 cause I want to protect and her and take care of her, I have plenty of money too if I wanted to take her somewhere nice. I just feel she thinks I like her cause I want to nail her, but I don't need to be in bed with her to be happy.

So im 16 and im a junior in high school. theres this girl a grade below me(softmore) she is known the be the hottest girl in her grade. everytime i see her she is always looking at me secretely. one time last year durring lunch, i counted her looking at me like 12 times, and she hasnt said anything to me, i think she might be shy. ive never talked to her before becuase i dont want to say the wrong thing. she is really into christianity and idk what i should say. I am aware that most girls do not like/take seriously Indian guys unless they are super hot which I am not. I am not a bad looking Indian and other white guys on the same level of looks as me get much more action. Most girls generalize and think all Indian guys are the same and creepy and unattractive unless they are super hot. I have been told I am attractive for an Indian which I find very rasicst. How do I attract girls and prove to them I'm not like that?

The guy I removed I had feelings for, he pursued me a little bit but had another girl that liked him so I pushed him away. He ended up wit her but his friends really liked me and tried to get us together before they were "official." Why would the friend that liked me for his friend end up defriending me? Out of the whole situation I got screwed, tenfold.
