Me and my boyfriend started dating about 4 months ago and he was upfront and honest with me about him being married but he says he's getting a divorce right now. What worries me is him and his ex-wife live with their daughter who's next door to me. He doesn't answer the phone when they're around and he hangs up if we're on the phone and they come home. He says that him and his ex-wife haven't told their grown daughter that they're getting a divorce one moment and the next he said that she has her own house to stay at but she still living there. We talk around his grandkids but that's about it. He tried to get me to meet his son. I call sometimes and get the voicemail and he calls me back a few minutes later then when I'm on the phone with him and somebody calls he puts me on hold and mute. But we're supposed to be moving in together after the lockdown is up he wants it to be a surprise. It's certain things that he said in the past that switched when I asked him that make me worry. Then when he found out I was doing a investigation on him he joked about it and asked me if I was done. I lied to his daughter one day and asked if he was talking to someone she hung up in my face and told me through text that he was happily married. Should I just leave it alone and walk away or stay?

Help. So I just got married 3 months ago. It's been great buttttt.... I have noticed that my husband does this all the time-he doesn't listen to me. For example, if something is cooking and I'm like "oh it needs 15 more minutes" he goes "okay, I'll set a timer for 12" LITERALLY. And yeah I know that's not a big deal but it happens ALL THE TIME. One time I was mixing something and he got me a bowl, I asked him for a bigger one and he huffed and puffed and was like "why can't you use this one?" Like why was it such a big deal? I don't know what to do. When I bring it up he just walks away and plays the Xbox. What can I do? And if I can't change him how could I change myself to not be irritated by it all the time? (It happens all the time).

I love my wife as a person. Great lady. She is my best friend.  The fact of the matter is that I have zero physical attraction toward her and have not been physically attracted to her since about 3 months after we met 8 plus years ago.  I am not so interested in divorcing her because other than this we are a happy couple and also the financial costs of a divorce would be steep.  The fact is I have serious urges to have sex with other women and right now the best solution seems to be a sugar daddy and get some action on the side and hope my wife doesn't find out. 

So my husbands mom has a long history of verbally abusing her children. Well when I married her son it was no different. She was angry I was taking him away so she'd say stuff like, "hope your happy, I want to kill myself now". Even though I've remained respectful to her our entire relationship. Along with this she'd tell my husband he can always get a divorce, and "your mentally ill, good luck making your marriage work". It was all as if we were the crazy ones when she was the one screaming on the phone everytime. Well my husband admits the stress from his mom made him relapse on alcohol, and actually start blaming me for his relationship failing with his mom in his fits of alcoholism anger. All the while avoiding calling his mom out for her actions to avoid making her more mad. Between his moms outbursts she'd come back as if nothing happened and try to joke with him as usual, and he'd pretend nothing happened.  Well over that time I drilled into my husband that he had an unhealthy toxic dependency on his mother. At first he denied it, but over months he realized it too and stopped replying to her phone calls and stopped seeing her altogether. Though she left plenty of screaming voicemails over the 2 years of cut off contact.  Now his mom is calling him and leaving friendly messages again, so my husband is going to me and asking if he should try and build a relationship back up with her. I don't know what to tell him. It makes me extremely uneasy at the thought of returning to that constant panic I felt during the time of her abuse, but What is the right thing to do here? Thanks. By the way, since cutting off the relationship with his mom, my husband has remained sober, so I'm also terrified of giving her the power to cause that again. Also, I'm pregnant with what would be his parents first grandchild. And his mom called and left a message as she wants to know if we will let them come to the hospital to see the baby, so my husband is asking what he should tell her and whether he should call back at all. It's hard for me to be the decision maker in this because I'm so stressed out at the thought of his mother. WHAT DO I DO?!

As though there's no inherent expectation for the husband to have?  His happiness and pleasure resides solely on his ability to make his wife happy. Disclaimer:  Those of you who non-answer, this is a simple question.  But go ahead and show your stupidity.  I'll call it.

