This girl I like a lot likes me back, but has admitted to me that she can't date someone that doesn't believe in God, says bad things about Jesus, etc. I make jokes about God and Jesus and everything to tease her about her faith. I don't believe in any of it or take it seriously, but she is a hardcore Christian always talking about Jesus and his love for us and all that. Despite all the chemistry we have, she refuses to go out with me. I want to date her so bad, and am incredibly interested in her, but I'm not interested in the whole christian thing. What should I do? She said it would always feel wrong to her. Dating someone who doesn't accept the lord  and how rejecting Jesus is basically rejecting her. She seems serious about it but I don't get it

I've been dealing with a rough friendship for a a couple of years now. On and off again, fights and make ups. Things are somewhat steady right now but I'm trying to end it. It's really hard for me to let go. Anyone have tips or suggestions on how to let go? Even articles I can read. It's just been tough on me. There's no fixing it and they way we've been trying to shows me we can't. I'd appreciate any type of help. Thank you
