My mom depends on me the most out of my siblings (we're all grown adults). My sister is married with kids, so she has her own family to take care of. My brother and I both still live with our parents. My mom depend on my brother mostly for driving her around, but with me, is almost for everything except for driving. She always say without me, she's can't do anything. I ask why she can't ask my brother or sister, and she'll say because I know the most. I'm the most tech-savy, take care of the mails, help her buy stuff online (she also asks my sister for online stuff), and pay for most of the house bills. When I tell her she can't depend on me for everything, she gets upset. I plan to move in with my bf, who lives in a different state, and she got really angry. She called me selfish and say I'm abandoning her and the family. She asked if her love for me all these years cannot be compared to the love from my bf of over a year. I reassured her me moving doesn't mean I'll stop helping out. I can still do most of the things I've been doing at home. But she's just not taking any of it, and saying all she wants is for us to be close to her as she's getting older. She said now that I'm an adult, I think I can do whatever I want, neglecting her. When I asked her what about what I want, which is to live my life and start my own family, she would say I can do it without moving so far or she would guilt trip me saying so I'm just gonna abandon the family...I don't know what to do. 

I can never believe he passed away. He is the only one who loves me deeply . He suffered lung cancer problems  . He is the most kind hearted man I have ever seen . His suffering appeared for four months and he died in hospital . I can never believe he passed away . I need him badly . He is very gentle and generous . I am married but he is everything for me . I prayed a lot that he would live for me. I cry a lot every day  . Our photos together make me cry a lot . Nothing to calm me down . 2 months left after he left me and I am still in severe pain .my dad was not too old .he was only 60 . I am very influenced by him in everything. I can not watch the movies he used to watch or the music he used to listen to  or even the food we used to eat together . I really miss him. My second problem is that my mum is very lonely and in pain too ...I want to spend time with her but my husband wants me to stay at home and not to spend a full night with her . I can not even compensate her loss . Everyone who met my dad felt very sad as he was a great person. My third silly problem  I have strange questions. 1.Where is my dad ? 2.can he feel me ? 3.What can I do if i wanna tell him something? 4. What happened to his body? 5. Does souls have feelings ? 6. What can I do to make my dad talk to me ?? 

My mom and brother are always spending money unreasonably (either on luxury cars or home decors). The problem is we are not rich and we really don't have that kind of money to spend like that. They put themselves in debt, and my mom would tell people how we are poor. I complained a few times about the way they spend money and they got angry. They think I'm always talking about money and being frugal. I know is not my place to micromanage how they spend money, but I just don't want to see themselves get into so much debt. And is also affecting me cause in turn, I have to chip out a lot. I am already paying for most of the house bills and I help my mom a lot on paying groceries and other things. My brother spends all his money on cars. Whenever I talk about it, I'm the bad guy. I even said to them if they haven't been spending so much money on those things, we could have saved up a down payment for a better home. Is like no matter what I say, they turn everything on me, like I'm wrong to say so much. I just want them to hear me out and truly see where I'm coming from.   

(please help)  My dad abandoned me when my mom was pregnant with me and ive probably only met him like 3 times in my life, he's a horrible greedy man and i dont hate him anymore but I don't want him in my life, it's too late for that bullsh*t and now he's calling me, and i dont f*ckin want to answer but my mom is forcing me to, how do i tell her i dont ****** want to in a way she'll understand, someone please help.

My family gave up on me like everybody else does. They left me with nowhere to go. I don't know what to do. I'm lost and alone. I'm thinking about just ending it. I don't want this life.

I'm close to my cousin and I'm an auntie to her child. But really I'm her second cousin, so am I really her cousin or auntie or does it not matter

Back in the summer of 2008, I was 8. I would spend most of my time with my aunt and her two kids (my cousins) being babysat I guess you could say. That April, I had went to the zoo with my dad one Friday and while we were there he had a kidney stone attack and it scared me a lot...to the point where I didn't even want to go anywhere with him. I remember after he passed the stone, he showed it to me the next day when I seen him. At 8 years old, I really didnt realize what passing a kidney stone meant. So, the summer of 2008, I spent the day with my my aunt and her two kids. What I didnt know then was my aunt (my mom's sister) and my dad were hooking up when her kids weren't home or I wasn't there. In March 2009, my aunt at 38 years old, gave birth to a baby girl and it wasn't until 2010 when we were told my dad and her had conceived a baby that summer. So, now in 2020, I graduate from junior college and my dad offers to buy me a car. He's now 63 years old, with a younger woman whom he works with and a baby on the way with her, I feel like he's trying to make up for everything. The baby he had with my aunt, was given up for adoption because her alcoholism took over in 2012. My cousin's are hold enough to to take care of themselves. It kind of bugs me that my dad didn't even offer to help raise her. None of us really got to even know her. My dad goes around having babies with women under 30 and I dont know what to think of him now that im older knowing what I know. 

she acts like im a terrorist or something when I do it. She flips out every time. 

I've been watching him for 2 weeks with my other 2 sons. They are all close in age so he calls me what they call me, dad. There is a part of me that feels weird when he calls me dad, like I'm stealing something from his fathers legacy. I didn't tell him to start calling me Dad, he did it on his own, and I also feel like it's good for my grandson to be able to call a man dad, that He genuinely loves hims.  My step son was killed in 2018 only months after the baby boy was born.

My Mom keeps telling people I have Austism which I do, but I met my sister's boyfriend for the first time and she's telling away. Like its not her place too I'm 29 years old. Live with my Husband and 4 kid's. She did this when I met my Husband as well.

