Question: How can we fight for our child? Posted: 19 May 2020 03:19 PM PDT My wife Ari has had post-partum depression since our daughter was born in Sept. In February she even tried to kill herself. She regretted it and swore she never would again. She went into this like childish state afterwards. She cried constantly, she ignored all her body's needs, I had to tell her to eat and go to the bathroom, it was bad. But she started new medication and saw a therapist which helped. Her mom also came and helped for a few weeks. Ari became her old self again. Well her mom came back two weeks ago to visit. She started to talk about moving in with us, and how "bad" Ari's depression is, and all this stuff that upset my wife. As her husband, I wouldn't say it's bad. She has bad days occasionally, but who doesn't? My biggest concern is her sleep-walking. The other night she picked up our daughter and dropped her into a chair. She wasn't hurt luckily, but she cried. Ari felt awful and we planned on talking to her dr about a sleeping pill. Well her mom took it all as a sign that Ari is too "emotionally unstable" to be a mom right now. So this morning she left, gave our daughter to Ari's friend, and threatened us with lawyers. She said Ari needs to get more help before she can handle a baby. I would've intervened months ago if I thought that was true. Ari ADORES her. She exists to be a mom. We are going to fight, but her mom has so much money and lawyers. I've spent the day looking for lawyers, but I don't know what else to do. I'm still in shock. Please help. |
Posted: 19 May 2020 12:48 PM PDT Hello everyone, To start off, there is this girl I really really liked (we are also family friends) and still do like. She used to like me, but I was dumb and never asked her out because I was afraid for her to say no. I think she likes someone else now, but at the same time I am not 100% sure and may just be telling myself this. It is about 4 or 5 months later, and I want to text her, but at the same time I don't want to annoy her/bother her or ruin every chance I have, if I have any. I also don't want to sound stupid. I really do like her a lot, but I don't know how to tell her, or I don't even know if it's worth it. Please help. What should I do? I would do almost anything to be in a relationship with her, I really really like her. I am also in my early teens, and don't know what to say to her. Or how she would would react. And what does a girl look for in a guy? And I would do absolutly anything for her. I try hard to get her attention, but I am not sure if she notices. I always look my best around her, try to be nice to her or talk to her, she has even seen me at my job and I tried to say hi, but that was around 1 year ago when I was 13. |

Question: I don’t like loaning my boyfriend money what should I tell him? Posted: 19 May 2020 05:29 AM PDT My boyfriend and I have been on off for 4 years. He supports his mom at home helping with rent and she always asks him for more money. Besides that his sister took his room she moved back home and he has no space of his own. He also has terrible spending habits he will spend it on drinks etc. No one in the house is willing to get a second job and he goes to ask me for money all the time even had no electricity once and his mom asked him if I could Loan him 500. I have given him money before and he always pays it back. I do have a lot more money than him but it's the principle and I don't like waiting to collect money from him. It makes me think of the future if we have kids or try to live together are you always going to give all your money to your family? Will i have to take care of him and my children? He is 22 and didn't finish high school and i am 21 and have only done a year of college so far. He acts silly all the time and i try to show him the way but he doesn't take my advice half the time. Should i move on from the relationship if i care about him? Am i being materialistic or shallow by having these thoughts because he is broke? My mom has had me live rent free my Whole life I only have to pay for my own credit card and I am financing a car. Also pay for my own college books. How do I tell him that him depending on me financially makes me uncomfortable? He also doesn't like to do any activities even if they're free like skating in the park. Just sits on *** and play video games. Won't even go in a restaurant to get his own food because anxiety |

Question: Are we falling off?!? Posted: 18 May 2020 08:52 PM PDT So before going into freshman year my roommate texted and introduced herself. She was really cool and we had a lot in common When we met in person we became great friends and did almost everything together. I would even go to her house sometimes. we've had disagreements and stuff we've had to talk out and she's gotten in my nerves so much sometimes where I didn't even want to look at her and we've gone a few days without talking or hanging out but we always came back close. So it's now summer and we're gonna be sophomores and we're getting our own apartment in the fall. We're both excited. Now the issue at least for me is that we don't really talk as much as I'd like anymore. We text maybe once every week to 2 weeks which is fine but I don't wanna become strangers. I don't want us to lose our friendship. Do you think I'm overreacting. We both are busy and stuff and she texts first sometimes and sometimes it's me I have a lot of pride so if she dosent text first in a while I'll think we're falling off or something. We haven't talked in a week and a half and the last text, I sent first. Plus the last thing she sent was a meme about how my dog dosent like me and runs away ( it's true lol ) but she dosent know my dog so I kinda took it personal. She hasn't texted me and I've been contemplating over whether I should text first again or not. Like I said I thought that joke was kinda rude. What should I do? I'm torn? I haven't had really good friends in life but what abt her? |
