I really became good friends with her 3 years ago, and she's been emotionally abusing me since then. I mean its horrible. Once, we were having a sleepover and she likes to play barbies (Im 14!!!) anyways, I told her no, I was bored. So she just started going crazy, she told me to get out of her house and walk around, in the dark outside, in the middle of january (it was about 12 degrees farheneit) anyways, after that, I told myself our friendship was over and it stayed like that for about a month. Until I wrote a letter to her and welcome back C ur my BFF! I don't know why I want to hang out with her but I am very sensitive and have a lot of anxiety issues, and I guess I wanted to give her a like 19th shot at our friendship. Fast forward 9 months and its still the exact same thing. Across the street from my house, I have these neighbors. They're little kids and I babysit them and they're really special to me. Last week, I saw C go over and ask if she could hang out with them. I threw a fit, closed the blinds and punched my pillows. I couldn't fall asleep at night. Its not that I mind someone hanging out with them, its because it's C. I honestly hate her. I said it. I HATE HER! I don't want to ever have to see her again or pity her again but I can't help but feel depressed that she's going over to MY neighbors house. I just really need help, I never wanna be friends with someone like her, plz help. thx,:) |

I go to an all guy high school, and I have a little group of friends. But I'm not sure if they're the right group for me. Whenever I sit with them at lunch (we all have the same lunch period, which is kinda how we hit it off in the first place), I don't feel like these are the people for me. For instance, today at lunch, I set my backpack on my chair and put my phone down at my table, and got my food. When I came back, one of my friends took my phone and my backpack and binder were on the ground, and they were kicking it around. Apparently they were "joking" even when I told them multiple times to quit it. They managed to disable my phone for the majority of the period too. I didn't find it funny, but they did. I also noticed little things, like the fact that none of them really want to talk to me (I made a group chat in which everyone left without saying anything). I feel like I put ten times more effort into my friends than they do to me. The thing is, if I do ditch my friends for a new friend group, I don't think I can re-make a bunch of new friends. It's already the third week of school, and I think most of the friend groups are already cemented and official. Plus, my lunch period has the least amount of people, and I really think lunch time is the best time to socialize. So what do you think I should do? Should I give my current friend group a second chance? Or should I throw in the towel and try to find another friend group? |

Head Pop- Hang balloons from the ceiling and attach pins to caps or hats with tape. Use 2 different color balloons and divide the guests into teams. Then start popping the balloons. The Team who pops all of their color balloons first wins. Spin~A~Dare- Kind of like spin the bottle. Whoever it lands on must draw a dare from a bowl of pre-written dares. The Caller (This Is One Of My Personal Favorites)- Played outside at nighttime. Pick a person to go hide and let them bring their cell phone. Once they are hidden, the seekers have to try and find that person with only their own cell phones. The hider can call them every once in a while and give them 3-4 word clues on where they are. & of course the goal of the game is to find the hider. I Never- Give each player 20 pieces of candy and then sit in a circle. Each person takes a turn saying something like "I've Never been to Hawaii". Then whoever has done that thing eats a piece of candy. The first player to eat all of their candy wins the game. Baby, Do You Love Me?- Everyone sits in a circle and they pick an "it" person. The "It" person has to go sit on someone's lap and say "Baby, if you love me, smile". The person the "it" person asks must then say, "Baby, I love you, but I just can't smile". If the person smiles while they say it, they now become the "it" person. |

We go to small school so we all see each other all the time. Ever since they became friends in 9th grade, my brother's friend (let's call him Tom) has been hanging out at my house almost every weekend. "Tom" and I are just over a year apart and my brother and I are 2 and 1/2 years apart (but they are in the same grade). Ever since me and "Tom" met it's been awkward. My brother has lots of friends and it hasn't been like this with any of them. I feel like I can't look at him too long and I don't know why. We barely say hi when I see him at my house. Now that we go to the same school I see him in the halls and switching between buildings all the time. Keep in mind its a small school so there aren't too many people in the hallways. When we see each other, we both make eye contact for like 2 seconds and then awkwardly look away. It's very uncomfortable. I HATE dealing with awkward moments, and I think I like him, but I truly don't know. I'm also currently trying to figure out my sexuality and I'm very very confused. And it's really awesome any great, but now all my friends have gravitated to her and now I'm just left alone all the time. Now I know it's cool to hang out with her cause she just moved but it's been two months and I have been by myself for so long. But it's not juster her. One of my friends just keeps isolated me and just simply choosing all of them before me. And every time I ask her to hangout, she uses the excuse of being 'sick'. I've been planning to break it off with them but I don't know where I'd go from there. I'm only 13. And I'm also not in high school yet which doesn't really give me the option to make new friends due to me having such a small school. I have also thought about moving schools before too, but it just wouldn't work with my parent's being divorced and having trouble with transportation. Now I literally just started 8th grade today, today was my first day back from summer. But I'm not sure I can make it 10 more months being isolated. They also tend to send me a bunch of photos of them all having fun and when I'm around they don't do that. Same with activity, when I'm not around they all have so much fun, but when I'm there we just sit on our phones. I'm tired of this, help? |

