We invited dude out, and he said no his girl babysitting is nephews, and than dude said that is up to her, and she mad a big hissy fit that it's okay, but she wants to go out next week. She hasn't been out, and hes been out already. She want to go out next weekend. My boyfriend works at the apartments he lives at. Due to Corona he isn't allowed to enter an apartment except for an emergency. He is not a maintenance man and only assists when needed. That makes me so mad because not only is he exposing me to corona but he shouldn't be in any woman's home especially alone with her. So when I went to look something up on his phone and saw the conversation I was mad and irritated. To make matters worse he deleted the whole conversation and doesn't know I saw it. He started seeing her in 2018. He met her when she was 20 and he was 38. They were immediately obsessed with each other. She lived with her parents and and he lived with his parents so he had plenty of money saved. He flew her to california for her 21st birthday, wined and dined her, took her to art museums, rented a car and drove her to santa monica too Then a few months later they moved in together which was her first apartment and her first time leaving her parents who she is very dependent on. She's been in and out of inpatient psych hospitals throughout her teens for self harm, cutting, depression and anorexia. Her parents do and did everything for her, pay all of her bills, cook her food, clean her room, do her laundry. Now its 2020 he moved out of his parents and got an apartment and she lives with her parents again and they're getting back together. She has gone up and down saying one month hes an emotionally abusive narcissist to the next month saying she thinks about him 24.7, hes the only person shes ever loved, he sees the best in her, knows the real her and treats her like a queen. Are these two going to last? Whats the appeal?

I'm 27 years old and my girlfriend of 8 months dumped me for another guy. basically cheated on me and lied to me for a month. I loved her so much too. For example, if he shows his friends pictures from his vacation, some of which are group photos of him with an unattractive woman and her pretty friends.  Would it be wrong of him to point to one of the pretty women while explaining to his friends that she's the one who he dated while on the vacation.  Keep in mind he did this a total of three times (one of which was from a prom he attended).  So he said that another girl in the limo was his date, instead of admitting it was the unattractive one.  Obviously, he's annoyed and disappointed that pretty women are never interested in him.  But he NEVER once tried to ask them out behind the unattractive woman's back.  All he does is lie to his homies in an effort to impress them, and/or is embarrassed by who his real date was.

Long story short.. i used to make out with my ex boyfriend in his car in the mall parking lot. His crazy ex drunk called him once and asked him about me. I broke up with my boyfriend today. Am I upset? Yes. Do I wish we could've worked things out? Of course. But would I rather stress & wonder what he's doing everyday or just live a happy life? Well I'm sure you know the answer. I've sat & blamed myself for the way I've been treated. Apologized to him for wanting answers... My self esteem was great before I got with him. But once we started dating, it went downhill. We've been together for a year. We don't live together because I feel like we should wait until we're atleast engaged or planning to move forward as far as marriage.  During the week we talk because we work together. I used to come to yahoo answers to seek help, motivation, inspiration, etc. but now I'm here for anyone else coming for the very answers I came for. Love yourself. Put yourself first. Listen to your gut. You'll find that true love one day. 

I just started talking to this guy, we were planning to hook up. The first night we were supposed to go out, I got ready and he fell asleep on me. I understand how common it is for happily married/involved men & women to send friend requests to high school classmates they slept with, as it's simply catching up with old friends for reunions and such. But if the friend request is for someone he/she met at a bar, pool hall, etc., does he/she want to do more than "catch up"?

It doesn't make sense to me. I would expect attractive men to get the most attention from women in general, but that's not the case. Average women seek average men, ugly women seek average men, attractive women seek average men. Only the very tip top percentage of attractive women seek other attractive and affluent men. Yet ever single tier of men (ugly and poor - uber attractive and wealthy) desires an attractive woman.

The first one is very intelligent, articulate, attentive, wealthier but I don't find him physically attractive. He's very obnoxious, always has to be right and a bit snobby.  Second guy is the opposite, he's physically attractive but goes out drinking heavily a lot and takes drugs every weekend. He's a fun guy but is a lot to handle, very loud and what you see is what you get kind of guy.  Both have one child, I have 0. Who would you choose??

I was insecure of my own body for quite long of a time, thinking of going to the gym has just always terrified me. I just don't like gyms, I think it's just as normal as not liking chocolate etc. After scrutinizing the core of the problem I realized the insecurity was triggered by the society. I thought I wasn't in the "acceptable category". But can we actually let society dictate our looks or even "standards"? Even though I've never been rejected by a guy for a reason of my looks, it is a huge problem nowadays, especially with online dating involved. The way I look at it is that you're not falling in love with the human body in the first place. For me spiritual compatibility has more value than looks. Are we chasing the wrong after all? Is being a "Ken" more important than having a decent personality?  Standard n.2   You won't believe this but it's height! I personally talked to a person who stated; " If you are shorter than 5'11, we're not a match". I can almost fully guarantee that the guy will eventually fall in love with someone that doesn't fit in the category! Simply because love doesn't have any height restrictions, it'll hit you like a falling star at a time you don't expect it. Now how is this different from racism? You "swipe right" just because the person is short? No for short people? I thought LGBTQ was about universal love?

She was ditched by him like an old towel with no explanation whatsoever, and he's waltzed back into her life saying sorry and telling her he still loves her.  She's accepted his friend request and I just don't know what to do about it.

I personally have never seen a mexican or mexican american girl date a black guy, Unless it was one who didn't speak spanish.  Now I know that there are such girls out there, but I would like to know have ye ever dated a black guy before, or are you currently dating a black guy?Theres this one mexican girl that I like myself, and she's fluent in english and spanish, and I hear a lot of rumors that Mexicans are devout catholic, and would never date outside their circle. So even though she seems to be interested in me, I don't really think she would romantically interested in a non mexican guy like myself.

Maybe this has happened to you or maybe not. I'm a young adult and throughout my life I've had guys that I've liked before of course. Crushes here and there and almost had a boyfriend once. Yes I've never had one. But of course, the one guy I could never be with, I have to like him like crazy. I won't go into the details why I couldn't be with him but I met him a couple of years ago and it's been a year since we've seen each other. He's married now so obviously I can't do anything about that. I don't know if he ever felt the same way I felt for him or I don't even know if he knew I liked him.... ALOT. Looking for some outside insight on the situation.. I've been with my boyfriend for just short of a year. Beforehand we were best friends. Before we started dating, he fooled around a bit with another friend of his. (This girl was part of our social circle. We were never that close ourselves but were civil and acquaintances in group events, got along ok I guess) They never had sex but did just about everything else, went on holidays together.. this lasted only a couple of months. Then began growing distant. Then we started dating. Few months later he cut off communication with her as she would consistently message him at all hours asking to be more than friends and he wanted to put our relationship first. Year down the line and she has deleted me off social media. Why is this? I never post anything! Purely looking for insight which would be greatly appreciated as I don't understand.
