Posted: 06 May 2020 09:39 PM PDT My adult daughter who's 24 and her boyfriend still live at home but problem is she never wants to go to his place. She said his parents house is too small and cramped and they prefer it here. Her boyfriend comes over twice a week on Saturday and Sunday for a few hours. They both have online jobs but can't afford to move out because their pay isn't enough. I told my daughter I'm giving her two years to get her act together. Me and my wife would like some space as well. My daughter was like " If you and mom want to go get a hotel to be alone you can." She knows we won't allow her to be spend the night at a hotel with her boyfriend under our roof. Not that they could afford it anyways. Her and her boyfriend have their dates at our house since they can't afford to go out. They will watch a movie or show on the tv. But she suggested we do it. I told her we want to enjoy our own house not a hotel. My daughter doesn't seem a problem with any of this. She was like " he only comes over twice a week. I don't see a problem." |

Question: How do I tell my wife that she smells bad? Posted: 06 May 2020 04:16 PM PDT For the past week my wife has been smelling like something straight from the kitchens of red lobster and it's grossing me out. No matter how much I wash my privates and hands it still lingers. I swatted a fly earlier and the "whoosh" was very funky and fishy from our morning session. Please help!!! |
Posted: 06 May 2020 02:32 PM PDT My mom's been dating a guy way younger than her (he's 27, she's 43). They've been dating for about a year. I've had concerns about my mom jumping into a relationship that's doomed to fail due to their age difference/maturity/stages of life. After I realized their relationship would be more than a fling I told my mom my concerns b/c I love her and I don't want her to jump in a relationship where things likely won't work out and she probably will get hurt. However, she insists there's not a maturity difference (even though I think there is one) and she doesn't feel an age gap with him. She says she's viewing this with a clear head. She told me they are in love with one another. Recently my mom/her boyfriend announced that 1) they're engaged 2) she's pregnant (However, I do know for a fact the pregnancy was planned, so they're not getting married just because she's pregnant) I genuinely want to feel happy for my mom and have full faith their relationship can work out. Despite my concerns, I do recognize he's a really sweet guy who treats her very well. I also know that my mom hasn't been with a nice guy in a very long time (my father was verbally abusive and a little physically abusive). In a lot of ways I want this to work out, but (as I stated before) I've had my doubts. Furthermore, I think the age gap is plain weird. My boyfriend is 24 years old, which means he's only 3 years younger than her boyfriend. (more to read) I'm closer in age to her boyfriend than she is. I've heard them have sex a few times (my mom gave me the key to her house. There are a few times I've walked in to hear them doing it), and the age gap just makes me want to vomit (my mom doesn't get how loud she actually is). I want to stop feeling like it's weird/it'll fail, but if I'm being honest I'm no where near that point. Given the circumstances, how can I best be supportive despite my doubts about the relationship and how weird I think it is? Is there any way for me to stop being weirded out by it? If so how? |
Question: I’m embarrassed to tell people I tested positive for coronavirus today? Posted: 06 May 2020 11:43 AM PDT I live in South Carolina where basically EVERYTHING is open. I honestly lived in my own little "bubble" and for the past week I've completely forgotten corona virus existed. My neighbors have been going to clothing stores, I've met with friends on a few occasions for food outdoors, I have not ventured to the beach but nobody is wearing masks here it's not good. I kinda had a "bad feeling" last week when I was out and about that I might get sick. Now, I've tested positive and I feel bad. I feel weak like I've been hit by a truck, my throat is raw, I have a fever. I feel so guilty because I've been around my neighbors who are in their 80's. They asked me for rides to the beach and various stores. I took them to Lowe's. Granted, I never went in any of the stores with them. I'm embarrassed to tell anyone I tested positive. I'm sure I'll be the "talk of the neighborhood." and everyone is going to hate me. They told me to go Homs and quarantine for 14 days. I feel so bad I wish I could just die. I don't know what to do. I feel like a failure. From March all the way through last week I didn't go ANYWHERE literally ordered all of my fro online everything. My mom basically convinced me last week to go out and that I wouldn't get sick and how this was all too much and the government was trying to control ya. I honestly want to die I feel so bad. Should I tell my neighbors? I'm honestly scared her son is going to come after me and harm me. It's possible I even picked it up from them. |
Question: What did my BF mean about his comment? Posted: 06 May 2020 10:30 AM PDT We had been discussing about summer wedding but he wants to delay because of virus and personal stuff to do. He says to take more time, but he thinks there will be no issues between us in future as long as "there will be no interferences and terms between us". He doesn't want others to interfere in our lives. What did he mean? |
Question: Should I divorce my husband ? Posted: 06 May 2020 10:27 AM PDT We've literally been married for three months and I'm pregnant with twins. We've been together for a year and a half total. Prior to marriage, he agreed that we'd eventually move away from our current location (right next to his mother) and that I'd never be a stay at home mom. Now, we can't afford to move anytime soon nor can we afford day care so I'm expected to be a stay at home mom. His mom barges into my home all throughout the day unannounced. I lock the door but she has a key. He says he'll change the locks but insists on leaving a spare outside "hidden" in case she needs it. Which defeats the WHOLE purpose in changing the locks because she'd just go make a copy of the spare. I'm expected to stay home full-time and put up with her! He's not willing to compromise. I told him I'd work part time and my mom agreed to watch the babies while I work but she lives 40 minutes out of the way. She'd be closer if he'd be willing to move like he initially agreed to do. I just don't know what to do. I don't want my kids growing up without both parents but I'm expected to sacrifice so many big life decisions all of a sudden and put up with a MIL from hell. I've moved out and I'm staying with my mom. My husband and I haven't spoke in two days. I just feel so hurt and defeated. My husband also has a daughter from a previous relationship. The child's mom is on drugs and not very involved. She calls me mom and my husband and I intended on me adopting her in the future. My husband has also informed me that he doesn't intend on taking his child's mother back to court anytime soon because he's worried she'll be given unsupervised or more time. Yet, another decision that he's reversed on me. Also, if we divorce, I'll lose my relationship with her as well. |
Posted: 06 May 2020 10:05 AM PDT 1. During news story involving a neighborhood groper, he said, "I would kill any man who touched your mom's titty." <—— used vulgar slang while referencing his girlfriend's anatomy to her 25 y/o son 2. While the 3 of them had dinner at her mom's (son's grandma's) house, he said he hates when he and his girlfriend are cuddling in the morning & she has to get ready for work, to which he said that he says to her in the morning, "Nooo, stay with Daddy." <—— openly implied to her son and mom what his name is "in the bedroom" 3. When he asked her son, within her presence, if he has a girlfriend, & he said "no," he did a stroking gesture at his crotch area & said, "You need to find somebody, you can't just be doing THIS all the time." <—— "masturbated" in front of she and her son while implying son's "private time" in front of her 4. While the 3 of them were watching a movie in her living room, he took off her sock and started kissing her foot, until son gave disgusted look & she told him to stop. <—— let his hormones act out in front of her son 5. While he & girlfriend's son were at her house (she was on her way home from work), he popped in a porno DVD in the living room instead of privately in the bedroom. When she got home, he still kept watching it, to which she walked in there and saw that. <—- treated an X-rated film like a family film Does he have a sick trailer trash fetish where he likes being sexual to his girlfriend in front of her son? Or is her son a snowflake? He also doesn't provide for her. She works while he stays home. |

