Question: Boyfriend accepted girl on flirtatious girl on Facebook ? Posted: 09 May 2020 07:47 PM PDT My boyfriends dad lives in shared accomodation, he has 3 roommates and one of them is a 25 year old girl. Yesterday my boyfriend dropped off groceries for his dad and bumped into this girl, he told me she was very flirtatious. 1 hour later she added him on Facebook and he accepted it, she messaged him saying "hey love" and they're having a casual conversation. He says the reason he accepted is because she does a lot for his dad and he didn't want to seem rude by declining.. I'm annoyed at this because if that happened to me I wouldn't accept or even let someone continue flirting with me. He says "we both do things different ways but the same outcome" should I be mad at this? |

Posted: 09 May 2020 07:44 PM PDT My ex girlfriend and I broke up. Well I dumped her and I'm going to be honest it was my fault I have broken hearts before. But 2 months after she started messaging me on my phone saying how she has feelings for me very strong and that as crazy as it sounds she cant live without me gone. This same scenario has happened to me a couple of times In my life. I guess I'm not meant for relationships. I give up and move on to new women |
Question: I can relate to Elliot Rodger? Posted: 09 May 2020 07:28 PM PDT I actually had a crush on him after reading his manifesto because I can see he's a sensitive guy and like a little boy throwing tantrums. I mean he cried himself to sleep every night awe. Anyway I have lived a life similar to his and it's true I think a lot like him despite being female so his thinking that female's brains are flawed is not true. The truth is that there are two types of people-extroverts and introverts whether they are male or female. Extroverts will never understand introvert's line of thinking. They may even criticize us for it because they have never experienced what introverts experience. Yes, there are very bitchy females but there are bitchy males as well (I have experienced it). And Elliot doesn't actually want sex. If he wanted sex he could've just hired a prostitute. What he wanted was actual human connection. He wanted to be loved and accepted. He thought he was all alone in this world when there are probably millions of people who think like him. If only he just waited after posting his manifesto instead of going on the rampage. Anyway I can relate to most of his manifesto but the ending was kind of messed up, saying women should be put in cages. I think it's just his way of dealing with the stuck-up bitches of America and yes, even as a girl, I know how stuck-up American girls can get. I have never fit in with those kind of girls myself. American culture has just created arrogant girls but it doesn't mean all girls are like that. |
Question: How do I know an older man is interested in me? (Thank you in advance for your comments!)? Posted: 09 May 2020 07:20 PM PDT I have been interning at a doctor's office for a couple weeks and during the last week I became very attracted to the doctor. I caught myself imagining touching him and my heart starts racing when he looks or smiles at me. However, I am 21 and he is 40 years old. I am not sure whether he is interested in me. He is very funny and often jokes during consultations and I noticed him making rather long eye contact with me and smiling when I laugh. But I'm not sure if that's simply his personality. He likes to tease people, me included, but his staff is all female and young so I cannot tell, whether he might be interested. I know he is single, and one time a staff member asked about his dating life when I was around. Then he said, as he is only around medical staff he will likely choose a partner from that field and mentioned nurses, doctors AND medical students, then looked at me. I am not sure if he was maybe checking out my reaction. Maybe he was only joking? What I am pretty sure of though, is that he respects me as a person and adult and always gives medical and professional advice to me. He does also ask about med school and he talks about his experiences with med school. We also speak the same foreign language and sometimes joke around the other (not understanding) staff members in that language. I feel like he enjoys teaching me and giving advice, but I am not sure whether he likes me. He also knows my mom, so maybe he would be embarrassed to get rejected by me? |

Posted: 09 May 2020 06:45 PM PDT and not care whether she rejects you or not I am too much of a nice guy, if a woman rejects me, I feel bad about myself. Question: My girlfriend broke up with me...she said she doesn’t want a relationship right now? Posted: 09 May 2020 06:45 PM PDT She told me she just wants to be friends with me for right now, and I told her no,m because I want her back as my girlfriend. We were together for 3 months before she broke up with me. She told me that she had been feeling this way for a month, I really don't know what to do. She keeps texting me "good morning " and asking me what I'm doing, and she also calls me when I get off. What does it's mean when she says we are just friends..I asked her does she still wanna be with me..and she told me yes but not for right now. Every time when I ask her if I can see her, she always tells me no..that was when we were together, right before we broke up. What should I do? Should I move on? |

