Posted: 21 May 2020 01:03 PM PDT I'm a 19 year old female (turning 20 in a few days) and I'm from Mexico. In my country, it's not easy to live as a woman. As long as you're not married, you need to get your parents' permission for almost everything. Of course, I'm trying my best to leave this country, but I first need to get my bachelor's degree. Anyway, my friend invited me to her grandmother's house, which is faraway from our city. I asked my mother if I could stay at my friend's grandmother's house for a few days and she said that she's okay with that, unless my father doesn't allow me to go. My parents are divorced and my father called us on Easter to tell us that he doesn't want to talk to us anymore. I called him to ask him if I could leave the house for a short while and he said like:"Why the hell did you call me? Go and talk to your mother! If she's insane enough to send you away, then that's not my business!". Then, my mother told me not to go anywhere. When my father had a good relationship with us, I could go on a 6 day journey with my friends with no problem, but now my parents' conflict is destroying my life. Before the lock down, I lived at a dorm which was 5 to 6 hours away from my mother's house and I could hang out with my friends and have fun. I felt so free when I was at the dorm, but it's not clear when the dorm is going to reopen. |
Question: My in-laws don't like my parent... ? Posted: 21 May 2020 11:45 AM PDT My in-laws don't like my parents. I live in Holland and my parents immergrated to Australia 13 years ago when I was 17. They cant understand why they have not been to visit us and say that they abandoned me.. My parents have made a lot of mistakes and have done nothing for me. They act like they only care about themselves. It makes me feel like I can't talk about my family and nobody asks about them either.. It makes me feel like my family is not inportant and all my energy and attention needs to go towards my husband's side of the family. I m not sure what to do! |
Question: Buying a snow leopard and having it shipped to your house? Posted: 21 May 2020 11:23 AM PDT i want to get one because my crush holden would probably like me back if i had one and also i love them their so cute animals and harmless |
Posted: 21 May 2020 11:20 AM PDT My parents are in the process of moving and as their were looking my dad said to my mom we need 4 bedrooms, and my mom said "no we don't look at my friend she had the two girls in one room and the 2 boys in the other. Now it's me and my two other sisters besides my parents making us a family of 5. Does that sound like my parents are planning on another kid when my mom said that or no? |
Question: My brother has a 4 year old daughter and my parents have not visited them yet.. ? Posted: 21 May 2020 11:17 AM PDT My brother has a 4 year old daughter and my parents have not visited them yet.. He lives in the UK and they live in Australia. He is really upset its there 1st grandchild. So I told my parents this and now they are angry with me.... |
Question: How can I get a pet Snow Leopard? Posted: 21 May 2020 11:15 AM PDT when I'm older i want to get one to make my crush holden jealous and date me and also because i love snow leopards their cute and not dangerous no ones ever died from one ever |
Question: Still bothers me! Boyfriend female roommate ? Posted: 21 May 2020 10:50 AM PDT My boyfriend of 4 months had a girl move into his place and it really bothers me. I feel as if I cant say anything. Apparently from the time they were 7/8 years old they grew up together. Lived in the same house, but two different apartments. His step mom is her is step dad s sister. They are they are cousins, but have a brother sister relationship. They do seem pretty close, and will go out together when I am not around. They stop yesterday at the bar to have a couple drinks, and have lunch. I couldn t go because of work. I did have someone tell me I have nothing to worry about. They have a brother sister relationship, and pretty much always lived together since moved in they they didn t feel like making anything to each. (It was the day she moved in they went out) But they don t share any DNA, they seem to have a close bond. I am feeling really jealous |
Question: Family= loosely connected enemies? Posted: 21 May 2020 10:12 AM PDT |
Question: Parents live abroad.... ? Posted: 21 May 2020 10:10 AM PDT My parents live in Australia and haven't been to see me.. They don't even know where I live... I have been to see them 9 years ago.. I saw them at my brothers wedding 6 years ago he lives in the UK. I live in Holland now for 12 years... In the last 6 years I got married"which they asked me to prospone again 3rd time" so they were not there. Also gave up my nationality for a dutch 1 which cost a lot of time and money. And started a restaurant 5 years ago which is successful. They have been there for nothing they missed it all. I have been on my own with my husband since 16 and never been able to get an education because I had to work to support myself. I paid to get braces on minimum wage and I still need to get my driver's license. I feel like they abandoned me. They always make the effort for my older brother and do everything for my younger brother even buy him cars. Please help I don't know what to do everybody tells me they are horrible for not visiting me... |