Question: Do you think my ex is waiting on me? Posted: 06 May 2020 08:58 AM PDT I'm going through a divorce. It was an abusive and a near-fatal dangerous relationship. Church people & some family are praying I get back with my spouse and not get a divorce. Not gonna happen. Anyway, I have an ex who I feel like I should have waited to marry. We lost touch and he had to leave town for work. He kept in touch for holidays and birthdays. We never really broke up, we just had our careers get in the way. Before he left we were talking about marriage. That was years ago. He doesn't know I'm divorcing and I'm not inclined to tell him until I'm done. He never married, no kids. I had 2. Can I expect that he might want to get back together since he keeps in touch? |
Question: Loving a best friend who’s married? Posted: 06 May 2020 07:54 AM PDT My best friend and I met about 19 years ago. We met over the phone , long distance. We all grew up in same neighborhood but her and I just met over phone in different states , through a mutual friend. I became her go to friend for all problems. That eventually led to us visiting each other once and it evolved into something more. Unfortunately I had to come back to California and she was in Midwest. We still kept in contact as best friends but of course the feelings were always there. We just knew the distance was the problem. Well, she eventually she settled and married. Unfortunately it was the same guy she had always had problems with. Long story short and 17 years later, were still here and she's miserable and I know everything. In her eyes I'm the only one who truly knows her and loves her and she loves me. Of course no one has known this but it's gotten to the point where she wants out. Unfortunately she now has 3 kids and a lousy husband her acts like he's her son. Anyway , despite his absence of being a husband, i still feel it's wrong that we continue to talk while she is married. I told her that I love her but I can't come between her and her family. I couldn't bear the thought of her husband, as clueless as he is, to find out that something very bad happen. I decided to step back and told her I'll always be here but from a far. At least until she figures out her life first. I feel doubts for doing this but i also feel it's best. Your thoughts? |

Question: Just wondering why men get angry when another man is more muscular. ? Posted: 06 May 2020 06:07 AM PDT The neighbor man is very buff, maybe on steroids, anyways my husband who I love got all upset when the neighbor was working on his car in a muscle shirt and sweats. My neighbor has all sorts of tools, he is also out maintenance technician who lives literally in the same townhome building as us. My husband who knows nothing about tools went out and bought 3,000 worth of tools and tool containers! We don't have 3 grand to spend. Then later we found out our neighbor was army and oh boy did my husband get even more angry. So he went out and bought used military clothes and bought a AR15, which he has never fired a weapon. Now I love my husband and find him perfect for me. But this is upsetting me because I really don't care about the neighbor in any way other then he fixes our town home. I think my husband is assuming I find the neighbor attractive. I don't. If I'm being honest the neighbor is very strong looking and average height. Last thing our neighbor has a wife if girlfriend not sure and shes actually really beautiful with red hair, so that said I know my husband finds her attractive so if I can get over the little redhead fit girl then he should get over the buff maintenance guy. I did tell my husband a gym could help and I would join him since I'm a bigger woman. |
