Question: 22 and my only friend is my mom? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 05:55 PM PDT I feel like she's the only one who truly cares about me. My father passed away a long time ago. I don't really have other friends. |

Question: What is something smart to say when someone makes fun of your friend? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 04:12 PM PDT Everyday a person in my class makes fun of my best friend. Calling her ugly and gross (she isn't in the class just me. ) so she has no idea these things are being said about her behind her back. What should I say to the bully? Stop making fun of my friend? I want to put it in a more serious way. Because they like to joke around and make fun of lots of other people too. I am trying to stand up to them but what's a smart way to say it? |
Question: Why are people so mean? Especially kids? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 04:02 PM PDT I'm in 9th grade and I overheard these kids talking about some girl. They said she walks really weird and she's fat and she will never get a boyfriend. I knew the person but they didn't know who she was. And the group of people making fun of her were not perfect either. I don't get how someone ugly can make fun of an ugly person? It's like they are just the same as you! How could you make fun of them? Please don't give me bull crap about oh welcome to the real world or not everything is sunshine and rainbows. I know that! Can someone just tell me why kids act like this? I'm a 9th grade same grade as they are and I think it's extremely rude and stupid to be making fun of people when they are just the same. |

Question: Did I act out of line towards this girl? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 12:24 PM PDT One day I saw a girl who I used to have a crush on several years ago at a convenience store, I actually got to catch up with her a bit at the store, a few days later I went back to the same convenience store and oddly I actually saw her there again, I was so startled by seeing her that I had to leave because I didn't want her to think I was stalking her (which I wasn't), it made me wonder if we live in the same neighborhood or not. |

Question: Is this normal and if not how to deal with it? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 10:45 AM PDT So I've been feeling lonely, sometimes it's on and off and I forget about it and go on with my day. It's just that today it's kinda different. I'm 21 years old , two jobs & in a relationship. I was on Facebook earlier and I've seen that almost all of my cousins and some friends are pregnant, and they post gatherings together almost every day and my friends have other friends or significant others that they're with and do stuff with them. I don't really hang out with my relatives cause they're pretty toxic & when I'm with my friends I always feel left out or I regret going out lol. I spend time with my boyfriend but most of the time we're working and when we do hang out it's great but it's always short since we're working most of the time. I just don't know how to feel or what to do any tips or anything will help sorry for the long question |
Question: Is it odd that my friend prefers house parties over going to bars at her age? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 10:25 AM PDT My friend is 28 but she told me she prefers at her age going to house parties for fun and drinking instead of going to a bar or clubbing. She went to bars more at 21-23. |
Question: Doubting that my online friends of 5 years are fake ? help and opinions?!? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 09:45 AM PDT i met this group of people like 5 years ago on an online game, we have been together since then (now i am 18) i always been an introvert and dont have a good relation with family so i spend most of my time in the internet, but strange events often occurred with those friends, they would disappear for weeks or sometimes months (once they were gone for 6 months), they would have accidents, robbery and strange things occurring too often with them, when i asked for contact info outside of online games or chatting apps like discord they would make up excuses like their phone is broken it sounds weird... now im having the hunch that i am being lied to or something wrong is going on, they rarely speak to together at the same time , what should i do ?! we exchanged normal pictures, and they never asked for too much information from me, what are your opinions ? |
Question: Fixing my friendship? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 08:01 AM PDT I have this one friend and she s been my best friend for a long time but since a couple of months ago she just seems irritated by me. She basically became some sort of a toxic, I for example can t do anything right and it s really weird. Does anyone know how I can fix this friendship, she s basically my only friend... |
Question: Can fake friends push you this far? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 05:29 AM PDT there used to be people in my life I wouldn't go so far as to say I would die for it for them but I would help them as much as I could even if it cost me a lot and now if they were dying and all I have to do is lift a finger I wouldn't |
Question: How do you know when to drop a toxic friend? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 09:17 PM PDT I met them in grade school when we were both pretty young and they've been my best friend ever since, we got into arguments here and there but lately they've been acting horrible towards me, criticizing my relationships, making fun of my religion, ( aka calling me a child of god and that I'm no fun because I have rules set for myself) I recently went to a party with them and they lied to my friend we'll call her Amber, that I have been purging my food and that she's worried. (I've never purged, I'm just naturally am skinny and can't gain weight/ have a super weak immune system that causes me to get sick very easily after I eat so much) I really do love them, but they get so smart with me sometimes even to criticize how I love a person, basically saying they don't like my decisions so it's okay for me not to like their decision for drinking too much at the party. I even went out of my comfort zone for them when they were acting up. She never apologized for how she was acting, and went on to say it wasn't fair she had to leave because of someone els's actions. (My other friend got terrible drunk and broke Ambers toilet and threw up everywhere.) but they were getting just as bad, So Amber sent them both home. I haven't talked to them since. I don't even think I should be friends with them anymore after everything but it all leads me back to how we use to be. |
Question: My best friend is a Blood but my other one is a crip. What do I do? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 09:07 PM PDT From kindergarten to 5th grade, I went to an elementary school near my old house and I had a best friend who we will call Sam. Me and Sam would do everything together and we were super tight but I moved to a different house and had to switch schools. I would go to this new school for my 5th to 8th grade years. Me and Sam would eventually drift apart and stop talking but I made new friends at this new school and would meet my new best friend who we will call Andre. Andre and I would always get in trouble and it was a bunch of fun but he was a blood just like his dad and his brothers. It didn't bother me though. I wouldn't be going to the same high school as Andre though but we kept in touch and still hung out. Now I enter high school and I see Sam and we click just like we used to. A lot has changed though because he now joined the crips ever since his older brother was killed by a blood. He wouldn't even wear a red flag for flag football. He hated them that much. So I have Sam whos a crip and Andre whos a blood but I want to hang out with both of them but I feel that they wont **** with me anymore if they find out that im best friends with their rivals. Help My best friend is a Blood but my other one is a Crip. What do I do? |
Question: I feel like a loser and black sheep? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 07:51 PM PDT Hi I am 16. I am a triplet brother, but my 2 brothers are identical and I am fraternal. I am called a loser by them. I take advanced classes and took Algebra 1 in grade 7. My brothers are good at basketball and football, and I can't even catch a ball. If I try to hang out with their cool friends, they all call me a loser and tell me to f*** off. One time their friend punched me so hard I dislocated my arm and I told my mom that I fell down the stairs. My brothers bully me for being a nerd and I saw them smoking yesterday with friends, I told them to stop and they threatened to knock me deaf if I told mom. I've never even dated anyone and they got a girl pregnant. I want to just be cool like them. How can I fit in? |
Question: Is it weird for a 19 almost 20 year old to have friends that are 14 and 15 years old? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 06:15 PM PDT I have a good amount of friends who are 14 and 15 years old . I actually prefer friends who are a 14, 15, 16, and 17 years old. My friends and family think it's because I'm usually pretty childish and immature when not at work. |