All of my friends are good people, we've been drinking since the end of junior high and smoking pot since the beginning of high school. I never thought much of it. All of us decided to either get a job in our hometown or go to a college that we could commute to because none of us could imagine not spending time together on a regular basis. However recently in the past year the majority of my friend group has regularly started doing Cocaine. A few do it on a daily basis and the others do it on the weekends at house parties. For me cocaine just seems way too hardcore to even consider taking. So my question is this... Is this a normal thing that people my age do or do my friends seriously have a drug problem with cocaine ? |

They replied that I will be contacted by their office soon. I am pasting what I wrote them. Do you think the county will take action? Or at the very least have a talk with the property management company? " My 27 year old condo board neighbor harasses and bullies her elderly neighbors. She put a sign on the board in the hallway calling her 70 year old neighbor crazy old man. Another time she had her male friend who lives in the condo complex come over. He took his walking stick acting like he was slamming in the window of my 70 year old neighbors' car. She was standing by laughing. She posted a channel on You Tube of neighbors she despises. One video shows her taping her filming my 79 year old father defending me. He was telling her to stop harassing us. Afterwards she got her male friend to come over and yell at my father-"How much for your daughter-$50?" I brought this to the attention of Property Management. I wrote that my condo board neighbor posted videos of her neighbors on You Tube and I wanted it stopped. Property management said she would talk to her regarding it. However the videos are still on You Tube. She commanded her rottweilers to growl and bear their teeth at my 70 year old neighbor to harass and intimidate him. She lives right above him. I have heard her stomp and jump on the floor many times when I was in his condo. |

But hung out with the same crew at school, so spoke quite a bit. Then I changed schools and lost contact. I'm in my last year of college, and he showed up a few months ago. I saw him on his first day, but didn't say hi cuz he was with people. Another time I walked past, and pretended not see him. I was hesitant to say hi cuz I was scared he wouldn't recognise/remember me. Long story short, for a year we've been seeing each other all over campus and even out at clubs but completely ignore each other. It's super awkward cuz he knows very well who I am and so do I. And we have many mutual friends from our old school, and now in college. The other night I was at a club with friends, and the guy came and spoke to one of our friends, and I was just standing there like lol. I don't even know why we're ignoring each other ahahahah. I think the hesitancy to say hi got dragged out for too long, and now would be just so awkward to be like "yo, how've you been". How can I approach the situation? |

I don't know if they still consider me friends. They are online friends, but that does not mean I think any less of them. Well lately they've been ignoring/lying to me. They'll say - "Oh sorry, I've been gone all day." When in actuality I have proof that they've been on another site, or forum etc. We're on FF.Net together, so I can keep track of what they do, because I'm a crazy stalker, apparently. I am mildly confused as to why they both choose to stay on a forum that they don't like, instead of joining mine. Well it finally hit me, that it's probably me. I think they're both nice girls, and that the reality is that they think flat out saying "no" to me, will cause some kind of huge, issue. When honestly if they just said; "No" I'd be fine with it, because it's the being ignored and lied to part that is hurting me the most. Any advice? |

