Posted: 24 May 2020 11:28 PM PDT When I married, my fiancé and I went off and were married privately. We wanted this for two reasons: 1. My family was embarrassing; 2. We knew my parents would be relieved at the no-fuss plans. No one in either family raised any objections, then or since. I am a widow now and I hope to remarry soon. The embarrassing members of my family have passed away, and I would like to have a reception afterwards. I consider my late husband's siblings and their kids to be among my dearest friends. Would it be tactless to have any sort of a wedding, or to invite them to it? Will it seem like a snub aimed at my first marriage? |
Posted: 24 May 2020 08:20 PM PDT I know engagement rings that cost $16,000 is very serious. I find some rings that cost $30,000 each and it is more serious. I know most people can not afford that expensive rings. Can someone tell me how much do you spend on your rings if you wanted too???? Thank you for sharing and thank you for your time. Have a good day and take care. Good bye and good luck. |
Question: Anyone have good ideas for eloping? Posted: 24 May 2020 11:22 AM PDT My fiancé and I were supposed to have a big wedding in a couple weeks which we cancelled due to the virus. We're planning on eloping now to keep the rest of our families safe and plan on celebrating later when restrictions are lifted. So now we're trying to come up with creative ways to do an elopement. We don't have a backyard since we live in a Manhattan apartment, and not much of a living room even since it's a tiny studio. So we're trying to think of other ways to do this. Maybe go to a mountain, take a helicopter somewhere. Go to an isolated beach or park? Don't know, it's tough when you live in New York City. Please help |
Question: What should I do in order to help my girlfriend who is being mistreated at home? Posted: 24 May 2020 10:19 AM PDT Her parents died when she was a child and she's been living with some relatives, the point is that they hate her. They costantly pick on her, make her cook, let her shower for no more than 10 minutes counted as not to waste hot water (but their american grooms can shower as much as they want and many times a week), she has to play with their children and babysit them when they go out, she shares a room with two other cousins who hate her and call her names cause she doesn't go clubbing and she is a quiet girl. She told me she is tiring of living there and wants to go away and never look back, also added that she feels no affection for them nor their children, because they have been treating like this since she was a child. They don't even want us to meet, her male cousins threathen to beat me up if I dare to talk to her. Now I'm more than sure to take her to my own place, the only problem is that she is 17, I am 21, she cannot wait no longer. |
