Now don't get me wrong, he can be an amazing boyfriend sometimes and other times not so much though. The thing is I make him a priority I always make time to respond to his texts/calls. I never take super long to respond either. Him on the other hand he will sometimes take as much as 2-3 hours or more no matter what time of day to respond to a text from me. And every time it's always some excuse "brother" or "watching tv with family" or "running errands" and this isn't just a one time thing. I'm not saying respond to me in 5 minutes or else, but when it gets to be more than an hour it bothers me because I feel as though I'm putting him first and making the time and he puts me second best half the time. I have brought this up to him and he always tells me he's "working on it" or that "he cares so much about me" but yet he continues so do this. I need some thoughts/advice please and the thing is, I could be at work with my friends or own family and I always make the time when he needs me or sends me a text. And I never make a big deal as to what I'm doing either |
