Question: Husband called me a slut? Posted: 08 May 2020 08:14 PM PDT We have been going to this church for 2 years and the pastor that preaches who's also married I have recently noticed he's a handsome guy. I told my husband about it jokingly saying I thought he was handsome and the reason I told my husband is because I felt bad for having those thoughts. My husband got extremely angry and called me a whore and a slut and that the Bible says I have committed adultery. I told my husband this guy doesn't even know I exist plus he's married. My husband told me years ago that he use to look at girls wearing sluttish outfits before and I never got mad at him about that. What should I do I feel so bad ? |

Question: How does Menopause change a woman's personality? Posted: 08 May 2020 06:18 PM PDT I have seen it again and again in women. Most recently in my uncle's, now ex-wife, snapping mid-life. My Mom did it, her sister horribly, and many others. The uncle's wife left him because of it (there had been issues though). No idea why this ended up in Marriage, meant to post in Women's Health. Sorry I am a 23 year old woman so am curious. |
Question: Which of these two crimes is worse? Posted: 08 May 2020 05:47 PM PDT A) Husband on Wife physical spousal abuse B) Wife on Husband sexual usury, trickery and deceit And before you answer that one of them isn't a crime - several states have withholding of sex by the wife on the state register books |
Posted: 08 May 2020 04:48 PM PDT Why do wives take these canned lines of affection so literally? Why do they let them go to their heads and give them princess and even goddess complexes? |
Question: My ex husband committed suicide last night. Should I feel to blame? ? Posted: 08 May 2020 02:19 PM PDT My ex husband and I met at 14, and had two kids together. 14 years later, I am a single mom and have been for two years. He became a firefighter and became ill with ptsd and alcoholism. We eventually separated but remained "friends with benefits" and tried to save our marriage. But, a few months in he wasn't improving and I told him "we can't just keep having sex and call our marriage good. You have to improve and you haven't" and he took it hard. 9 months later I filed for divorce and that was the end. We've been divorced a year, and last night was one year since it was finalized. He was let go from his job due to his PTSD and behavior on calls and at the station. Last night, one of his FD buddies went to check on him and found him with a gunshot wound to the head and an empty bottle of whisky. I am so lost. My son who is 5 is absolutely broken, and my three year old daughter is so confused and does not understand death yet. I loved him then and I still did and do. It's so hard dealing with mental health and I feel If maybe I hadn't gone through with the divorce he would still be here. Rest easy KC. Watch over us always |

Posted: 08 May 2020 12:57 PM PDT I don't know what to do to continue my lifestyle |
Question: Was he testing my interest? Posted: 08 May 2020 12:43 PM PDT My BF said he bought shoes to be delivered to me and because he doesn't know my last name, he put down info with my name and his last name :) Was he testing my interest? I think he was because he could have asked my last name. And I think he knew because we transferred money to each other all the time (so bank would display our last names). |
Question: Question for all married females? Posted: 08 May 2020 11:35 AM PDT How would you feel if your husbands aunt (moms sister) lived at your place? Question: How do you deal with nosey people? Posted: 08 May 2020 11:00 AM PDT We all deal with nosey people on a daily basis but how do you deal when that someone is your spouse? My wife is one of those people who feels she's gotta know everything you're doing, every where you go, and everyone you talk to. I can't get a text message or send a text without her asking who I'm talking to. I can't send an email without her asking what I'm talking about. I have 6 other brothers and sisters and we have a group chat that we communicate with on a daily basis. I can't get a text that makes me chuckle without her asking what's so funny. Today I'm in the bedroom at my workstation for my job and I have my personal laptop next to me. In between calls I was sending one of my sisters an email when my wife walked in to tell me something. She can't see the screen on my laptop from where she's standing so while I'm typing she leans her body over to see who I'm typing to. I look at her and say, "boy, you're one nose so in so." And I used those exact words. She got all upset and went back to the kitchen in tears. Yes, I have a very sensitive wife. But I just hate it when she looks at me like I'm up to no good simply because she doesn't know what I'm doing. How do you deal with nosey people when that nosey person is your spouse? I feel like I have no privacy in my own home.Yes, even married couples are entitled to some level of privacy. |

Posted: 08 May 2020 08:15 AM PDT We've gone to counseling as a couple, many times, and me separately. She has delayed going by herself. She is an only child who has lost both her parents roughly 18 yrs ago. She has built a wall to protect herself from getting hurt - due to deaths, lost relationships with half brothers/sisters. She admits I'm outside of her wall probably because she is afraid I will leave her too. But this has caused a lot of distance emotionally and physically between us for almost our entire marriage. It has been a one-way street when it comes to expressing love and affection, and I have felt rejected most of our relationship. Coming from a close family, I want to feel more connected to her, and long for a stronger bond. I know I can't change her, and can only change myself. I am doing that and feel more happy and positive than ever... but without her beside me, I am still lost. What should I do? |
Question: What is your opinion on this? ? Posted: 08 May 2020 05:20 AM PDT I have a family member who brought his wife over from another country. They've been together 15 years and have 2 kids. But before she was to come here she told my aunt in that country that her husband to be is not her type but there's no jobs in her home country so it's better if she goes to America. Do you think she loves him? To me it doesn't seem like it based on what she said. Like she just wanted a better life. But then maybe she does love him because she had kids with him? I never told this to my uncle. What do you think? |