Question: How to keep your emotions under control when it hurts? ? Posted: 09 May 2020 06:15 PM PDT A friend of mine from college passed away last week and I've been struggling to keep it together. Its tough because I don't want to talk about it with my family and they do. Basically we were really good friends in college and we were with each other a couple of times and then we weren't, it's really as simple as that. She went home and I moved on with my life but she was always in the back of my mind somewhere, honestly as weird as it is just a month ago I thought of her and was thinking its funny how people grow apart like that. So I gave her a call and she was really happy and said we should meet up after this madness ends. So before I ramble on, my family never knew her or even my close friends from home, we never got to that stage of visiting each others home, so I wouldn't know her family, her sister just rang me to say as I guess they talk about stuff and I came up. So I've been really down about it and remembering her and thinking why I wasn't a better person etc etc and naturally my family wasn't to know why I'm down? So I tell my mam and initially it was good to get it off my chest but they're all asking too many questions, were we going out? Would you like to get to know her family now? Would you like to meet her mam etc? And it's making it worse, I just had my relationship with her and ironically the only person I want to talk to about this is her, I wish I never told my mam because I just want to be alone. I don't know what my question is to ye at this point |

Question: Boys..do you like to kiss a girl who wears lip gloss? Why or why not? Posted: 09 May 2020 05:37 PM PDT |
Question: Could you understand how this would make me uncomfortable? ? Posted: 09 May 2020 05:23 PM PDT My boyfriend and I were hanging out, and we had just gotten out of the pool at his house. I told him I would shower first then he said he'd shower afterwards. In the middle of my shower, out of nowhere he comes in, and next thing I know he's just touching and kissing on me. I don't mind kissing and touching BUT we have not had sex yet, so I was caught off guard to suddenly have us naked together in the shower when we haven't been physical or seen each other naked. I told him that I know he didn't mean anything by it because he thought I would enjoy it, but it made me feel uncomfortable. He says that because he is my boyfriend he should be able to see me naked, and I shouldn't be uncomfortable. Thoughts? |

Question: Why do some women go after men who don't really have it all together? Posted: 09 May 2020 05:21 PM PDT That type of man I'm talking about is me. I'm 29 with a "so-so" job. It doesn't pay much. I don't have a degree. I live in a poor neighborhood. Decent neighborhood. Nothing special. Recently I met this woman, Janessa, and she's got a bachelor's degree. Her own car. Her own apartment. And she's 23. Janessa REALLY likes me for some weird reason. I really don't get why a woman like her would want a man like me because I mean, I know how the world works. Women want financial security. They want a man who is somebody in this world. Now I DO plan on going back to school this fall to further my education because I want to be an English teacher. However, I get why a woman wouldn't want to be with a man for his potential. Either he may come up big-time or he may not. So what's her deal? I will say the fact that Janessa does believe in my potential makes me not want to let her down. I can only imagine what her friends really think of me. They're very nice to me, but who knows what they say about me behind closed doors lol. |
Posted: 09 May 2020 05:13 PM PDT My boyfriend and I recently broke up, but the night after the breakup he texted me saying he messed up. I, of course, gave him a second chance. He tells me that he doesn't want to ever lose me and that he loves me so much, but his actions don't match his words at all. I ask to hangout and he says no because he'd rather just stay home and play video games, or he says no just because and doesn't give me a reason as to why. I have asked him why he tells me no all the time and he claims that's just how he is. The first eight months of our relationship were amazing, but after that he has been a different guy. He never asks to hangout, I always do. I'm so conflicted because I love him, but with everything that has happened I am so emotionally drained. We continue to still argue about every three days. He is a great guy, but I don't think he is the guy for me. What makes this decision so hard is I know he loves him, but he doesn't show it with words. He says his life would be so boring without me in it. Do I just put his feelings aside and do what's best for me? |

