Question: Married and have friends? Posted: 28 May 2020 09:58 PM PDT I'm married, happy two years, but my wife found out i had been taking a female friend out to lunch a few months ago. Not a co-worker or long time friend, just someone i met at a friend's party and we hung out on weekends or whenever we could tbh. Now my wife decided to check our bank account and saw my spending. Being the way i am, I told her a have a friend that's female, but we're just friends who hang out on weekends. Now she's upset thinking i cheated on her. Now who's in the wrong; me being married and having a girl- friend, or is she overreacting? |

Question: Should I take him back? Posted: 28 May 2020 09:34 PM PDT I've been with my SO for a year and a half with almost no issues. We love one another and *I thought* this would set to last because of consistent marriage talk and a stated plan for getting to the goal. We get along very well and when we disagree he's very good at listening to me and deescalating. I also felt he was the one, and I don't remember getting along with anyone so well. Anyway, I should mention this was a long distance relationship and our plans were squashed with COVID-19 grounding everyone. And yes I had a lot of hesitation because I feel a relationship must be face to face to truly know someone, which was part of our goal. One recent day we were talking about just that - how are we going to plan the uncertain future and what steps should we take to get to our goal of being together and married. Old topics came to the surface and a few things he wants are not within my purview to give, and that we have to find a middle ground, to which I suggested a few options. Welp, he wouldn't agree on any, told me it was a deal breaker, and said there's no point in getting married. Just. Like. That. I was floored. We wrapped that up and a few tense hours and tears later we agreed to stay in contact. He's calling daily, calling me "baby," and not acting like we're done. He even called himself my husband again and I had to remind him he's not. He said he still loves me. I love him too, but I don't feel the same after what happened. Should I take him back? |

Question: Is this guy just a friendly local? Posted: 28 May 2020 07:40 PM PDT I see him in the gym each week. I train with my elderly father and he always comes over to chat before he leaves. Then I go for coffee with my parents in a local café and he always passes while were there and comes over for a chat |
Question: My dad is white but says the n-word, how do I stop him? Posted: 28 May 2020 06:17 PM PDT I confronted him but he insists that he's in the right, even when I explained the horrible history of that word and said that I was just trying to fight. I under stand that some people might answer that saying that we have free speech but as well as just how racist and downright awful it is to say that word, I'm afraid that he'll say 5he wrong thing to the wrong person and get hurt... how do I convince him to stop saying it? |

Question: How many guys can handle this with their wife? Posted: 28 May 2020 05:58 PM PDT I crave this fantasy. I want a woman my husband have sex. It is the most submissive feeling. I do have a breast fetish only but this fantasy is like a really great appetisers but I can't live on appetisers alone. I know I could never alone. I know I could never be in love with a woman and have no romantic fantasy. |
Posted: 28 May 2020 03:19 PM PDT I moved out due to various reasons concerning where we currently live and him not willing to compromise. He wants to stay living where we live. Prior to marriage and after finding out I was pregnant with twins he was fine with moving. In fact, he was more dedicated to looking at listings more than me. A lot had changed. I never wanted to be a stay at home mom, but with twins there's no way my job will pay for daycare so now I have to. I feel like if I have to be the one at home most of the time, we should at least move somewhere where I'll be okay with it. In the beginning, he agreed fully. Now, he doesn't care because we live by all of his family and he wants to stay by them. I want to move half way between all of our family (a measly 20-25 minutes away.) We tried therapy, to no avail because he refused to say what was on his mind in front of the therapist. As soon as we'd leave, he'd send me paragraphs via text talking about why he doesn't want to move. He's now not speaking to me. Not even to ask about my pregnancy because he "is doing a lot of thinking and making up his mind." I've been gone a month! I think that's plenty enough time to decide if you want to compromise or divorce. I expressed this to him, and silence was all I got in return. Should I just go ahead and file for divorce and see what his response is? Or continue on in this state of uncertainty and stress while he strings me along for the ride? |

He offers to help her do her work and volunteers to be the one to explain concepts to her in the group even when others are ready to. He's also offered to share food with her when he was eating and she wasn't and always says hi to her when he first sees her. He also always looks at her for a while if she seems displeased by something he's said or done to anyone else. Question: How do narcissists react and feel when you change your number and cut off contact? Posted: 28 May 2020 09:06 AM PDT That's what I did to my ex, I cut off contact and changed my number. But before I changed my number I told him to stop reaching out to my mom. He called me and said he's trying to help me, also was upset I didn't pick up the phone or replied to his abusive texts. Then he attacked my parenting skills and said he'd try to get full custody of our daughter that he has done nothing for. Is this normal for a narcissist? |
Posted: 28 May 2020 08:38 AM PDT I am writing a book and want to know if the divorce situation my main character is in could be realistic. She is married to a wealthy man who has his own company but it also involved in illegal activity. He has become controlling and abusive. She runs away and files for divorce in a different city. I would like her lawyer to keep as much information about her current residency private to protect her safety. She has no documentation of his abuse or police filings against him. She is scared for her life of him and just wants her marriage over. |

Or imagine having to tell your kids and grand kids and friends that you got married in the worst, most despicable, disastrous year in human history. Who would want to remember that.