I told her I'm a B cup (which is true) and she was like "Umm. No you're not. You're lying." She claims she has bigger boobs than me but I've seen her with just a bra on and she's never seen me, mine are bigger. And she says my hair is ugly because of my bangs. She gossips about our friends a lot, like saying "OMG WHAT IS SHE WEARING?!" Or "lol she's super fat." She's more of a popular kid, wearing tons of makeup, I wear no makeup and I'm pretty quiet. It just makes me worry of what she thinks of me. Maybe she tells our friends that I'm ugly. My sister doesn't like her, she thinks she's a bad influence on me. Because of my friend, I've gotten in big trouble a lot by my sister. But my friend doesn't even bother giving an apology all she says is "oh sorry." Whenever we get in fights, she says "Whatever. I'm not going to crawl back to you." Eventually I have to crawl back. And she even ditches me a lot at school for her "popular" friends. In the end of 8th grade I was known for the girl that was so positive and made people's days better and I was mainly always happy and people always called me "perfect" in 7th and 8th but it's not like that anymore. I moved 20 minutes away from my old school so I go to a different high school than all of my friends. I can't seem to make that many friends and I don't really feel a connection with anyone at my new school. Since the middle summer and beginning of the school year I've been crying so much idk what's wrong with me. I mean I have everything I need like supportive parents and a house, but I just think of everything negatively and in 8th grade during the winter I had become diagnosed with social anxiety but it went down towards the end of 8th but now I don't even really have anxiety I just don't care about anything and I can't seem to make friends and I'm never genuinly happy anymore abd every time I am happy and positive and in a good mood it lasts only for like 30 minutes. I don't even wanna go to school anymore and it seems like parents are being less proud of me everyday. Everyone else seems so happy and good. Posted: 01 Sep 2015 02:32 PM PDT So Anyway, This happened a few weeks ago, back in August, Me and my friend were having a skype call, I went to go get some pretzels and when I came back, my friend was freaked out of I asked her what was wrong, she showed me these totally random meaningless text that were sent off my phone, and I didn't send them. I didn't think anything about bringing my phone with me at the time ( because I went to go get pretzels, why would I need my phone?!?! ) Here's what the text said: ``I see evreything and everyone there's no escape from the haunting torture of the future, I can help, but to say sorry step down on the plank and be sure you know your past better then your future. We lie in secret we lie from the future life that beholds us in heaven or hell everything you once had burned into ashes that form into a earth crust. Now wake up, you are a human in insignificant to the world just like me and the wolf spirits that howl so far on the cliff to the moon calling out its brothers'' So Is this just Meaningless **** or does this mean anything? Its kinda creepy but kinda not, I'm more Confused on how this text was sent, with nobody in the room. my friend said she herd some shuffling in the background while I was gone. I checked my phone and the text weren't in my outbox or sent messages :/ Is my phone hacked??? Posted: 01 Sep 2015 02:15 PM PDT i got rid of all my troubled fake friends now i only have one friend and i want to focus in my school so i guess i also lost confidence making new friends. so my friend planned my bday for me. she invited the people she knows and we are going to a hotel with pool. im just really embarrassed and this is my first time celebrating with other people. ive always celebrated it with my family and i didnt have friends i wanted to invite before. im like a loner so i am jut ashamed of myself that my friend is doing all the inviting. should i just be confident and forget worrying about this bday? |

We live about 20 miles in the suburbs outside the city. All of my friends are good people, we've been drinking since the end of junior high and smoking pot since the beginning of high school. I never thought much of it. All of us decided to either get a job in our hometown or go to a college that we could commute to because none of us could imagine not spending time together on a regular basis. However recently in the past year the majority of my friend group has regularly started doing Cocaine. For me cocaine just seems way too hardcore to even consider taking. So my question is this... Is this a normal thing that people my age do or do my friends seriously have a drug problem with cocaine ? |