Question: Would I be wrong for keeping my daughter away from my parents and brother? Posted: 21 May 2020 09:57 AM PDT My ENTIRE life I was the one in the family who was I call left out. My mom and dad would always buy my brother $300+ shoes, clothes you name it he got it.. literally on his 15th birthday got a truck brand new 2018, his 16th birthday he got a brand new 2019 challenger because the truck was not good enough. I am 5 years older than him and still do not have a car. My husband is trying to help me finance one before my baby arrives. As a child I was the one who was always having everything took away from me, hit just because my brother said she did it. at an extremely you age my brother started telling me to kill myself and he hated me, this went on until I moved out. He never once got in trouble for it. My mom would always say he's just playing, or he finds it funny. after I finally did attempt suicide it got worst with him telling me this and I left home not returning for year. My husband and I got a house of our own with the help of his family. When my dad and mom found out I was pregnant they started threatening to call defax and have the baby took away and kept telling me they would get the baby one way or the other because I did not deserve a baby. I still have yet to figure out what I have done to my family for so much hatred. My husband and I have talked and both agree it would be best to keep her away from them. They treat my grandma the same way they treated me. They sold her house out from under her without her knowing and made her move in with them. |
Question: Is that a reason for her to get mad? Posted: 21 May 2020 09:28 AM PDT My baby father and I just had a baby. And before that, there were rumors that he had cheated on me with his ex that I'm going to fight and that he also talked bad about. As soon he said he was taken their son to meet OUR new born daughter, she was pissed and said he's disrespecting her because I talked about her on my facebook. Is that a reason for her to get mad? |
Question: What should i do with this information? Posted: 21 May 2020 08:27 AM PDT my brother confessed to me that he raped his daughter , I told her mother what my brother told me and she didn't respond to me. My niece never told me anything about it...should i l leave well alone... Or is there something that should do? |
Question: Career Path and Parents Making Me Suicidal? Posted: 21 May 2020 08:16 AM PDT It's best to to just read the photo because everything is too long for this text box. |
Question: Will home school for all teach parents how to be parents again? Posted: 21 May 2020 07:31 AM PDT Mama can't just drop the little heathen off and get out the vodka. Most parents are worthless grown heathens when left alone. They get rid of the kid as much as possible and only have to appear to be a parent for an hour a day. |
Question: How to deal with relatives? Posted: 21 May 2020 06:31 AM PDT I was bullied by relatives since childhood and mom never gave a damn and realized it too late. They bullied me til I was 20 something. They all talk to each other except for me. I have no friends, they have a lot, they have always hated me. Today I pretend they don't exist, some of my female cousins I call them b***** and even insult their children. I hate them so much and I don't understand why other people have nice happy lives with nicd families ans relatives while I had to deal with this s*** |
Posted: 21 May 2020 05:28 AM PDT My cousin has placed hidden audio & video equipment in my bedrooms, bathrooms and all over my home. I have not found them, but I can hear audio of him all over my house cursing me out and telling me he has me on video and he plans to show everybody he knows. I called bug sweeping companies to get quotes, but I do not have the $3,000 - $4,000 for a bug sweep to remove them. I purchased a few products that Does anyone know of any alternatives of how to get rid of them. |
Question: Is it necessary? Strict parents? Posted: 21 May 2020 05:24 AM PDT My friend texted me," Parents are too strict and I'm 28 years old whenever I try to be independent they always try to put me down and say stuff like I'm not mature yet and how the world is dangerous. Meanwhile my younger siblings live on their own. When I travel they try to say negative things or get upset " is this fair? |
Question: Why should I respect my sister? Posted: 21 May 2020 03:36 AM PDT She's a pathetic excuse for a human being. Has Asperger's still lives with my mom Doesn't do anything no job or friends or a boyfriend or anything. Sits all day home doing nothing (not even playing video games like the typical neet) didn't graduates from anything. screams at things and stands there in the mirror for hours staring at her reflection. Will likely starve to death once my mother passed away. How am I supposed to have respect or love a person like that? My mom is a sicko. Thank god i moved out I don't get it why my mom didn't kick her out. And my mom tells me to love and respect my sister. Heck no. She's trash and a pathetic excuse for a human being. I wish she'd die. |
