Weddings: Question: Doesn’t eloping violate social distancing rules? |
Question: Doesn’t eloping violate social distancing rules? Posted: 01 May 2020 01:26 PM PDT I've been seeing alot of couples elope because of coronavirus. And In most cases they were not keeping 6 feet apart and we're also kissing during their ceremony. Aren't those all violations of social distancing? This is how the virus spread? Even if the couple lives together, one of them could be a carrier without knowing, who picked up the virus from somewhere, and spreads it through kissing and hugging. Sounds really dangerous I'm just looking out for people and their safety that's all, I'm a really caring single person |
Question: Why are people eloping now and celebrating later when it could all be done at once? Posted: 01 May 2020 10:27 AM PDT Due to the current coronavirus I notice a lot of people are eloping now and having a reception later. First of all even eloping violates social distancing rules, unless the groom and bride are 6 feet apart and don't kiss. Also why would they want those two significant moments broken up by several months to a year, that's kind of awkward. Wouldn't it make most sense to postpone everything and do ceremony and reception the same day like most weddings go? The couple was going wait to marry before the reception before so why has that suddenly changed. Why do people marry to get health insurance when by American law all Americans must have health insurance or face tax penalties, and Obama care is affordable and has amazing plans, so there's no excuse for having no insurance. Plus you should never marry someone just to get benefits, those are the kinds of marriages that often times end in divorce |