Question: Should I let my teenager see her boyfriend? ? Posted: 09 May 2020 05:08 PM PDT My daughter is 18 and has been really depressed lately. She goes on walks with her boyfriend, but I know if he was allowed to come over and spend time with her she would feel better. Should I allow this? Her boyfriend works at a grocery store, so I'm worried about him giving her the virus, but I have to think about her mental health as well. What are other parents doing? I know they will likely be fine, but I'm worried about his parents and me and my husband getting it. |

Question: Will guys date a girl like me? ? Posted: 09 May 2020 05:00 PM PDT It's been bugging me that i'm not attractive enough to the right men and I attract the wrong type of men. I'm 20 years old in college and I'm Sri Lankan and don't wear makeup at all. I have been working out to lose some weight in this time as well. I think I have a great personality and I'm focused on my education and building my career. But, I just want to know if anyone will be interested in dating a girl like me. Give me your honest opinion. |
Posted: 09 May 2020 04:59 PM PDT I'm dating a 56 year old guy. I noticed recently hes been liking this really pretty girl on Instagram photos. I think he knows her through work. She's only 29 but pretty and she posts lots of sexy selfies. Should I be upset? Had he had the chance would he go there, that's what I'm left wondering. |

Question: How can I tell if someone was my twin flame or a Narcissist? ? Posted: 09 May 2020 04:24 PM PDT There was someone that I met years ago at this point now, and it was unlike any other connection I've ever experienced. It was a deep and passionate connection, however it was short lived. I am not even exactly sure what happened. I think it was a combination of bad timing/poor communication. However, I cant shake him. He's the person I always come back to after another dating relationship doesnt work out. I've done some reading on Twin Flames and Narcissists and it really sounds like he could go either way. How can I tell if he is one or the other? |

Question: Is he interested? Please help? Posted: 09 May 2020 04:16 PM PDT So me and this guy was messaging each other on Facebook and he was talking about how he's transferring to WA and asked me if I've been to Canada yet. I told him "no but I want to go so bad" then he replied and asked me " me neither. How about this. Whenever I come to Washington, if it's ok with you, may i take you out on a date to Canada so we both can accomplish that milestone?" Then I said " yeah just let me know when you get here". |

Question: Should I go for a walk with my ex boyfriend? Posted: 09 May 2020 04:11 PM PDT He left me a few months ago with zero explanation and zero warning so I was incredibly hurt and mad at him. It's been so painful not talking to him, but today he asked me to go for a walk. I have no idea what that means. Will this reopen old wounds? It was such a painful recovery process and I was so hurt and felt betrayed by him, but I know I have feelings for him. Idk what the intentions of the walk are, either |
Question: How to win an ex back? Posted: 09 May 2020 04:09 PM PDT loll it's sad i've come here but my ex broke up w me 3 months ago - he wasn't sure why it felt wrong but we think it's bc of exam stress. we are very close still/ we message each other lot and people have told me he always seems to want my attention (he always singles me out on groupchats) and have questioned why he always "teases" me bc it seems kinda flirty. he's kinda emotionally blind and i don't wanna be pushy... any advice ? |
Question: I feel my boyfriend is talking to other girls online? Posted: 09 May 2020 04:06 PM PDT My boyfriend has stopped texting me for three days but I see him online for an hour or more, and I get scared he's talking to other girls. What should I do? I'm in late twenties. I have this insecurity because he told me in the beginning of our dating that he casually talked to random girls online, but it wasn't romantic. And recently he said that he recently realized that what he was doing with talking to girls on tinder is BS, so it made me realize that he was still talking to girls even three months into the relationship. What should I do? It is late night when I find him online, but maybe he just sleeps all day and wakes up late these days. I really don't know. And I'm thinking of just moving on, at the same time, don't want to falsely blame him. |