I am completely turned off by my boyfriend after he rejected me cause he said the girls in porn are better. So why is he with me if that's the case? She contacted me before our marriage to warn me that he aint good (after they cheated and i forgave ), then married him and now all she told me about him is true. He changed his attitude a lot after marriage and now seem to Have an affair with another woman. I am not sure if he is cheating on me with the same woman, but i have this intuition. Would it be okay to talk to his ex and ask her if they still have a relationship?

A friend of mine makes $12 an hour, but his child support is $600 per month for 1 child. (When he was first put on child support, he made $21 per hour, while the child's mother made $9. She now makes $20)  He can't afford the payments and he wants to get it reviewed, but he owes back child support from being previously incarcerated, so he's afraid to ask. Background.. My husband said their mom was always out chasing men and cheated on their father which led to divorce when they were kids..and his mom would leave her kids while she was with several men...  Fast forward years later..his mom is broke, living with husband number 4 who is 15 years younger and drives a nice car that she purchased for him..she's 65...he doesn't work so basically whoever takes care of her he is part of the package... her daughter works  has them living with her in a rental. Instead of being thankful...she was telling my husband she did not like the new house.my husband told  her "well you don't have a say because you didnt pay for it". My husband and I have a new home 5 hours away...and years ago she tried to have my husband make her a special room and was thinking "he would be the one to take care of her and buy her a house." I see what my mother in law is trying to do...but I won't fall for it..if she was frail and sick I would move her in...but she's not she's got expensive taste and has a boy toy.. How to stop her without being rude to her? 

For almost 3 years my husband has been trying to (sometimes succeeding) leaving "love bites" on my neck in plain view for everyone to see. I tell him that I don't want them and hate them. I tell him no over and over again but he doesn't listen and gives them anyway. I just try to hide them.but it's so difficult. In the past (like 3-4 yrs ago) I've contacted my husband's three major friends when he had gone MIA for a bit because he was depressed. I know he needed to get out and he wouldn't do it on his own. They gladly, well, one of them gladly did it. He's a cool guy and I like him a lot. He seems to be good for my husband as a friend. I usually feel like the annoying kid sister whenever my husband takes me to hang out with his friends. It's obvious they don't like me and that's fine, people usually don't. Well, back in October 2019 I was on the verge of suicide. I really wanted to die. It was horrible. I turned off most of my social media and just went away. No one really noticed I was gone. I don't have any friends to notice my existence anyway. It's just one of those situations where old bullies from high school added me onto their Facebook. Anyway, I got stable. The past couple weeks or so I've felt myself kind of off and yesterday and today I feel I'm sinking back into October.  My husband gets mad at me for feeling this way. I haven't really told him the extent I'm feeling because the worse I feel the more mad he gets. I just need to be alone to think... and because of covid19 he thinks I want him home 24/7. Untrue. It's my mental health that's in shambles right now. Would it be weird to ask his friend to invite him over so that I could have alone time? I just need to sort through my feelings without him here. And I feel horrible for it.

My mother in law and I fight constantly. Actually she fights with EVERYONE. She's VERY RUDE and very difficult to be around. Unfortunately, my husband doesn't want to deal with her so he "throws her off on me." He never stands up to her or tells her to quit because he doesn't want to end up in a huge fight with her. My mother has unfortunately passed away so she's really all I have as a mother figure. His mother calls him EVERY MORNING at 8AM. If he doesn't answer she calls me, if I don't answer she sends us nasty text messages. Many times I just hang up on her because she's so rude then she starts a text message war with me cursing me out. I can't take it my husband doesn't stand up to her! HE HANDS THE PHONE TO ME TO DEAL WITH HER when she starts to argue with him. I've been putting up with this for 12 years and I think I'm at my breaking point. What should I do?

the were both injured when the semi truck and trailer he was driving rolled over 2 times ejecting them both. my son has a broken back and multiple stitches to his face and 1 hand. he was released after surgery. but his wife is still in ICU recovering from multiple injuries. she received more injuries. the hospital allows my son and his wife's mother to Zoom (video chat) with her. his mother in law is blaming him for the accident causing my son to  slip deeper into depression. they have 2 small children together. im afraid my daughter in law's mother may be telling my sons wife its his fault or questioning her about it.
