Posted: 10 May 2020 07:48 PM PDT I've never been on a date or in a relationship (Never really had a crush either), but I know I'd like to date and get married one day. But there's some problems to it. I don't really know how to meet and continue being friends with new people unless I'm introduced to someone by someone I know already, like family and friends (Which has always been a problem when making friends from elementary to now in college, I'm 19) and I'm scared to try meeting people on the internet cause my area is well known for human trafficking and I've even personally known some people that became victims of it (Thankfully, they've all been found). And even then, I really don't know how relationships work? I know it sounds pretty pathetic but I'm trying to, in a way, live life the way I want to, if that makes sense? I've already started losing weight cause I want to live healthier, like I've always wanted to, and I've even gone as far as to try to talk to people in my classes because I want to be more social even though I still struggle. Any suggestions on how to solve that? |

But in every subject we talk about,he says he is "the best" "getting paid more than normal people" "I'm awesome" Etc. It's good to be confident and all but I am just curious why he thinks he needs to keep telling people how "awesome" he is? Then I say "you are!" and then he says "haters gonna hate" like if I was a hater so I apologised to him. But then there he goes again "lol I'm not that sensitive. don't worry" blah blah Is it him that being annoying or am I the odd one here thinking this is getting annoying? |

Everything was great during the relationship but after we broke up, things kind of got rocky. Sometimes we'd talk like we never broke up (not really flirting but like really close friends) despite the fact that he wanted to have casual sex with me that whole thing took its course and I etoooed talking to him in January after New Years. Once I stopped texting him, he viewed a few more of my Snapchat's and then stoooed viewing them. In March I came home for quarantine and posted some text messages on Snapchat between me and my cousin saying "I love you" and I guess he must've saw that through the thumbnail cause he randomly viewed it. That was the first thing he's viewed in months and plus I posted a random pic of something right after and he didn't see that so what was the purpose of him looking at the text convo? Was he trying to get my attention or was he curious to who I was seeing or talking to? |

To be fair while we were together, he would ALWAYS text first. anyways so he just wanted to have casual sex with no strings attached after the breakup which I tried to wrap my head around, and considered it but knew I didn't wanna. I wouldn't say he led me on with giving me hope for a possible rekindling of our relationship but I should've gave him an ultimatum or cut it off sooner anyways besides the point, once we were talking after the breakup and the reason why we broke up was because the distance became too much for him and he told me maybe if I had a car we could've stayed together ( I don't think that was the real reason and my friends told me it was a terrible excuse) We were talking over thanksgiving and I posted a pic of my car and we had already been talking ( I initiated ) I'll admit I was being soo thirsty lol and it was so obvious what I was doing and while we were having a convo he asked if I got a car. And then eventually asked to hangout. I got all excited because I thought that meant we could start over however a few weeks later he went back to the casual sex thing! so I'm confused!! We talked for about five minutes, then asked if she wanted to see something I had for her and to close her eyes. She laughed and said sure. I got a stool, stood up, and pulled my pants and boxers down. I said open up, she did, and started screaming. She slammed her window down and two minutes later her dad was at my front door pounding it. My parents were at Walmart at the time, and after two minutes he stopped. Regardless, I have a lot going on and I like being single, but there are points where I also kinda like having someone who's really good to me and does great things for me it's really reassuring but I'm only 20 and don't care for commitment right now I wanna keep going to the gym I like the idea of meeting new people, but I'm scared this is a missed opportunity if I don't take it, I also don't want to hurt this girl, I do not want to lead her on or test the waters, and then inevitability hurt her, I like having a supportive friend around, and I have no idea what the future is gonna hold to be honest, new girls, new career, new friends, new hobbies, and I don't want anything to hold me back in that sense, I'm confused as hell at this point and would like any advice |