I'm nearly 20 years old and I'm a liberal woman from Mexico and I'm trying my best to move out of my country after getting my bachelor's degree. My mom is very conservative. She says that those women who get raped are the guilty ones, not men! Because men can't control themselves and their sexual desires, but women can and if women don't allow men to approach them, nothing will happen to them! I saw in the news that a 13 year old girl was beheaded by her father, because she wanted to elope with her 37 year old boyfriend. I'm not saying what she did was right, but she was just a little girl and she didn't know what she was doing. My mom says that a girl who has such an old boyfriend knows better than you and me what she's doing and her father did the right thing to kill her! She says that she most likely knew about her father's temper and her father most likely had warned her! Why should we pity such an idiot girl??? I would do them same, if you were a ho*ker like her! WTF??? My mom also believes that neither women nor men should have sex before marriage. She says like:"When we were young, we would hide our breasts with our arms! We were such modest people! Men didn't know what a woman's genital looks like before marriage! We were such a good generation!!!". I just want to kill myself by hearing such words from my mom's tongue! I always smile at her and I say nothing in return of her words, but deep inside I know she's wrong.

After your teenage years, life gets crappy. you have more responsibilities and less time for fun

I feel super stuck. I cant learn how to practice driving down in texas bc my parents dont want me to practice w their car. So my grandma said i could go down to atlanta and she could help me get license and even help me get a car. But my dad thinks I'm waisting money getting a ticket down there but i need to know how to drive and buy a car bc i may be on my own in college and i need my own way of getting around so i can have a job and other ssssshhheeit. But what would YOU do if you were me in this situation.

I live in a different state. My dad called me the night before informing me he was coming to town to visit the sister the next morning. He didn't ask me if it was OK to come by, etc. I'm the type of person who discusses and plans when I visit someone. For example, if I want to visit you at your home on Saturday. I will talk about it with you to see if that's possible based on your schedule probably that Tues/Wed. So when he came to town, I didn't answer the phone. Was I wrong or should I tell him. He thinks I'm still a kid but I'm grown now with my own family and deserve respect.

My older sibling not all. She's not doing very well financially or in her relationship. She talks smack about me and disowned me when I graduated college. Even though she talks smack about me, she started the same freelance business as me and failed miserably which I find kinda odd? If you don't like me why would you try to be like me? My sibling is very obsessed over me and tries to copy me in every way possible. Isn't that strange?

I was staying with my step aunt   and she said If I let you take care  and live at grand mas home you must  not receive mail there  and no key for the home door locks , so now my unreasonable aunt wants me removed from the  grandmas house  what should I do.?

My mother says a lot of hurtful things to me. I call her out on it, and she does not make amends. For example, I have struggled with thyroid problems for a decade now. She is well aware of this, but she constantly calls me "lazy" for being fatigue. I am also 80 lbs. overweight, and my mom constantly takes digs at my size. I explain that I have health problems, and she says she doesn't want to hear it and that I am lazy and need to stop eating. However, I recently went on a spiritual Daniel fast. I was not trying to, but I lost 8 lbs. During that time, my mom continued to offer me junk food. She later admitted that she noticed I was losing weight. Basically, my mother saw me making a change for the better and tried to stop it. I live with her right now cannot afford to leave. How do I ignore her? I also gained the lost weight back within a day or two of finishing the fast because my thyroid became inflamed.

i am really anxious about it all. she's fine it's just crazy that that happened to my family. i'm really upset and it's not like i'm the one who got hit so i feel like i don't really get to be the one who is upset. do i suck it up or is it ok that i'm upset

He is white yet still says the n-word and I just found the courage to confront him about it an hour or so ago but the insisted that there was nothing wrong and that I was just picking fights (we've been going through a 'rough patch' lately seeing as I've been gaining the courage to stand up to him more.) I've even explained the horrible history of that word and he still doesn't see a problem with it. How do I make him understand how horrible that word is and possibly make him stop saying it? (I understand free speech and all, but even so, I'm afraid that one day hell say that word to the wrong person and get badly hurt...)

She is in bad shape. It is in the state of Virginia (though I live in Ohio).

My Dad lies a lot and I've written on here about it before. I want to know if this is another one of his lies or not. I was relieved when he said this but then remembered he lies a lot and a recent lie he made about travel this past winter. 

My daughter is here in NY with me and her boyfriend is in VA. She has been living with me but she's financially independent and actually helps with the house bills. If my daughter moves, she will have to quit her current job, which she doesn't like and is making a lot less than her boyfriend. Her boyfriend has a really good and stable job, and has his own house. He promises to take care of my daughter and help her anyway possible. They have only been together for over a year, but they love each other very much and have talked about marriage and starting their own family.  I do see that she's really happy in the relationship and has told me she likes the peaceful atmosphere of VA compared to NY. I don't want her to move away, I depend on her a lot. I just want my kids to live close to me as my husband and I are getting older. Her older brother and sister are both here, why does she want to move to another state, away from her family? Her boyfriend's family is also here and he comes back often to visit them. My daughter said she's not abandoning the family and promises to come back as often as possible to visit, plus we can always talk on the phone. I can't help but think she's being selfish for wanting to move away just to be with her boyfriend. I don't have anything against him, I just wish he would be the one to move back.

They insist on calling him Will, even though I consistently ask them to please call him by his name, Wiligreg. It's annoying. How can I make them call him by his name??