She said "what do you see youself doing" and I was like "a mom that feels like she should have done more" bc I don't want to be a mom but I can see myself as a mom who became one but really didn't like it She was like "say a full time mom" and I said "but people will think I actually want to be one lol" she didn't respond. I said "gtg gotta do my homework :)" she says "ok bye." she usually does so many smiley faces and crap but this time she just says that and I think she's mad at me for what I said. | Question: How do you make friends in college? Posted: 01 Sep 2015 01:32 PM PDT I just started college and I feel kinda lonely. Yeah there's tons of people from my high school here but I don't really have classes with them and they barely acknowledge me. I have some "classroom" friends but the moment the class ends they're out the door to meet with their other friends, or perhaps one day we have a decent conversation and the next day they don't acknowledge my existence anymore. I don't think it's what I'm saying that's putting them off...it's just that when they see the opportunity to talk to someone else, they value that over "staying friends" with me? Idk, lol. I tried joining a club but the people there are far older than me (i'm 18) and doing like phds or have already graduated, not to mention that they're already lifelong friends with each other so I'm once again an outlier. I can't really stick around after classes end, I'm usually really hungry. I'm pretty broke so I can't just chow down on university food and it's a long train/bus ride home with leaves me exhausted. Oh, and I also have to eat my baggied lunch from home alone, but tons of other people do that as well. Still, it would be nice to sit and eat with someone. How can I make friends? All my 'high school' strategies for making friends like talking to random people aren't sticking for me. I feel so alone. still no answers? i guess asking for advice on how to make friends in the 'friends' section is too much. no i haven't but i haven't heard of such a thing. tried looking it up but couldn't find anything. my college is very urban, in the middle of downtown. it doesn't reach more than 3 blocks. is that a possible reason? |

The thing is I have a boyfriend and don't feel the same way about her. She always texts me to hang out but I always have to come up with some excuse not to hang out with her. Whenever I make plans with her brother and his girlfriend she gets upset she's not invited ( I've known Mary longer). She always acts super nervous around me which makes it even more awkaward. Last week I asked if she could meet me & she cancelled 2 days before as she was meeting her guy friend. We arranged to meet the following day, but I had to cancel the night before as I had to work. I asked her if she wanted to meet me on Tues or Weds yesterday, as I'm off work both days but she told me, "aw crap, those are litreally the only days I'm doing something". I said, "no worries, hopefully another time" & she said," crap, least school starts soon x". Does this mean she doesn't want to meet me? Last time she said, "I'll see you soon, I hope". Being the leader it is my job to handle these situations, in rotc the students run the class, teach the lessons, etc. We received a new member who switched teams. We know him to be really proud and cocky but especially now that he is on this team. Not everyone picks up on how to toss a 10 lb rifle into the air and grab it on their first try, that's why we practice. However once he gets it he brags! And he comes off as a major douche bag! "I'm better than him and I just started, how long have you been on the team?" I immediately said "If your good at something, YOU shouldn't have to say it" because it is true. We try to inspire leadership qualities, and that behavior doesn't get you anywhere. Maybe a few medals and trophies, but you'll never be a leader. Team members responded to my saying that with "agreed" because they see it too. I am worried about taking him to competitions. Other schools will see his behavior, it just makes us all look bad. Especially when he directly disrespects me in front of the team. If he has a problem with me, fine come talk to me, but don't call me out in front of the whole team. The last thing he said in our Group-chat was how he had more medals than another member "No I just like to brag because I feel pretty badass with triple your medals ;p" What should I say, because if he is calling people out in front of the team, I am going to stand up for them. Oh I didn't see this until now, but another team member replied to him saying "We've beaten teams with people that had more medals than us?" calling him out as well! |

My other friend, who likes her ex, is quite nice, but not that pretty. I think the pretty one is a bit angry, because she posted a photo with a skeleton with a caption "My ex waiting for someone better than me" and some girl said "He'll never be with someone as gorgeous as you" and she replied "None of them will, because I'm irreplaceable and perfect". I'm going on a vacation with her ex, my other friend and some other people and even though she hasn't said it bothers her, it kind of does, because she's says her ex is a piece of trash, ugly, stupid and way out her league. Probably she is mad at me because in the past I made the mistake to sleep with two of her exes (with one of them she had a relationship for 2 years) so I get why she's angry at me. Its only thhe second day but something is just bothering me and its my social circle. Everyone has their groups im still alone. Now ive already gotten girls numbers and gotten pretty cool with some athletes since i love basketball. But i still feel pretty distant. I did get a text from a female student about hanging out after class which is ok but i want the college experience. To have a decent social circle where if i want to, i can easily hang out with more than one person at any given time. Have sex and all that awesome stuff. I know its only the second day so maybe im just pressing it too much. Now i consider myself social. I have no problem talking to people but im not getting that vibe in return. Only one girl im getting the same vibe back from but it would be better if it was more. I was never really a popular person but people knew me. So seeing someone i knew was never hard. Another gitl added her number in my phone but never responded and i think i saw her but she didnt say hi. Now i know not everyone is gonna get slong wih me or even like me but im still putting myself out there. Ive met dome very chill people. But im worried, is it just me or is everyone else just so caught up in there own lives? Even if thats the case, i always see other propel with others |

