I have a pretty big heart, so this really hurt me and I have a difficult time of letting go of emotional pain. I can't sleep, don't have much of an appetite anymore, high anxiety, little to no self esteem. It sucks. This is really the first person that I've dated long term and I really really liked her. Everything was going so well until last month. She moved on so fast and I don't understand what I did wrong/what's wrong with me. We had everything in common too. Fitness, liked the same video games, sports, both into cooking, etc. I'm 26 and she was 25. |

They, many of them women my age (jealousy factor) are saying that she's only with me for $$ and the "thrill" of dating a mature man for the first time. It probably doesn't help that let's just say I'm not poor, not even close. They think she's "cashing in" because there's no way an 18 year old would have a 5,000 sq ft. house on 6 acres of land on her own. Thing is we started dating in February. Then in March, she had to leave her college dorm because of COVID closures. And her parents back in California don't want her back. And we like each other, so I don't get the wrong here. She does sometimes use my place like it's a clubhouse, but when I think of breaking up with her I often wonder if I'll ever date girl that hot again. There are no women that hot my own age, you see. They need to just get over it am I right? We have the same taste in music & movies |