Question: How do I get her boyfriend to admit for slashing my tires? Posted: 09 May 2020 03:38 PM PDT I know it was him. He find out about me having sex with his girlfriend. I want to press charges for vandalism. |
Question: Does he want sex only? ? Posted: 09 May 2020 03:32 PM PDT So I've been talking to a guy that I had a crush on for years now and I'm finally talking to him. We were taking normally,at first then he would ask a pic of me but no nudes. Then he would say phrases like *** up face down, I'm like ok? Then I tease him saying I had a dream about him that we were basically having sex. He said he can't wait to see me and he could make my dream come true. He also said he would fifty shades of grey me and ask if I want him to seduce me. But I always give a response like do I tho?... or let me think about it. So the question is do you think he just wants sex or is into me? |
Question: How to set a boundary with my therapist (see details)? Posted: 09 May 2020 03:26 PM PDT She is really my doctor and therapist, but I've been planning on seeing her only for medications. Still I think there needs to be a boundary. 2 years ago she asked me if I had certain preferences when dating or if I date any man, I told her there are certain deal breakers and she was glad j said that. When I talk about dating and mention that I have a lot of experience she tenses up. When I mention that I prefer to date men over 30 and that I will not date a man who hasn't been in a relationship by now, unlike the other time where she asked me about preferences, she gets all defensive and says I have to understand that some people have reasons for not dating. I do not find this to be good advice because whenever I have attempted to date someone close to me in age or older that never got serious it is like I become their therapist and its draining and I really hate it. She is around.my age and I think hasn't been in a relationship, so I want to know how to ask her to let me have my own preferences even though I will avoid talking about them at this point. I dont want to come across as criticizing her for not having been serious or even showing that I realize this, but I do think if she isnt going to act like I can set my own standards then something needs to be said. |
Question: Is he in love with me or does he just hate me? Posted: 09 May 2020 03:26 PM PDT Okay so i had this two month fling with a guy i met at work, i told him that i was just a fling because my boyfriend was to come from studying abroad and we would get back together. He agreed to that and we also said we would stay friends. So my boyfriend came but he was quarantined for 2 weeks so we were discussing the situation with the other guy and things got a bit aggressive. But he told me that it was fine and whenever i was alone and i wanted i could always text him to catch up. We met up one day after that cause we have mutual friends and he was totally ignoring me. Five days pass and i went drinking with some friends and i posted a couple of stories on my Insta (he saw them) and in the evening i found out that he blocked me. Does he hate my guts? I mean we got off on semi good terms, whats wrong? |
Question: Is this considered cheating? ? Posted: 09 May 2020 03:23 PM PDT I had ended things with my bf because we got in a really huge fight and he acted up so bad. I told him it was done between us. So almost two weeks later. I was drinking in my room and i was thinking of so many things. I decided to message a guy friend who i ust to work with and who i knew since i was growing up. I asked him about my job and then he asked how i was doing. He invited me to go over his cousin's house because he had an opened house and i went what i was thinking?. I never do that, i dont go in the middle of the night to a guy's house to drink. So i got there and noticed a girl was already asleep. We went to drink inside his cousin's room and we were talking about good things, no flirting. Just remembering old times when we were small. So then i noticed he wanted me to take so many shots and i didn't. So then it was around 5am, i wanted to lay down and let the buzz go down. He layed down, hugged me and told me he always thought i was "beautiful", he then hugged me and i told him to stop! I was pretty drunk, then he tried kissing my neck and i said stop! So i fell asleep and i woke up dizzy to him trying to touch my private area, he also unbutton my pants and tried putting his private part near my but area. I told him to stop! his aunt came in shortly after and then i left right after. I felt embarrassed. So then i messaged me telling him what he did was wrong! I respect myself. His excuse was "sorry i thought u were awake", then he said "sorry i was drunk". Added more information about this question to the answers. |
Posted: 09 May 2020 03:19 PM PDT I feel like any woman who would try to justify this is inherently selfish. I'm not saying all women are guilty of this, but why would you intentionally do that to someone you supposedly care about? Why is it only women who make excuses for this type of behavior? Also I'm not suggesting it is impossible for men and women to just be friends but people need to understand that relationships either grow or end they don't just stay the same for an extended period of time. If you truly respect that person as a friend, shouldn't you be completely honest with them and give them closure? Instead of making them think you may want something more in the future. You wouldn't like if someone friendzoned you right? I'm not trying to debate why men and women do this to each other but can we all agree that it's just wrong? |

Question: What's the difference between love and infatuation? Posted: 09 May 2020 02:26 PM PDT Over this last year my guy friend and I have gotten really close. How can I tell if I'm infatuated with him or if I'm falling for him? I can never really tell! Also, he told me a couple of weeks ago that he loves me and he was being very serious, not in a joking way. |