However, there are few things that I find difficult to comprehend in terms of conservative views. I understand some people arw against abortion and are pro gun rights. However, I found out one of them is for Michelle Bachman, is anti gay (homophobic) and also is willing to vote for Trump regarding his immigration policy. So by the time I start opening up, most people have already formed their group of friends. I'm kind of shy and find it hard to approach people first/keep up a conversation. I'm going to a high school where I only know like 2-3 people and I might not have lunch or classes with them so I'm worried that I won't have anyone to sit with at lunch. I only have a few hours to make friends and it takes a few interactions for me to warm up and open up to someone. I REALLY don't want to be sitting all alone or awkwardly with the misfits?? I try my best to approach first and be outgoing but I'm afraid if I ask too many questions or keep talking to them they'll think I'm pushy and won't want to be friends with me. |

I never had issues with him going out since we started dating 9 years ago. I even often gave him money to "have a few drinks on me." But when this female came into the picture 2 yrs ago, I immediately noticed a change. Before he would always invite me and I'd more often decline and wish him a fun night. I'm more into bars and hanging out while his friends are more into the club scene and getting belligerently drunk. Once she joined the group, it went from going out every other weekend/once a month to multiple times a week. And I became excluded. I have yet to meet this chick despite inviting her to lunch, brunch, & dinner. Recently, we moved out of the area and went down to visit and I went out with him and only the guy bff showed up. Her & her friends came by and wouldn't come into the bar we were claiming they didn't want to pay the $5 cover. I know there's nothing going on with her, but she always comes with 5-6 of her slutty friends all of whom like my husband. My husband doesn't understand why I have a problem with her. My thing is, if she's your "bff" why is she avoiding meeting me? Since she came into the picture we've had so many arguments. She claims to be his bff but we lost our first born son a few months ago and she didn't come to the funeral, didn't come to.our wedding, and has yet to visit him. Yet he defends her. We are practically BEST FRIENDS. There are Two guys in the group and 3 girls. Lets call One guy A, And the other B. Now for the girls, We'll call Girl one C Girl two D (I am also a girl so i dont have to mention myself). we had no problems UNTIL this year.We are all becoming freshmen, entering that high school life.One day, C just kept getting mad at us for no reason which really pissed me, D and B off. C would get mad at us for doing the most simplest things. For example, Us pranking each other. We always do that and she was always okay with it but now she just flips out. And A is always on her side.C and A are like friends with penalties because they are together ALL the time and really really good friends. They're practically on a whole new level than Us. But one day, we just couldnt stand C anymore because she would go on saying she listens to us but we never listen to her.She compared us to A,Telling us that A understands her most and that A has never ever made her mad her whole life. At the point, B and D decided to leave. I also decided to leave but inside something was telling me this would work out. Fortunately it didnt and now we've broken up. B, D and i are in our own groups While C and A have cut ties with us. I've tried explaining to both sides but it just wont work out. So, maybe it's best to forget C and A. My question is, Was it the right thing? Or should i have worked it out? |

In the time ive known her, she's displayed some strange behaviour towards me and I sometiems get the impression she doesn't like me. For instance when I fost met her, she'd keep using the phrase 'I'm so jealous' whenever she saw my handwriting she'd look at it for ages and then she'd say the same about my clothes and even when I told her I was spending some time with my sister she'd say 'so jealous' Sometimes especially when I was in the girls group and one of the girls would mention how tall I was, she would say 'you're so lanky' in a harsh way I went on a trip with her in my group and she basically ignored me the entire day. Sometimes when she was talking to the boys and I was near she'd look me up and down and then carry on talking to the boys. When I tried speaking to her she replied with short answers and walked off. Now she's ignoring me and it's becoming so obvious that she doesn't want to speak to me or spend time with me. I recently sent her a message asking to hang out and then she saw my message and ignored it for 2 weeks. Then when she finally replied she said she has been busy and then asked what day we should meet. I suggested a day and since then she's read my message and is ignoring it i don't know why she's suddenly gone cold with me. I spent a lot of money on buying her a birthday present. I've put a lot of effort into our friendship too I don't get it?! Why is she ignoring me? |
