Question: Why do people say Muslim husbands treat their wives poorly? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 09:16 PM PDT Doesn't it depend on the individual? Not the nationality or religion? I've heard people say Arabic men are abusive to their wives, but I know of men from the USA and other countries who hit women and abuse them too. Also I don't think ANY woman should allow this. |
Question: My wife tells me to shower before sex? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 08:21 PM PDT Is this implying that I'm dirty? I would never say that she's dirty because I have some bloody respect. To hell with it, it doesn't feel good anyways. |
Question: Is there a sexual orientation that likes sex but doesn’t care about it that much? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 07:42 PM PDT I'm married. I suck at sex. It's partially that I just can't move and position my body the way I need to; partially it just doesn't come naturally to me; partially a lack of emotional connection with anyone I've tried to connect with. (Romantically and platonically) my husband and I have been together for 6 years, and the lack of spark in the bedroom is starting to cause issues. We can't do counseling, I don't have health insurance. I've accepted that I'm just bad at it, but I'm wondering if it's more than just that. Is there a sexual orientation that fits my situation? Is there a mental illness where you just can't mentally get into sex 9 times out of 10? I grew up religiously (not in it now) and sex was always taboo. I didn't even watch porn until I was in my 20's. I have no sexual fantasies. I love my husband and he loves me- but idk what to do at this point. I've considered having an open relationship so he can go find enjoyment elsewhere, because it's really not a big deal for me. But I'm petrified that he'll fall in love with someone else who can make him feel things that I can't. Y'all probably think I'm nuts, but I just don't know what to do. I've tried reading up on new ideas, tips, tricks, etc. nothing I've tried has helped. I just suck at it. Plain and simple. |

Question: Advice for a divorced pregnant woman? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 03:55 PM PDT Please help 😭😭. I am 24 years old, 8 mo. pregnant and recently was in a painful divorce. I m mentally and emotionally unstable and worry about my ability to be a mother. I am thinking about putting her up for adoption so she can go to a loving family to meet all her needs and I sure as hell don t want to give custody of her to my ex spouse and his psychotic mother. He is not a bad man, I just don t want her to be raised with them because of the situation of him living with his parents (he s 27) a grown *** child and couldn t be a man. Cheated on me. Wouldn t get a job though he has his degree and I was so DONE and filed for divorce. His family doesn t like me AT ALL and I am wanting to not exist!! I can t get out of bed but I force myself to go to work because of my baby. God knew I couldn t make it without her. I know I need professional help to get through this hellish agony and I ask for prayers. I want the absolute BEST for my baby even if it s unbearable to let her go 😭😭😭😭 |