Question: My girlfriend is cruel to my little sister. How do I fix it? Posted: 21 May 2020 12:37 AM PDT My sister (K) is 11 years younger. When K was 16 she became my dependent (a year after I met her), & genuinely my best friend. I adore her, we're extremely close, & given our circumstances she was basically my kid. She just turned 20, and no complaints, she's a wonderful kid. She's a bit innocent (and shy), but she's so intelligent, pre-law at a fantastic university, but most of all she's so, SO sweet and kind. She still lives with me, & she's home from her sophomore year for the pandemic. The thing is, my girlfriend has been staying here too, and I've seen K trying so hard to be friends with her, but GF is just being really mean, which I hate. GF is annoyed that K is around, and she went so far as to imply to K that she needed to get out for a night so that we could have sex without her in the apt. Like I said, K is innocent & didn't catch on, which made GF mad. She flipped. Called K a "traumatized orphan that hijacked her brother's life" and told her that she needs to grow up. K looked to me, but I was in shock, so I didn't defend her. I think K took that as me siding with GF and she looked so hurt. K's always been so scared that one day I wouldn't want her around. She didn't defend herself, she apologized for bothering us and went to her room. I feel awful. K doesn't seem mad, just quiet & sad. Should I kick out GF? K is a baby, and I think by not standing up for her, I made her feel small. She shouldn't feel unwelcome in her home. How do I fix this? I really hurt her. Edit: my GF and I have already been having sex with K at home, it hasn't been an issue. It's almost like my GF just used that as an excuse to try to get K out because she doesn't like her. That's what's unsettling for me, and K seemed to catch onto that too which I think made her feel very unwanted, which is what's made her get all quiet and sad. ^Well, at least, that's what made her feel unwanted, coupled with the fact that I stood by and watched while GF called her a traumatized orphan that hijacked my life. Gosh. I need to apologize, don't I? |
Posted: 20 May 2020 10:37 PM PDT When I was younger, I would get along well with one of my siblings. Older sibling but than I noticed bullying. Once I saw the bullying I stopped sharing every valuable detail I can think of with my sibling. I stopped sharing how to make side money online, where to meet successful people, how to buy a house. This sibling of mine failed miserably in her life and now I feel bad for not lifting her up? Is it my fault she failed? She's 10 years older than me. |
Question: How do I prove that my step-mom is a liar? Posted: 20 May 2020 07:40 PM PDT I think she's a liar because she's trying to prove that my sister and I had sex, when I told her this the next weekend after I messeged her on Facebook about ****, she almost drank herself to death as if it was "my fault" on how that 'affects' me. And all of a sudden this matters now for whatever reason, is she dumb? Should I smack it out of her? |
Question: Is this person/ part of family jealous? Posted: 20 May 2020 07:30 PM PDT So iv got part of a family who pass comment all the time about people and judge a lot. They're close to my part of the family. They love talking about themselves and bragging at what they have until you get something better, they just don't care. What I say to them about and their things, they will repeat to me but it feels very fake and cheap. Now my mother and their mother are sisters. My mother never judges nor passes comment. However their mum does a crazy amount, if my mum phones their mum, all they do is talk about their holiday which aren't tremendous as they are careful with money. If my mother talks about a trip to America, their mother goes and talks all about them constantly. My cousin who I'll refer to as kuz is the same. Only interested in what he's got and if we get something better he ain't interested unless I show a lot of attention towards his which I do a lot to be nice and civilised. An example. Kuz bought a big gaming mouse mat for £30 and shows it off and I'll say how insane and cool it is. Then I buy a £35 which is a lot bigger and he isn't really interested and almost goes angry because mines better (I was looking for a mouse mat a week prior to him looking for his). Unless I ask him about his he won't ask about mine. Another one is my dog. We got a Saint Bernard puppy and whenever we show pictures or videos of him, he doesn't care. They do like dogs but they just don't care. Am I wrong or what. How do I solve this. Thank you. |

Question: Was my aunt right to reveal to me that my Dad is transgender? Posted: 20 May 2020 04:05 PM PDT My parents are mad at her for sharing this. My Dad was a woman apparently and it is why I am adopted. I knew I was adopted but not that my Dad is a woman. I am 14. |
Question: Since my sister and I are estranged should I consider her kids outsiders? Posted: 20 May 2020 04:05 PM PDT Outsider means treat them as strangers and not members of the family. |
