As I'm seeing people do it during the current pandemic, which of course is understandable given the restrictions, I remembered that some people did this years before coronavirus was even a thing. And I'm sure people will continue to do this well after the pandemic subsides. Why do people elope and celebrate later or do a vow renewal even without a health crisis?
