My son is getting married in November. The wedding shower was today. I'm obviously the groom's father yet my girlfriend of 2 years was not invited to the wedding shower. There were 48 people on the list, of which 25 or so showed up. I'm very upset about the fact that rando's of the groomsmen's girlfriends received invitations, but my girlfriend did not. I didn't mention the wedding shower to her because I know she would be hurt. She would be so gracious and say it's ok, but I. Know it would hurt her feelings. My son and his fiancé and me and my girlfriend do things together so it's not like she's a stranger to her. Am I right to be upset or am I over reacting?

After many years (more than 10) I finally started looking to find the guy that made my heart beat when I was a teenger. I wrote and asked to find him and many people read the message in which I said I was looking for a young man in this age, with this eye and hair color who in those years worked in this place. A guy answered back with 'better late than never'. Not 'thats me, omg who are you why didnt you tell me?'. Well it was him. I found him and recognised from his features, the eyes. In the description I wrote that he was as beautiful as an angel and many other compliments, and how I was sad about the fact that we couldn't speak because I was too young and my dad shouted at him for just looking into my eyes. What should I do now? Why didnt he say 'thats me' but erote better late than never? What does that mean? He's single and in perfect marriage age. I dont know how to talk to him I'm too emotional. What if he thinks I'm stupid cause I looked for him?