Honestly, we've argued more in the last week than we have the entire time we've been together. Usually me and my bf spend almost all of our free time together. We make time for other friends and family of course, but it's always felt like we enjoy each other's presence the most. Starting a couple days ago, though, he's spent more time playing games with his friends on his PS4, and hasn't really been responding to my texts/calls as much. Normally I'd be okay with this, but when I asked him if we could spend some extra time together because I'd been missing him, he said okay, and then went right back to playing with his friends. I brought this up to him with no intention of starting an argument, but then he just started getting angry at me, and accused me of trying to start a fight with him and make him feel bad. Things between us have felt different and tense ever since then... Today we talked on the phone like always, and things seemed to be normal again for a while, and then he said that he wanted to spend time with his friends again and he left. I want to respect his other hobbies/friends, but to me it feels like he's putting me second on purpose. Like he'd rather be with them than me. We met on Hinge but had many mutual friends so I felt like i sort of knew him before we started going out. Everything seemed to start out really great. I took things physically and emotionally slow as I had just gotten screwed over by another guy a few months prior, I didn't want to go through similar heartbreak. This new guy was great when I told him I wanted to take things slow. He was super respectful, kind and caring. We hung out about 2 times a week. We seemed to take turns asking each other to hang out. We started a couple TV series together and by about that first month, I started to feel very comfortable around him and started getting feelings for him. Well now we are about at month 3 of dating and I told him I was about ready to have sex with him. He seemed a little skeptical for some reason when I said something but I just figured it was because he knew I wanted to take things slow. After the day I told him that, he seemed to slowly distance himself from me. He barely was responding to my text messages, one of my friends matched with him on Bumble and to top it all off, he cancelled on our plans to hang out the morning of our date (he's never cancelled EVER on hanging out). I'm getting a really bad feeling that he's about to ghost or leave me completely out of nowhere. Does it sound like this guy is pulling away from me out of nowhere? |

Hopefully it's not too much longer until we see each other again" and put a smiley Emoji. then about a week later he text me out of the blue "hey you just came to my mind, I wan to remind you how awesome you are and I'm greatful for our friendship, how are things going? back in March he told me he "doesn't know how he feels" and "everything will work out how it's suppose too" it seems a little weird to say those things to a friend |

I am not bad-looking, I have a head full of hair, I am pretty fit and I do shave my face regurlarly. My hygiene is on point, and I am able to socialize well with people, I'd like to think that I'm pretty confident around women. Still though I don't seem to be able to attract nobody. Not since I became single. Whenever I ask someone out, they usually reply with that they don't have time, and then I never hear from them again. I really thought I was of above average quality, but maybe it's because I'm quite short, or maybe it's because I've recently became a little skinny. Haven't exactly hit the gym as often as I should have during these corona times. I do try to wear good looking clothes and I do style my hair, so it's not like I don't make any effort either. I've never had trouble in the past to get people to like me. But maybe I need to further develop my social skills, when it comes to the romantic and/or sexual aspect. She is dating this new guy who by the sound of it is bit selfish and a show off. When she started talking about him, I had a neutral feeling about this guy but she unveiled little by little that he is selfish and had implied that my sister is stupid. She told me everything in detail of what that guy told her and I immediately knew that he was into something. He works across a different nation. Few months back he came to the states and he asked her to come visit him 1500 miles away from where she lives she did which I couldn't digest because why couldn't he come visit her. Anyway, she told me that he had once asked her how much she makes at her job and when he learned that she makes more than 6 figures his response was "damn, you are making more than me". He also thinks he is the only person on earth who is actually good at his job (which is super cocky) and also he describes his ex to be very pretty and intelligent which makes me think that that's all he cares about in a woman. After she complained about him being selfish and him calling her stupid I immediately hated him and didn't wanted to have anything to do with him. And now she is trying to justify every single thing he has said. I can't accept that guy to be my sisters partner. I'm practically starting to hate my sister. What should I do? I have talked with her millions times. Why can't she see the truth about this guy? What kind of a guy is he?? What does that mean if a guy says our does that?