Question: How much time did you take off work after you got married? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 01:55 PM PDT I was going to put in only one week but everyone is telling me to put in one month. What would you do? |
Question: Did my wife misread what I said? How am I at fault? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 01:22 PM PDT Several weeks ago my wife and I planned to go to the beach for the weekend and take one of our granddaughters. That is this weekend coming up. Due to a car repair we decided not to go but but since we already had the day off tomorrow we decided to just take tomorrow off. All week I've been saying that I was going to take my daughter to the DMV to try for her license in the morning. I then decided to go eat lunch at school with my other granddaughter, my other daughter's child. When I told my wife this a little while ago about my plans this was her response. "Well since your damn day is planned, I will make plans for myself. Have a good day." It's not like I was going to wake up and 6 AM in the morning and be gone all day. I'll be done by 1 PM. A co-worker (female) said that she sides with my wife and that I wasn't clear about us still taking the day off. She even asked me if I had asked my wife to go with me to the DMV or to eat lunch at school with my / our other granddaughter. I said no because I know my wife and she't not going to want to get up early to go stand in line at the DMV nor is she wanting to go eat lunch with a bunch of screaming 5th graders. Why ask a question you already know the answer to? Was I wrong to make a few plans on my day off and not include her even though my plans won't take all day? Should I have not planned anything but only included her in my day? |
Posted: 12 Sep 2019 01:14 PM PDT Our daughter is 26. Son is 21. although, there is a significant age difference doing drugs is far worse than being unemployed for a couple of months. I told my son he could not only ruin HIS life but all of our lives by smoking because I drive his car sometimes and his car reeks of drugs. I talked to my son about the harmful things that drugs can do and still he refuses to stop doing drugs. I just hope he will make the right decision. our wife told him to stop doing drugs as well and lectured him but she's significantly harder on our daughter. She never threatened to kick our son out. In fact, when our son said he was moving my wife tried to force him to stay. Since our daughter was 14 years old my wife has been mentally and physically abusive and each time i've had to be the peacemaker and try to get her off our daughter and stop her from insulting her. Our daughter has been diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety Disorder, and OCD. I'm not sure if this is affecting her work performance but she seems to have a lot of the managers complaining about her performance. I've talked to some of her managers who say she will go to the bathroom and wash her hands over and over again. Some say that she will repeatedly count out loud, and she has to spray lysol everywhere she goes. She subbed for some time and I think she got kicked off the sub list for being too OCD. She has a bachelors in communications and even then she barely graduated because she kept failing everything for the past couple of months we've been out job searching, I take her to help look for jobs and fill out applications My wife said she doesn't believe my daughter actually be filling out applications so I told my wife i would take her myself to ensure she filled them out. she even dressed up in a suit and brought her portfolio with her My wife said " there's no excuse to be unemployed for months. Mcdonalds is always hiring. If she can't find a career she can work mcdonalds or burger king our son works at in an out burger oh.. I forgot to add I overheard my wife trash talking our daughter to my son. Why would she feel the need to gossip about our daughter to our son? Is that weird to anyone?? I went to talk to my aunt for an unbiased opinion about this situation.. my sister said that my wife is trying to manipulate and brain wash our son so that my daughter will have no one on her side.. opinions, thoughts?? I don't know what to think about that. My wife has been pressuring our kids to go to college and get a degree and from what i've witnessed it seems as though my wife has been the coldest to our daughter even though she's the only one in our family with a degree.. our son WAS in school but he dropped out of college his second semester because he doesn't like to study and decided to work at the in and out. I told our children that although getting a secondary education is benefical ultimately it's THEIR decision, but my wife tries to force them to do to college. Like my son went to college because my wife forced him to but he ended up not studying.. it was a waste of money.. |
Question: Is 33 yrs old too young for marriage? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 12:39 PM PDT I am 33 and been with my bf for 8 yrs and I still don't want marriage or kids. I love kids but being another person's parent scares me and I enjoy my freedom to be spontaneous. Should I be happy with a kitten, puppy, and just dating for companionship? |
Question: My dad likes other women’s photos on instagram? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 11:14 AM PDT Lol. He recently got instagram ( he has fb) but is oblivious to the fact other people on his friends list can see who he likes. Mind you its of models and his female friends but it irks me the wrong way. I am 16 and have friends on instagram that are also friends on social media with my dad. I don't want them laughing at me behind my back. My mom is a beautiful, sexy woman and they have a great relationship. I don't understand why we even have a maxim calendar of women in bikinis on the fridge. Why not family pics? Am i being out of line for being annoyed? Should i keep quiet to my mom about him liking woman on instagram? Lol |
Question: Should I divorce my wife? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 11:02 AM PDT |
Question: How should I feel about this? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 09:48 AM PDT Yes, I'm bringing this issue up again because there has been no resolution in our home. My husband refuses to let me drive his SUV. He bought a 2008 Lincoln Navigator earlier this year because his other SUV was totaled in a wreck. He did finally give me a key to the truck but that doesn't mean I can just drive it when I want to. I've driven it twice and that was they day he bought it. He let me test drive it for a little while then again to drop off the rental from the wreck. He just told me that he'll be a little late getting home tonight because he plans to take his daughter tomorrow to try for her license so he wants to let her practice a little on it. His thought is that he has his truck and I have my car which I got shortly after he got his Navigator but he doesn't see why I need to swap cars with him for any reason. He says "you picked out that car from the dealership so you should be happy to drive it." Why am I feeling some sort of way that he's allowing his daughter to drive the SUV but he won't let me drive it? He has no desire to drive my car so he doesn't want to swap. There were times in years past when I'd ask him could I take his car to work and he'd ask me "why". I told him I just wanted to drive something different that day and he flat out said no. He has issues with his knees and doesn't want to swap cars for any reason. I drive a Nissan Murano which isn't that small of a car but he said it's too small for him. |
Question: Does anyone else think like me? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 09:24 AM PDT i believe you love one and only person. i do not get how people get remarried after their wife/husband passes away. How can you forget your ex? i am not telling you to mourn every day. i am telling you to REMEMBER. When you forget your w/h and remarry, you are BETRAYING her/him. This is an old fashioned thing and i am like edgar allan poe but i know that i am not the only one that continues to love someone even after they die. if i died i would want to be remembered too. |

Question: How do I get mentally/financially abusive husband out of house? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 08:14 AM PDT I purchased my house with my own money prior to getting married. Eventually, I added him to the deed which was the dumbest thing I've ever done in my life. He mentally/verbally abuses me throughout the day, degrades me, mocks me, calls me all sorts of names. He works, but won't pay for anything, instead wastes his money on gaming systems, workout equipment, motorcycles, etc. He wants takeout from restaurants all the time, but makes me pay for it & pick it up. If I don't do what he wants, I get called lazy, useless, etc. I was employed & worked from home until a few years ago. Now I live off money i invested in stocks, but my husband is causing me to blow through it so fast. I can't get him out of the house because he refuses to leave & I'm not leaving a house i paid for myself. He's like a cancer. |
Question: What does it mean if guy says Im not high maintenance? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 08:08 AM PDT Does he mean in terms of food choices? Because I dressed up real nice and he said I look ravishing. Does it mean I don't look expensive enough? |
Question: My husband just learned who is biological father was, how should he proceed? Posted: 12 Sep 2019 07:21 AM PDT My husband spent the first 7 years being raised by a determined single mom, he has a decent adult relationship with his step-father, and is close to his uncles. This information is brand new (though we got a vague name a few years ago from an aunt). My husband would like a medical history, but isn't 100% on wanting a relationship. However, he also has learned that he has two half-siblings as well and doesn't want to disrupt their family dynamic. Has anyone else navigated this situation? As background, my mil ran into this man randomly, once they realized who each other were (it had been over 35 years), this man was interested in how my husband was doing and what he was up to. The relationship between my MIL and this man was short but amicable, they were both in bad places and the decision regarding my husband made at the time was the one that made the most sense. The man is still alive, I should have used "is" as opposed to "was". |
