Weddings: Question: Why are people eloping earlier than their original date? |
Question: Why are people eloping earlier than their original date? Posted: 05 May 2020 05:47 PM PDT I know a couple that was supposed to have a wedding at the end of the month, but it got cancelled due to the crisis so they decided to elope last weekend. I could understand why the big reception didn't happen, but why are couples not marrying legally or eloping on their actual date they picked themselves and instead doing it way earlier now ? |
Question: What to do about our July wedding? Posted: 05 May 2020 04:15 PM PDT So we have a wedding coming up on July 18th. With the coronavirus going on it doesn't look like it'll be safe to do so. The venue will let us postpone, but there are no available dates until early 2023 since our venue is super popular and only open on weekends, I'm not kidding. And we can't cancel since we have deposits down already, so we can only postpone. So we're thinking of just waiting and seeing till about early July and then we'll reassess. What do you guys think? |
